Night was already up, night even almost midnight, the blood moon was over the waters of the lake, a change on the stillness, Jane stood alongside Laurel, she was using a boat while Jane walked on the water, a small magic trick she has learned around 2000 years ago.
They went into the island in silence, Jane expressionless beautiful face had a small bit of anticipation, her body was tensing with a feeling she hasn't felt in hundreds of years, a feeling she may find a challenge in that island.

...
Wednesday and Dante were outside of the crypt, in maybe 30 minutes was 12am, they've reached the limit to stay out, with the exception of Dante, everyone needed sleep.
But as soon as Dante closed the door, both Wednesday and Dante head rose up, a feeling of overwhelming magic relishing the island, like someone made a hole in a dam.
They saw three figures approaching, the same woman who they saw, in a black suit like she was prepared for special occasion, next to her, Laurel, or how Wednesday and Dante knew her, Ms.Thornhill, carrying a backpack.
"The prettiest the plant the more dangerous..." Wednesday said as her eyes closed seeing Thornhill.
"Who would say the only normie in Nevermore it's the one who seeks it's destruction." Wednesday said.
"It's my inherent right, you're the ones staining ground that belongs to me."
Jane and Dante ignored the women speaking next to them, they exchanged looks, they couldn't get their eyes off eachother.
The only difference between one and the other seemed only a gender one, all of their physical traits looked the same; there wasn't a thing that they weren't alike.
"Jane." The woman said, a flat presentation as the woman crept a small smile.
"Long time no see..." Dante said as he took a step foward.
"We can do this quite easily Dante, I just need to get pregnant from you and we van go our separate ways..." Jane said with a small smile on her lips.
Dante face instantly turned into a grim one, he saw how natural the woman said it, it wasn't a bad joke, she was serious this time, that made the boy even more confused.
"You..." Wednesday looked at Jane, her eyes had hatred after what she just said, she already thought someone like Dante but without Dante's love for life would be maybe a horrible living being, she just confirmed that.
"Wednesday." Dante put his hand over her shoulder stopping her.
"Stick to what we said." With that, Wednesday seemed to hate what she agreed earlier, but still took a step back.
"Stand aside." Jane said towards Laurel, which obediently took some steps back.
Jane and Dante looked at eachother, and then they walked foward, just 2 meters separating them.
"Brother, I'll explain it to you, and then maybe you'll do this easy to me..."
"Each generation of inmortals come in a pair, girl and boy, both have the same genetics to the smallest of all details, and with the purpose of, after hundreds of years, one would take the other by force, after the girl is pregnant, a cycle of new inmortals come, and the others start to actually age." Jane explained with simple words, but that didn't make things better for her as Dante and Wednesday looked at her with a mix of hate and confusion.
Dante's face was one almost pleading "We can die that way..." He said, and his eyes instantly widened in realization.
"You killed my mother! That woman was my mother!" Dante yelled accusing with his finger pointing at her, a feeling of hatred running inside of him like blood.
Jane smiled widened as she raised her arms up like she was just caught in the act of stealing.
"Guilty."
"I would never give you anything from me!" Dante yelled.
Jane looked down as her hands fell at her sides, she took a small breath, one that seemed to stop time.
"So be it."
With that, with a speed Dante couldn't even react, he was smashed against the crypt like he was a puppet.
His destroyed body healed back in seconds, and Jane was already over him with her hand raised, he was crushed down again, the pressure of Jane punch was obviously held by her, but even so, Dante felt how he his organs couldn't stand the blow before they exploded inside of him.
"Pulsus!" Wednesday yelled as she raised her hand towards Jane in an attempt to push her aside and give Dante at least 1 second to breath.
Jane only looked at her direction, palm raised as Wednesday spell was redirected at her, sending her flying until she hit a tree.
Jane looked back at Laurel, who understood the message and entered Crackstone Crypt.
"No..." Dante muttered as tried hitting Jane on her side.
The woman took the hit with ease, not because she knew she'd heal from it like the inmortal she is, because the punch barely even made her move an inch.
Jane didn't wait as she lunged a kick towards Dante's face, but he seemed to already predict an attack as he dodged sideways, the kick opening a hole in the Crypt.
Dante turned towards the hole and almost went inside before he was caught by Jane, who kept in between her arms in a chokehold as he couldn't do anything but watch Laurel.
She took a vial of blood from her pocket, Dante could only recognize the vial as the ones they used to test their blood, and suddenly he realized.
"A key..." He remembered the words Wednesday said, how she was the key to something.
Dante struggled more aggressively as he realized what was about to happen.
"Let go you bitch!" He yelled as he watched Laurel spill the blood on the sarcophagus.
The woman then took a book from inside her coat and started reading from a page, words in Latin spoken as he saw something from her backpack started moving.
The backpack opened like magic and a bottle rose in the hair, Dante's heart inside started to move erratically as it hovered over the sarcophagus.
The sarcophagus started pouring gray thick smoke like dust, all of it pouring around the heart blinding anyone from watching what was happening.
The smoke started to dissipate and there he was, a macabre version of Crackstone standing with a sinister grin, his skin was gray and rotten, his teeth where yellow, a tint of actual life lingering from his chest to his limbs, creeping until it hit his gray neck, surely Dante's heart working overload to make the body stay together as it was the only actual part used in the ritual.
"Well I've never seen such bad resurrection in hundreds..." Jane whispered towards Dante's ear as she dropped him.
15 minutes until tomorrow.
Jane saw how Crackstone followed by Laurel left the scene, the only place possible was now obviously going to get attacked by the strange combination of a regular normie with an inmortal's heart and dark magic.
Dante saw over how Wednesday finally started to regain consciousness, he was about to go towards her before he was grabbed by the neck by Jane's hand.
He struggled as no matter hoe much strength he put into it he couldn't release himself.
Wednesday stood up, already preparing to attack again.
"Stop!" Dante yelled towards Wednesday who looked at him confused.
"Crackstone's alive again! They're going to Nevermore!" Dante yelled pointing towards the lake, Wednesday looked like she was about to lash out a spell.
She looked at Jane's calm demeanor and decided what the best option was.
"Don't you dare die! If you die I'll kill you!" Wednesday yelled before running towards the dock of the island.
"It's you and me alone..." Jane said, finally letting go of Dante who turned to see her, his eyes shot in blood.
"How threatening... make it past 15 and I'll say you did best than anyone before..." Jane said as she kicked him.
Dante was sent flying towards the same tree Wednesday was, and even after feeling the strongest of all hits he has taken, he was sure of something.
'She's not even fighting...' Dante thought as he stood up, his mind working different ways to fight her.
Turning the fight could be possible, possible with an Immense amount of luck, or skill, depending how good he uses his cards, he could almost just give up and give her what she wants, but the problem would be that after giving her that, she hasn't even guaranteed she wouldn't harm anyone.
'And even if I gave her my virginity and she lost her immortality, I don't believe it would be possible to harm her enough to die, worse, I'd also lose my immortality so she'd kill right away...'
Left with no choice but the first one, he got into a stance, waiting for Jane to move first.
The woman wasn't one of patience, she has already waited hundreds of years for this moment, and the last 13 minutes were already making her feel anticipation like crazy.
She lunged with the same blinding speed, Dante barely moved aside as he prepared to stick to his plan.
"To!"
'That so?' Jane thought as she looked at him with almost a disappointed look. 'A single perfect hit like that may harm her, but if that's his winning card...'
"Ni!"
"Trus!" He yelled as he hit her side, the perfect punch barely making damage on her skin, his hand even took more as it's skin peeled off and came back.
"That's all?" Jane asked, electricity sparked around, bits of magic that Dante's really bad output could put into his blow.
"You use magic worse than babies..." Jane said as she tried punching Dante's chest, but strangely.
He dodged.
"To!"
"Ni!"
"Trus!" He yelled once again, hitting Jane on her other side, but this time was different, he moved faster, his chant became better and the magic that before puffed around was now more concentrated into the punch.
'Clever shit...' Jane thought, a smile creeping on her face as she realized Dante's plan.
"But then I won't allow it so easily!" She yelled, her earlier compliance to see Dante's plan brushed away as she let some of her stop holding up.
She instantly raised her hand, impaling the boy on the chest as she raised him, her other other coming with incredible speed.
The punch wasn't one made to kill, more one to create damage as he was sent flying, the so powerful he flew over the lake like it was nothing, thankfully he was sent towards the other side rather than toward Nevermore.
"Shit... she realized..." He muttered, but before he could even start thinking again his brain was spilled on the ground by Jane's hands.
His head came back 1.3 seconds later and he quickly made a sweep with his leg, Jane started to fall and almost like it was slowing time.
"To!"
"Ni!" He raised his leg in the air as spark erupted from the tip of his shoe.
"Trus!" He struck down on her back, the electricity once again concentrated into the blow with more ease, the kick felt stronger and faster, and it was.
Dante's idea was to increase his magic output, exponentially strengthening his body and senses as the faster he was, the easier it is to land a perfect tonitrus, his only way to match her strength.
He felt the sensation of magic running through him, the flow of magic grew fluid as it felt like the magic was running alongside his blood.
Jane stood up instantly, and before she actually was able to react he did it once again, normally a perfect tonitrus would work with time and perfect stances.
But the better the output the more he could stretch himself out, his positioning was better as his brain worked faster thanks to magic working like the electricity in his brain, sending the signals faster.
"Trus!" Jane's eyes widened open as she realized Dante's plan wasn't working, it already worked, as he already was twice stronger and faster than he was originally.
The electricity in his punch also improved, the entirety of it was finally completely hitting her, the electricity stunning her body instead of flying everywhere around.
"To!"
"Ni!"
"Trus!" Dante yelled again again as he couldn't stop, even when his hands blew as soon as he hit Jane, he started to feel how his punches actually started to do damage.
But surprisingly, as he looked at Jane's face, he only saw a smile from ear to ear.
"Finally!" She yelled as she punched back, Dante felt the immense power of her punch without holding back, his chest didn't offer resistance as her punch went through him, but minutes before he would just stay there, only able to even feel the pain.
Now he didn't even care as he did the same.
"To!"
"Ni"
"Trus!" He yelled, now he was pouring immense amount of magic into each punch, his punch broke her ribs, but this time the electricity didn't come from his punch.
A lightning fell from the sky, striking Jane right where his punch is.
He was finally scrapping the surface of Wednesday's magic output, and Jane was finally finding a worthy opponent afters years of longing for emotion.
