Participated in the defense of Greenford Keep during the incursion of Marcher rebels, credited with rallying scattered men and repelling multiple assaults.
Named to the Kingsguard in his 24th year by King Jaehaerys III Blackfyre of House Blackfyre as the replacement for the late Ser Gawen Swann.
