Chapter 38 - Chapter 72-73

Chapter 72 – The Calvin Klein Invitation

The sun was shining in Los Angeles when Jacob Stewart woke up that morning. After the resounding success of the Armani campaign, he knew his presence in the fashion world had been elevated to another level.

Wearing only gray sweatpants and no shirt, he went down to the kitchen of his Beverly Hills home, where his dog, Lucky, was already waiting for him, wagging his tail.

"Good morning, partner." He bent down and petted the Labrador's head.

While preparing a black coffee, his cell phone rang. On the screen, the name Richard Calloway, his trusted agent.

"Hey, Richard. Waking up this early, why?"

"Jacob, are you sitting down?"

Jacob smiled and leaned against the counter.

"This sounds interesting... Go for it."

"Calvin Klein wants you."

Jacob frowned.

"What do you mean?"

"They want you to be the next face of the brand." Jacob was silent for a few seconds. Calvin Klein was one of the biggest brands in the world, known for iconic campaigns and for working only with the biggest names in fashion and entertainment.

"Richard, this isn't just a campaign, is it?"

"No. They want you to be a global brand ambassador. That means clothing campaigns, perfumes, events, and a multimillion-dollar contract."

Jacob raised his eyebrows.

"How much are we talking about?"

"Something between 10 and 15 million dollars a year."

He whistled, impressed.

"And what do I need to do?"

"To start, we'll have a meeting with Calvin Klein's creative directors tomorrow. They want to formally present you with the proposal."

Jacob picked up his coffee and took a sip, feeling the weight of the opportunity.

"Then we'll meet tomorrow, Richard. I'm in."

The next day, Jacob arrived at the skyscraper where Calvin Klein's headquarters were located in Los Angeles. He entered the meeting room, where Richard Calloway, the global marketing director, Charlotte Langley, and the brand's creative director, Marc Donovan, were already present.

Charlotte was the first to speak.

"Jacob, first of all, congratulations on the Armani campaign. You were simply spectacular."

Jacob smiled.

"Thank you very much. It was an incredible experience."

Marc then took the floor.

"But now we want you to bring that presence to Calvin Klein."

He opened a folder on the table and showed some concept images.

"The idea is something bold, modern, but classic at the same time. You won't just be a model for the campaigns. We want you to be a brand icon, just like David Beckham and Mark Wahlberg were in the past."

Jacob analyzed the images. Some showed him in formal attire, others just in jeans and a t-shirt, and some daring ones, just in his underwear.

"So you want me to go down in Calvin Klein history?"

Charlotte smiled.

"Exactly."

Richard then joined the conversation.

"In addition, Jacob, the contract includes an exclusive line of products with your name. Perfumes, clothes, and even accessories."

Jacob nodded, impressed.

"That's big."

Marc laughed.

"That's huge."

Charlotte then slid an envelope to Jacob.

"Here are the figures and conditions. We're offering $12 million a year, with the possibility of extension."

Jacob took the envelope, looked at Richard, and smiled.

"So, when do we start?"

Days later, Jacob was in a photography studio in New York, ready for the Calvin Klein photoshoot.

The renowned photographer Steven Klein was responsible for the shots.

Jacob wore only jeans, his bare torso displaying his athletic physique. The setting was minimalist, a gray background and soft lights that highlighted the contours of his body.

Steven adjusted the camera. "Okay, Jacob, I want you to relax. No forcing poses. Just look at the camera like you're telling someone a secret."

Jacob took a deep breath and did exactly that.

The sound of the clicks filled the studio.

"Perfect! Now, take off your jacket. I want something more raw, more real."

Jacob took off his jacket and was left only in his Calvin Klein underwear, the brand visible through the elastic.

Steven smiled.

"Now that's more like it. That's Calvin Klein."

The campaign captured the essence of strength, masculinity, and sensuality, characteristics that the brand has always sought in its models.

When the session ended, Steven showed some photos on the monitor.

Jacob smiled at the result.

"This is going to make an impact."

Steven crossed his arms and nodded.

"It's going to break the internet, my friend."

Months later, Calvin Klein revealed the first images of the campaign.

Social media exploded.

Calvin Klein's Instagram:

"The new face of Calvin Klein. @JacobStewart redefines what it means to be a modern icon. #MyCalvins"

Twitter:

@FashionElite:

"Jacob Stewart has entered the pantheon of iconic Calvin Klein campaigns. ABSOLUTELY."

@GQMagazine:

"Welcome to the club of greats, Jacob."

The campaign commercial aired during prime time on TV and on digital platforms.

In it, Jacob walked through a minimalist loft, wearing only jeans and Calvin Klein underwear. The camera captured his intense gaze and confident posture while a narration said:

"Because confidence isn't something you wear. It's something you're born with."

The impact was immediate.

The campaign broke engagement records, and Jacob was officially announced as a Global Ambassador for Calvin Klein.

He received messages from several friends.

Leonardo DiCaprio:

"Welcome to the stylish guys club, my brother."

The Rock:

"If you keep this up, they'll have to make a statue of you."

Jacob laughed as he read the comments.

He knew he was experiencing a unique moment in his career.

And that was just the beginning.

Chapter 73 – The Internet on Fire

The Calvin Klein campaign starring Jacob Stewart was officially launched and, within hours, the internet was ablaze.

Social media was flooded with comments, memes, and edits of photos of Jacob wearing only Calvin Klein underwear.

Fans were obsessed.

Twitter exploding

The hashtag #JacobStewartMyCalvins reached Global Trending Topics in less than three hours.

@FanGirl_Jacob:

"I just wish I was that Calvin Klein underwear. Is that too much to ask?"

@HotForJacob:

"Can someone explain to me how this man exists in real life??? THIS IS NOT FAIR!!"

@Sarah_LovesMovies:

"I opened my Twitter and was attacked by ABS and a certain volume that DID NOT GO UNNOTICED."

@DreamingOfJacob:

"He's got abs, he's got talent, he's got charisma… WHAT ELSE IS THIS MAN GOING TO DO TO MAKE ME FALL IN LOVE?!"

@CKObsessed:

"Let's talk about the new Calvin Klein campaign. More specifically… about that bulge."

On TikTok, fans were going crazy, recreating the campaign poses and reacting to Jacob's photos.

@ThirstyLadiesClub: (A video of several friends freaking out together upon seeing the photos)

— "WE WEREN'T PREPARED FOR THIS!"

The video accumulated 2 million likes in a few hours.

Another user posted a video simply zooming in on the image of the bulge in Jacob's underwear while playing Marvin Gaye's "Let's Get It On".

In the comments:

@SexyAndIKnowIt:

"My brother, did he hide a microphone in there?"

@Ck_Admirer:

"This man needs to be studied by NASA."

Even celebrities joined in the fun.

Rihanna, who had previously worked with Jacob on projects, commented on Calvin Klein's Instagram:

"So this is how we're going to start the day? Without warning? Okay, Jacob, I see you."

Kim Kardashian posted on Twitter:

"Jacob Stewart in Calvin Klein? I get it, women of the world. I get it."

And then came one of the most iconic moments: Madonna reposted one of the campaign photos on Instagram with the caption:

"Blessed is he who wears these briefs."

Jacob, seeing all this, burst out laughing.

Sitting on the sofa in his Los Angeles home, Jacob scrolled through his Twitter feed and laughed at the comments.

He was wearing a black sweatshirt, his hair a little messy, holding a mug of coffee while reading the posts.

Richard Calloway, his agent, called him.

"Jacob, do you have any idea what just happened?"

Jacob laughed.

"I think so. My Twitter turned into a screaming and meme-filled show."

Richard chuckled.

"Man, Calvin Klein has never had this level of engagement with a campaign. I just got a call from them saying that underwear sales increased by 300% in one day."

Jacob raised his eyebrows.

"300%?!"

"Yes! And guess what? The Calvin Klein line you're wearing in the campaign sold out in less than 12 hours!"

Jacob laughed and scratched the back of his neck.

"So you mean there are a lot of people out there wearing the same underwear as me?"

Richard let out a loud laugh.

"Exactly!"

Jacob grabbed his phone and tweeted jokingly about the situation:

@JacobStewart:

"So… looks like the Calvin Klein underwear is sold out? Good to know we're all matching."

The tweet received over 2 million likes in less than an hour.

Calvin Klein stores were packed.

In malls in New York, Los Angeles, London, and Paris, fans rushed to buy the underwear Jacob wore in the campaign.

A 23-year-old fan named Emily Carter was interviewed on a TV show while holding several packages of Calvin Klein underwear.

— Reporter: "Emily, who did you buy all this for?"

She laughed and replied without hesitation:

— "For myself. I don't have a boyfriend, but now I have underwear just like Jacob Stewart's."

Another fan, Michael Rodriguez, said:

— "I've never bought Calvin Klein before, but now? If Jacob Stewart wears it, I wear it."

Images of the packed stores circulated around the world, proving that Jacob Stewart was now a phenomenon not only in film but also in fashion.

In the following days, talk shows and radio programs commented on the campaign.

On The Tonight Show, Jimmy Fallon opened the show holding one of Jacob's photos.

— Jimmy Fallon: "Ladies and gentlemen, we have to talk about THIS. Can someone tell me HOW a human being can look like this?!"

The audience erupted in cheers and applause.

Then, he looked at the camera and joked:

— "Jacob, if you're watching… dude, give me your workout routine, please."

On another show, Ellen DeGeneres brought the photo to the screen and said:

— Ellen: "Now tell me, did ANYONE on this planet expect to WAKE UP and see THIS on their timeline? Because I definitely didn't. But I'm grateful!"

After seeing all the reactions, Jacob decided to record a video for Instagram Stories.

He was sitting in his garden, wearing a tight white t-shirt and a backwards baseball cap.

— "So… I woke up today and I discovered that the world is talking about underwear. More specifically, about me in underwear. Well, I won't lie… I never thought I'd be in the same conversations as David Beckham and Mark Wahlberg, but here we are."

He smiled and winked at the camera.

"And for those who sold out of Calvin Kleins… I hope you're comfortable."

He chuckled and ended the video.

The story immediately went viral.

Jacob Stewart was no longer just an award-winning actor.

He was now a pop culture icon, a symbol of style, masculinity, and charisma.

Women were going crazy. Men wanted to be like him.

And Calvin Klein?

They were making millions from the perfect choice of their new ambassador.

And Jacob?

Well… he was having a lot of fun with it all.
