In school, after her tests, Lilith began working.
She cleaned the tables despite still feeling dizzy.
Kesian noticed how pale she looked and quickly sat her down.
"Lily, sit down."
Lilith bent her head onto the table.
Within moments, she fell asleep.
Valen and the Obsidian Circle entered.
They had all graduated.
Yamini walked over and gently touched Lilith.
"She's hot," Yamini said.
Before anyone could say anything else, some art students came into the classroom and dropped papers onto Lilith's table.
"She will receive it," Alara said.
Lilith remained deeply asleep.
In her dream, she and Nikolai were dancing together.
He gently rubbed her huge bump as they moved around the room.
Meanwhile, Nikolai sighed softly as he spoke to Mila on the phone.
"I love you too, baby," he said.
The call ended.
He was sitting in a dark room with the family.
"Brother?" Taran, also known as Massimo, asked.
"It's this week…" Nikolai said.
He gripped his seat tightly.
Everyone's hearts became heavier.
They exchanged looks and nodded.
By evening, Lily was finally done with her work.
She packed her things and began heading home.
A group of boys started following her.
She stopped and turned around.
She saw them.
Lilith immediately took out her phone and dialed Nikolai's number.
Morticia picked up.
"He is busy with me, and I'm pregnant, so don't bother him," Morticia said.
She ended the call.
Then she turned Nikolai's phone off.
Lilith tried calling again.
She called everyone.
Nobody picked up.
She quickly sent a voice message to the family group.
"Please, if anyone is hearing this, there are a group of boys following me from school. I-I called Nikki, but that woman picked up, and his line is off. Please help—"
"AHHHHHHH!"
A car suddenly hit her.
The phone fell from her hand.
Ember and Louis came down from the vehicle.
"Let's have some fun, shall we?" Louis said.
The boys looked at her with cruel intentions.
"Don't touch me!" Lilith cried.
Ember grabbed a hammer and struck her.
Lilith's body fell to the ground.
She instinctively protected her stomach.
"N…Nikolai," she whispered.
The boys dragged her away they touched her breast rubbing her body dirtly she pushed their hands away.
They brutally attacked her, tearing her uniform and leaving her badly injured.
Ember kicked her leg.
Lilith screamed.
Her arms and legs were severely injured.
Eventually, they left her hanging against a tree, covered in blood and barely conscious.
Louis called Morticia.
"The job is done," he said.
They left.
Meanwhile, Nikolai was reading in his office.
Morticia entered and sat on his desk.
He didn't look at her.
"I'm pregnant for you," she said.
Nikolai finally looked at her.
He laughed.
Suddenly, Damian rushed into the office.
"Boss! Lily hasn't come home, and she sent a voice message to the group chat. She called you, Boss."
He immediately played the voice message.
"Please, if anyone is hearing this, there are a group of boys following me from school. I-I called Nikki, but that woman picked up, and his line is off. Please help—"
"AHHHHHHH!"
A loud car crash could be heard.
Nikolai stood up.
At that exact moment, breaking news appeared.
"A student's body was found in the forest. The victim was discovered severely injured and hanging from a tree. A witness reported seeing a group of other students attacking her. Authorities have confirmed that she suffered multiple broken bones and lost a significant amount of blood," the news reporter said.
Nikolai's entire body trembled.
He grabbed his phone.
Thirty missed calls from Lilith appeared on the screen.
He stared at Morticia.
"You turned off my phone?" he asked.
She flipped her hair.
"So?"
Nikolai pulled out his gun and shot her hand.
She screamed.
He immediately rushed out toward the hospital.
The hospital was filled with family members.
Viktoria wiped her tears.
Nikolai burst through the doors.
Lilith was lying on the hospital bed with an oxygen mask over her face.
He rushed to her side and cupped her face.
"Baby?" he whispered.
The doctor came in.
"Mr. Nikolai."
"H-How is my wife?" he asked.
"She lost a huge amount of blood. She needs a transfusion. Her bones are broken, and she will not be able to walk for—"
"F-For?" Nikolai asked.
"Seven months. We got her brother's blood for the transfusion. Her baby also needs careful monitoring. She almost lost the baby, and the sexual assault has caused severe trauma. She has injuries all over her body," the doctor explained.
Nikolai closed his eyes tightly.
"She has also developed asthma because of the breathing difficulties and trauma. Please take care of her very carefully. She needs her family at this point in her pregnancy, and her environment needs to be changed immediately for her mental health," the doctor said.
Nikolai nodded.
He held Lilith's hand.
"Find those bastards!" Nikolai ordered.
"Yes, Boss!" the Bratva answered.
Meanwhile, Mila woke up.
The family took her to church.
"Baby, that Jesus," the Harbinger of Ruin said.
Mila waddled toward the altar and sat down.
She looked at the statue.
"Hi, Jesus. I Mil, an' my mama hurt, so now I come to you so you help Mil. Shoo bad meanie auntie far from Dada an' Mama, so you call bad auntie up to you, otay?" Mila said.
Everyone watched her.
"You want bad auntie to go away?" he asked.
Mila looked at them and nodded.
"Let Jesus take her to him," she said.
"You mean death?" the lady asked.
Mila nodded.
Nick really had taught her that?
The other man looked at him.
The Harbinger of Ruin gently patted Mila's hair as she continued praying.
Meanwhile, Lilith still hadn't woken up.
The Nocturne Matriarch burst into the hospital room.
They saw their Boss lying there.
"Boss!" Amelia cried, holding her hand.
Nikolai had fallen asleep beside Lilith.
He had never left her side.
He slowly raised his head.
"They touched my wife," he said.
Selena clenched her fist.
"We need to get her out of here now," she said.
"My team is on their way. We move her," Nikolai replied.
"What about that bitch?" Marina asked angrily.
"Leave that to me," Nikolai said.
"I want to break her," Genevra said.
Nikolai tightened his hold around his tiny wife's hand.
Meanwhile, Ember and Louis were drinking at a club, celebrating what they had done.
A group of women entered.
They found them.
"Boss, the blue-haired woman said.
"Take them," The Apex Monstrosity ordered.
They kidnapped Ember, Louis, and the boys.
Meanwhile, Desmond and Dr. Violet had been dating for the past five months.
He held her hand as they walked toward the lake.
It was February 6th.
Her birthday.
Desmond gently covered her eyes.
"Keep them closed," he said.
When he finally removed his hands, Violet opened her eyes.
She looked around.
A beautiful flower garden surrounded them.
Then she saw the words:
WILL YOU MARRY ME?
She gasped.
"Dez?" she whispered.
Desmond was on one knee.
In his hand was a ring called The Imperial Rose, worth $2 billion.
He looked up at her.
"Violet, life has taken the people I loved the most in this world, which made me one of the most brokenhearted men ever.
"It was just me and an RV. I was always changing them, traveling through different countries, cities, and villages alone, trying to find my destination.
"And that led me to you.
"When you stayed with me, I said everything that I couldn't even say to my own family and brother.
"I poured all my pain into your clean bowl, and you gave me a chance.
"And now I want a lifetime with you.
"I want to spend the rest of my life with you.
"Please… will you marry me?
"Can I be yours?"
Desmond held out the ring.
Tears rolled down Violet's cheeks.
She nodded.
"Yes."
Desmond carefully slipped the ring onto her finger.
He kissed her fingers.
Then he stood.
Violet rose onto her tiptoes and kissed him.
He held her close, smiling as they kissed.
Meanwhile, Morticia was at home with her father.
"Congratulations, my dear," Mr. Draven said.
"Madam, Louis and Ember are missing. They aren't at the club like you said. Someone said a group of women took them," a guard reported.
"What!?" Morticia shouted.
"WHERE THE HELL IS THAT BITCH!!!!!" Daphne screamed.
Thalia suddenly shot the guards.
"You were the one who put Boss in that terrible situation!" Emilia said.
"Y-You guys are the Nocturne Matriarch?" Mrs. Maea asked.
"Who's your Boss!?" Morticia asked.
"Mrs. Lilith!" Amelia answered.
"She is the Queen of Nocturne. Our Boss," Amelia said.
Morticia's eyes widened.
Tatevik kicked her in the stomach.
Morticia screamed.
"Your people touched her, and now you will pay with your life," Erisa said.
"I'm pregnant with Nikolai's child!" Morticia shouted.
The women laughed.
Zorina whispered into Amelia's ear.
"Girls, let's move. But first…"
She picked up a mallet.
She struck Morticia's legs.
Morticia screamed loudly.
"Oh, and you're looking for those two, right?" Madison said with a grin.
"Well, here they are."
Both Louis and Ember's battered bodies were dragged into the room.
Morticia trembled as they threw them down.
"That's for our Boss," Amelia said.
The women walked out.
Guns fired into the air as all their men fired their weapons.
Back at the hospital, Lilith slowly opened her eyes.
She saw everyone in the room.
She still had an oxygen mask over her face.
"Baby?" Nikolai whispered, holding her hands.
Her eyes became wet.
She pushed his hands away.
She began crying.
She hit him.
Then she removed her oxygen mask.
"GET OUT! I DON'T WANT TO SEE YOUR FACE AGAIN! I HATE YOU! I HATE YOU! WHY DID YOU MARRY ME AGAIN? WHY DID YOU BRING ME BACK?!" Lilith screamed.
She threw things at him.
She tried to walk.
Her legs gave way.
Farhan caught her immediately.
"TELL HIM TO GET OUTTTTTTTTT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Lilith screamed.
She was breathing heavily and crying.
Sarah immediately wrapped her arms around her.
"Shhhhh, Mhaira. It's okay. Calm down."
Nikolai held back his tears.
"Lily…" he whispered.
"Nick, just go outside for a while. We are here, okay? Please, child," Viktoria said.
Mr. William took Nikolai's hand.
"But…" Nikolai began.
"Come with me, Nick," Mr. William said.
He gently dragged him out.
Sarah continued rubbing Lilith's back.
Meanwhile, Nikolai returned home.
He packed Lily's bags and sent them to the hospital.
"Yes, sir," the maid replied.
Morticia walked toward him.
"You didn't tell me she's the Queen of Nocturne!" she said.
"ENOUGH!" Nikolai shouted.
"You should have died a long time ago. And now you crossed the line by beating my wife—my woman. You're lucky my unborn baby is fine. If not, God only knows whether you and your entire family would still be standing.
"I don't care if you have my money and properties.
"And now I will make you PAY!"
Nikolai pushed her away.
The maids began carrying Lily's bags.
"Hey! Where are those going?" Morticia demanded.
"To the hospital. Mrs. Lilith's bags," the maid answered.
"Open it!" Morticia ordered.
"Take them away now," Nikolai said.
"I SAID OPEN IT!" Morticia screamed.
Nikolai gave her a cold look.
"No, Madam. Excuse me," the maid said.
The guards took the bags and drove away.
"You're fired!" Morticia shouted.
The maid chuckled.
"Nobody wants to work for a hoe, so good luck," she said before walking away.
Morticia turned toward Nikolai.
"Nick, I am pregnant for you. I almost died when the group came. Our baby is growing," she said.
"I never lay with you, Morticia. And now don't spill nonsense," Nikolai replied.
He walked away.
Morticia watched him.
"Now get ready for the real thing," she said.
She typed on her phone and made a call.
"Find her and kill her," she ordered.
She smiled.
"Now I will be the Queen of Nocturne and your wife. You will have to marry me."
Behind the walls, The Apex Monstrosity listened.
He immediately texted someone from his third phone.
Get her out and leave the country before midnight.
Meanwhile, at the hospital, Lilith was placed into a wheelchair.
"We're getting you out of here, Boss," Nora said.
"W-Why?" Lilith asked.
"You're in danger," Erisa answered.
A group of other women entered.
"Is she ready?" the red-haired lady asked.
"Yes, Boss. We are leaving the country now. It's an order from the King of Kings. Let's get you out of here," Selena said.
They wheeled Lilith through the back entrance.
"N…Nikki?" Lilith whispered.
Her friends were waiting.
"Mila?" Lily asked.
"She's with her uncle. Remember, Boss?" Amelia said.
They gently placed Lilith into the van and strapped her safely into place.
The van drove away.
Inside the hospital, a group of men suddenly burst through the doors.
"WHERE IS SHE!?" they shouted.
They entered the room.
It was empty.
One of them grabbed a nurse by the neck.
"Where is the tiny patient who was here!?" he demanded.
"S-Some women took her away twenty minutes ago. They had guns," the nurse said.
He threw her away.
"Ma, they took her away," he said on a phone call.
"FIND THEM!" the woman on the other end ordered.
The men left.
But at the private airport, Lilith was already safe.
She lay on a bed inside a private plane.
The women carefully bathed her and changed her clothes into warmer clothing.
Her legs were still covered with bandages.
They made sure she was comfortable before securing her safely.
The engines started.
The private plane began moving down the runway.
Then it lifted into the night sky, carrying Lilith away from Russia—and away from everyone who had tried to destroy her.
For the first time since the nightmare began, she was finally being taken somewhere safe.
But Nikolai remained behind.
And he had no idea whether his tiny wife would ever forgive him.
