Noroi's POV
"So your cursed technique are slashes?" Yuuta asked me as we strolled through Jujutsu High.
"Salmon," Inumaki said in response.
"Basically," I said, walking towards their class.
"Wow… so cool," he said, looking at me with awe.
"Hehehe," I laughed, looking at him. "Hey Okkotsu, would you and your classmates go with me to grab a bite?" I said, looking at him.
"Huh? You want to go eat with us?" he asked, looking at me.
"Kelp." Inumaki just nodded in response to my question.
"Sure, and I'm sure that your other classmates will accept," I said, looking at him.
"Okay!" he said with a smile.
"Let's go ask," I said as I opened the sliding door.
"Yo, how did it go?" Panda asked, looking at us.
Maki just looked at us with a curious look.
"It was easy," I said with a thumbs up.
"Bonito flakes," Inumaki said, and Yuuta nodded.
"I'm glad," Panda said with a smile.
"Oi, you two want to come grab a bite with us after school?" I said, looking at them.
"Sure, but Noroi, I am a cursed doll. I'm not sure if I can go outside Jujutsu High," Panda said, a bit sad.
"Don't worry, I'll pick up the food and bring it here," I said, smiling at him.
"You would do that?" Panda asked, surprised.
"Why the surprise?" I asked him, confused.
"Thank you, Noroi," he said, hugging me.
"No problem," I said, patting his back before looking at Maki.
"Well, if you are bringing it here, I won't complain," Maki said, crossing her arms.
"Okay," I said with a thumbs up.
"But I need you to accompany me, Okkotsu," I said, looking towards Yuuta.
"Eh?! Me?" he said nervously.
"Yeah, I want someone to talk to on the way. Don't worry, we are going in a car," I said, looking at him.
"Okay," he replied shyly.
"Oh, and don't worry about the money. It's on me this time," I said to the students.
"Tuna," Inumaki said with gratitude.
"Thank you," Panda said with a smile.
"I don't need you to pay for my food," Maki said with a frown.
"I insist," I said to the girl.
She grunted but didn't reply.
"Are you sure, Noroi?" Yuuta asked me with hesitation.
"Yeah, let's go," I said while leaving the class.
"Wait!" Yuuta said, rushing to my side.
As we strolled through the halls of Jujutsu High, a voice interrupted our walk.
"Noroi," a feminine voice called for me.
I turned around, recognizing the voice.
"Shoko," I said, turning to Shoko with a smile.
She approached me and hugged me. "You don't come here often. I missed you," she said while hugging me.
"I have school to attend to, Shoko," I said, returning the embrace.
"I know," she said, pulling back and looking up at me.
I frowned slightly. "Are you sleeping? You have baggy eyes," I asked with concern.
"Don't worry, I'm okay," she said dismissively.
"What brings you here?" she asked, crossing her arms. "It isn't to visit me, I see," she said, looking at Yuuta.
Yuuta looked nervous and had an awkward smile on his face.
"Gojo called me and told me about the guy the higher-ups are so scared of, so I came to see him," I said, laughing slightly.
"I see," she said, looking at me. "Well, next time don't forget about me. Now I have to go," she said with a smile.
"Okay," I said, returning the smile.
As she left, I turned to look at Yuuta.
"Let's go," I said while resuming my walk.
"Okay," he said, following me. "Noroi, if I can ask, who is she?" he said nervously.
"She is the one that heals you if you are beaten half to death," I said, laughing slightly at his grimace. "You could call her the doctor of Jujutsu High," I said, smiling.
"I see…" he said, looking forward.
As we arrived at the gates of Jujutsu High, I called Kenji to come pick us up.
In just a few minutes, he appeared in front of us.
"Good morning, Noroi-sama," he said with a smile.
"Good morning, Kenji-san. This is a friend of mine. His name is Yuuta Okkotsu," I said with a smile.
"Friend?" Yuuta asked shyly.
"Aren't we friends?" I asked him, confused.
"I suppose we are…" Yuuta said with a little smile.
As we entered the car, I had a sudden realization.
"Well… I didn't ask what they wanted to eat," I said, embarrassed.
"Huh?" Yuuta replied, looking at me.
"Well, you choose what to eat, Okkotsu," I said, looking at him.
"Haah?! Me?!" he said nervously.
"Yeah, don't worry. They'll like whatever you choose," I said, reassuring him.
"Well… ramen is okay, I suppose," he said without much confidence.
"Well, Kenji-san, you heard the guy," I said with a little laugh.
"Of course, Noroi-sama. I know the perfect ramen restaurant," he said with a little laugh.
As he started driving, my gaze fell on Yuuta.
"Noroi?" he asked, a little nervous.
"Okkotsu, if I'm being sincere, you are interesting to me," I said, looking at him with a smile.
"You have a lot of cursed energy. You have half of mine, and I have the most cursed energy in Japan," I said with a hand on my chin. "And I'm curious about your cursed technique," I said, looking at him curiously.
"My cursed technique?" he said, looking at me. "Well… I don't know if it's mine or Rika's, but if Rika eats a part of a sorcerer's body, I can copy their technique and use it only when Rika is out," he said, a little nervous.
"Copy?" I asked curiously. "Hmm… I think I figured out your technique," I said after pondering for a while.
"Huh?" Yuuta said, confused. "But I just explained it to you."
"Yeah, but I understand the mechanics behind your technique," I said with a smile.
"Mechanics?" he asked, confused.
"Yeah. A sorcerer's brain is made to withstand one cursed technique at a time, so your cursed technique is copy. But to actually use it without frying your brain because of the multiple techniques, you store the cursed techniques in Rika's brain. And when you use it, Rika is able to transfer that cursed technique to you," I said with excitement.
"What an interesting cursed technique," I said, looking at him excitedly.
"Eh?" he said, still trying to process my words.
"You will discover more of it as you grow as a sorcerer," I replied, laughing slightly at his confusion.
"We arrived, Noroi-sama," Kenji said, stopping in front of the restaurant.
"Great. Wait for us here, Kenji-san," I replied as I left the car.
Yuuta followed behind, and as we entered, the place fell silent, and the waiter looked at me with fear as I approached him.
"Hey, I want to order takeaway food. Is it possible?" I asked the waiter.
"Y-yes, sir," he said, looking at me with fear.
"Well, I want a katsu ramen and… Okkotsu, what do you want?" I asked, looking at him.
"Well, I want a tonkotsu ramen," he said nervously because of all the stares we were receiving.
"Well, for Panda I will order a shoyu ramen, but don't put meat. Put only vegetables. And for Inumaki I think a shio ramen will be good for his throat. And for Maki, a miso ramen," I said to the waiter.
"R-right away," he said, rushing towards the kitchen.
In less than ten minutes, the waiter gave me the bag with the order. I paid for it and left with Yuuta.
"That they fear me has its advantages. The food was done right away," I said, laughing slightly.
"I guess," Yuuta said with hesitation.
As we entered the car, Kenji started driving towards Jujutsu High.
"Well, Okkotsu, you are interesting to me because we are similar," I said, my tone softening as I looked at him.
"?" Yuuta looked at me with curiosity.
"Well, when I was three, I was put into a trial to decide if they were turning me into a weapon or executing me," I said, looking outside the window.
"Oh… I see," Yuuta said, looking down at his hands.
"Hey, but don't worry. I'm still alive after all," I said, smiling at him.
He turned to look at me with a smile. "Yeah."
As we arrived at Jujutsu High, I said goodbye to Kenji before entering.
We arrived at the classroom, and I opened the door.
"Well, got ramen," I said, looking at the three of them.
"Ramen?! Yeah!" Panda said cheerfully.
"Bonito flakes," Inumaki said.
"You didn't ask what food we wanted," Maki said with a frown.
"I forgot," I said, embarrassed.
We put all the desks together and sat down to eat there.
As I opened the bag, I started giving them the broth and the ingredients with their chopsticks.
We all poured the noodles and the ingredients into the hot broth.
"Noroi, you remembered that pandas are herbivorous!" he said with a smile, looking at the ingredients.
"Of course," I replied with a smile.
As we started eating and chatting, Gojo entered the room.
"Huh? You are eating ramen and didn't invite me?!" he said, looking at us with surprise.
"I thought you returned home," I replied, looking at him.
"You punk! You should have called me!" he yelled.
"Here, take some of mine," I said, looking at him with a smile.
"Take some of mine too, Gojo-sensei," Yuuta said with a smile.
"Salmon," Inumaki said as he offered some of his too.
"Come, Gojo-sensei. I will share too," Panda said cheerfully.
"I suppose I can share too," Maki said with a little frown.
"Guys…" Gojo said with a smile. "Ah! I knew my well-behaved students would share with me," he said proudly.
"Stop spouting nonsense and come sit," I said, looking at him, offering a seat.
As he sat down, we all let him have a bit of our ramen.
Geto's POV
I remained seated in my usual seat where people came to have curses removed from them.
"I didn't expect to see my dear brother with Okkotsu, but I suppose they had similar situations, so it's normal for him to want to meet him," I thought while thinking about the conversation I just had with my family.
"It's decided then. In a week I will visit Jujutsu High. I expect Noroi to be there so I can introduce him to our family," I muttered, thinking about how much he has grown after all these years.
"Geto, you have clients," the voice of a woman interrupted my thoughts as she let a man with a curse on his back enter.
"Okay," I said with a smile.
"I have to deal with more monkeys. What a drag," I thought, annoyed. "Well, I'm looking forward to seeing you again, Noroi," I thought with a genuine smile.
Noroi's POV
As I finished eating, I stood up to leave.
"Well, it's a pleasure meeting y'all, but I have some matters to attend to," I said with a smile, looking at them. "I will come to visit sometimes," I said, waving goodbye to them.
"Thank you for the food, Noroi," Yuuta said with a smile.
"Thank you for bringing it here, Noroi," Panda said with a smile.
"Kelp," Inumaki said with gratitude.
"Thanks," Maki said with a little smile.
"Goodbye, Noroi," Gojo said with a wave and a smile.
"Goodbye," I said, smiling at them before getting out of the classroom to head out.
As I strolled through the halls of Jujutsu High, I encountered someone I didn't expect to meet.
"Yo, Hakari," I said, looking at the blonde second-year student that was talking with a black-haired girl.
"Yo! Noroi, you don't come here often. What brings you here?" he said with a smile, turning to look at me.
"I came to see the new transfer student," I said to him, smiling.
"The cursed one?" he asked with a grin.
"Yeah," I replied, looking at him.
"Hello, Noroi," Kirara smiled, waving at me.
"Yo, Kirara," I replied, looking at her.
"Noroi, when are we going to spar again? I need to feel that fever, ya know," Hakari said, looking at me with a challenging grin.
"Today is not the day. I need to do something," I replied, looking at the clock on the wall. "But someday we'll spar again," I replied with a smile.
"I'll hold you to that," he said with a grin before waving goodbye at me.
"Goodbye, Noroi," Kirara said, waving at me.
"Goodbye," I said while resuming my path.
As I left Jujutsu High, I called Kenji and told him I needed a ride to the hospital.
He arrived in five minutes and we took off.
After arriving, I received a call from Tsumiki.
"Noroi, when are you coming home?" she asked worriedly.
"In an hour or so," I replied while entering the hospital.
"Okay, when you come home I have something I want to do with you," she said cheerfully.
"And what would that be?" I asked her with curiosity as the receptionist gave a thumbs up when I signaled her I was going up to visit Akari.
"It's a surprise," she said with a giggle.
"Can't you tell me?" I asked with curiosity as I took the elevator.
"No," she giggled a little at my impatience. "If I tell you, it wouldn't be a surprise anymore."
"Yeah, whatever," I said with a smile when the elevator stopped at the floor I was going to.
"I have to hang up," I said as I approached Akari's room.
"Okay," she said softly.
"Goodbye," I said.
"Goodbye," she replied as I hung up the phone, entering Akari's room.
"Noroi, is that you?" Akari asked hopefully as I entered the room.
"Yeah, it's me," I said, smiling softly.
"Come here, dear boy," she said as I approached to hug her.
"Have you bought food for me?" she whispered to me with hope.
"Not this time," I replied.
Her face fell and all hope vanished from her tone. "I can't eat the food they give here. It's awful," Akari said, complaining.
I laughed slightly at her complaints but decided to keep talking with her.
After an hour of keeping her company, the nurse from yesterday entered the room.
"Noroi, did you give her food?" she asked with suspicion.
"Not this time," I said, looking at her with a smile.
"Hmmm…." she said, looking at me with suspicion.
"Hey, it's the truth," I said nervously under her gaze.
"I will believe you, but visiting time is over," she said with a smile, looking at me.
"Okay," I replied, looking at her. "Akari-san, I'll come tomorrow," I promised to her as I was about to leave.
"Noroi, don't let her feed me that horrendous food," Akari said pleadingly.
I laughed lightly before saying my goodbyes.
"See you tomorrow," I replied with a smile.
"Okay," she said, deflated.
"C'mon, Akari-san, the food isn't that bad," the nurse tried reasoning with Akari.
"If you lie, you will go to hell when you die," Akari said seriously.
I laughed a little before leaving the room.
As I left the hospital, Kenji was already waiting for me.
"Kenji-san, drive me home please," I said tiredly.
"Of course, Noroi-sama. It seems you had a busy day today," he said, looking at me with a smile.
"Yeah, it was quite tiring," I said, looking outside the window while he drove.
When we arrived at the building, I thanked Kenji and started walking towards the building.
After taking the elevator, I arrived in front of my apartment door.
After entering, I noticed Tsumiki lying on the sofa waiting for me.
"Welcome home," she said, standing up.
"Hello," I said, looking at her with a smile. "So what's that you wanted to do with me?" I asked curiously.
"Well…." Her cheeks reddened a bit. "I wanted to practice dancing with you," she said, a little flustered.
"Oh. Okay," I replied with a smile. "But I've never danced in my life," I said, looking a little embarrassed.
"Me neither," she said with a smile as she approached the CD player we had and grabbed the CD with Golden Brown on it.
As the music started playing, she approached me with a nervous look.
We started dancing clumsily to the rhythm of the music.
But as the music continued, our dancing became less clumsy and started to feel natural. We laughed as we danced, our hands intertwined.
As I looked at her smiling face, I blushed a little, taking notice of all her features and how beautiful she was.
I was mesmerized by her beauty. A strange feeling started gathering in my stomach and my heartbeat increased.
As the music ended, I hugged her and we laughed a bit.
"You weren't that bad," I said, holding her against my chest.
"I should be the one telling you that," she said, looking up at me.
We kept staring at each other for a while. I blushed and she blushed, and we started approaching each other.
But as we were inches apart, a sudden sound made us pull back.
"What are you two doing? You are so noisy," Megumi complained, opening his room's door.
We pulled back from the hug with a blush.
"Nothing," I said dismissively.
"Y-yeah," Tsumiki said, looking at Megumi.
"Hmmm…." he said suspiciously, looking at our red faces before getting back into his room.
I looked at Tsumiki. "Well, I'm going to rest now," I said, a bit nervous.
"O-okay," she said, a bit flustered before walking towards her room.
As I looked at her closing the door, I decided to take a shower before going to my room.
As I entered the bathroom, I looked at myself in the mirror before undressing and going into the shower.
"Well… that was unexpected," I muttered while the water hit my body.
