We lay in the cold dark uncertain what would be coming for us next. I tell Hielgar "we should explore the cave to see if there is anything in here except us." Hielgar agrees "Yea we don't know what may be down here, hopefully nothing worse than that dragon." Hielgar says as he gets up, I look around the area only to see some parts of the cave, spider webs, large pieces of rocks laying down, and only seeing parts of the cave due to there being no lighting, except from the entrance of the cave. "Woah it's so echoey in here" Hielgar shouts as he gets up, "Shh! Be quiet you don't know what could be down here" I whisper to Hielgar. "Oh come on what could be worse than a fire breathing dragon that just chased us" Hielgar exclaims as he walks forward into the unknown darkness, then it hit me we had to get out of the cave before school starts! Hielgar! Hielgar! we need to find a way out or we're going to be grounded! Oh yeah and get swallowed by a dragon, have you lost your mind? We can't risk going out there knowing where the dragon is now. You can go out there again, and risk being killed if you really think you can run away from it. I glanced back at the cave entrance one more time before stepping into the unknown. We both walked, holding each other's hand tightly in order to not lose each other. The cave is pitch black, the sound of water drops echoing the cave, we stubble on rocks and hit walls occasionally while feeling around the walls of the cave. "Hielgar" I say, "What if we get lost?" "Don't worry, I mapped out the entire cave in my head. So all you have to do is hold onto my hands, and I will do the feeling." Hielgar says while dragging his hand across the cave walls. I felt a bit safer knowing my big brother said he knew what he was doing. The longer we walked the more the cave started to feel more constraining, it felt as if the cave was shrinking, our voices felt quieter. We seemed lost for a moment, "Hielgar we have been walking for a long time I don't think we're getting anywhere let's head back." "No, I can feel it. We're getting near an exit," "No, man the walls are literally caving in on us, let's head back and wait until the dragon leaves." "No, that dragon won't leave, certainly not until days past." "What are you talking about?" I've heard before in this dragon guide book, it says a dragon won't leave its prey for days until it loses interest." "So, we would have to wait for days," "so? How do you know that's for a fact, What if the dragon did lost interest in us and we been wasting our entire time in this cave?" "Do you want to become dragons food? Well then go on. Go by yourself to see if you're on the menu because I'm sure as hell not going out the cave entrance!" "Well fine then! And when you hit a dead end don't act like I didn't warn you!" Then Levan and Hielgar both went their own ways. Dang it, I don't know the path I've been clinging onto my brother for help. But I don't need him anymore. I can do this myself I just have to feel my way. Stupid, immature brother doesn't know anything about dragons and when i find the exit I'm going to escape and call him a stupid butt face for not believing in me. All of a sudden Hielgar lets out an agonizing scream sending echos throughout the cave. What was that Levan looks around trying to locate the sound. It sounded like Hielgar! But I warned him that we should have went back up the cave. No, what am I saying he's my brother! Hielgar I'm coming for you! Levan yells as he rushes down the cave. Levan rushes down the cave despite what he said, he collides with rocks multiple times, he trips and land on his face but despite the difficult challenge of not knowing where he was going he had to save his brother! The lower Levan goes though the harder the challenges seem. He had to climb over boulders, squeeze through extremely tight spots, and the cave grew bigger as if it was swallowing him. He crawled on his belly feeling the rock scratch his skin, then soon he felt a cold touch. Water, he kept crawling but it felt harder to breathe yet he still pushed. He had to save his brother, Levan yells out Hielgar's name but this time there was no response. Levan scurry through the hole and finally is able to stand barley with the roof touching his head. "Hielgar!" Levan yells, still no response. "Hielgar!" yet not a single sound except for the sound of water running and bats flapping their wings. At that moment Levan fell down to his knees hopeless. At that moment he wish he was right at home, eating hamburgers, laying on his bed, and most importantly seeing his brother. I layed my back against the hard stone wall, sitting down while crying tears to myself, feeling sorry for what I said to my brother. now I'm trapped stuck in here forever, *Tap* Your brother is fine there's no need to worry a voice suddenly came from my right shoulder.
