--Early morning | Wednesday--
A very similar morning to the previous one before occurred. Ember and Jack came down but this time she was clinging to his back and rubbing her face into his neck. A small smile settled on Kalawarna's face after seeing this, slowly becoming less afraid of the fire woman. Mittlet was still scared of Ember, but has grown accustomed to her presence whenever she isn't with Jack.
Kalawarna had already set Jack's food on the table and was about to feed him when he held up his hand saying "Stop Kalawarna, you can stop feeding me. I can very well feed myself." She was a bit disappointed but nodded anyway and let him feed himself this time. As He ate Jack started thinking about how fast things had changed these past few days.
Starting off with the start of canon, Raynare is already dead ahead of time, Kalawarna and Mittlet is his maids, and Dohnaseek is brainwashed into his spy. Issei didn't die so he's still human, but still might become a devil. The orc now knows more about him and his abilities. And he found out he's a vampire of royal blood, which was why his sanity had been on the decline without blood. He didn't know how bad it got compared to how bad it could've gotten, and he wasn't looking to find out. Aika has become more possessive of him, which he actually enjoyed, but it definitely felt sudden. And finally his sudden increase in combat ability with the new skills he got in the past few days.
He was happy that things have slowed down again but he definitely wanted a fight and was hoping to get a new dungeon or something from the roulette on Friday. He was getting ready to head towards Kuoh when the system popped up in his face. [Hello again host!] Jack was somewhat surprised as since the beginning he believed his system an unintelligent one. 'Hi?' Jack responded hesitantly.
[I have detected that the user is bored and would like some action, correct?] Jack blinked for a few moments before nodding. [Then allow me to help. I shall add a sudo world-jump feature for the host. It will generate quests in other worlds for the host, but cannot be lived in. Each quest will have a timer set, and if run out the host will return here. Some quests or worlds that require a lot of time will have origin world frozen due to time requirements]
Jack was surprised but was equally happy as now he could grow stronger quickly. [Would host like a otherworld quest?] Jack nodded again and a new screen popped up again.

Jack was so happy he could laugh, but he didn't want to seem like a crazy person as he just arrived at school. Jack immediately headed for the student council office and knocked on the door, being welcomed in by Tsubaki, and seeing Sone doing paperwork. Two members of her peerage was here this time, that being Momo Hanikai and Ruruko Nimura. Momo is a young, beautiful girl with white hair and blue-green eyes. She mostly wears a Kuoh Academy girl's school uniform. Ruruko is a short girl with brown hair in long twin ponytails and green eyes. She wears a pair of green clips in her hair, the kuoh academy girl's uniform, and she also wears striped green stockings.
Jack immediately spoke up to Sona "Sona can I ask for leave for the rest of the week?" Sona looked up at Jack and asked "And why do you need this time?" Jack before answering that asked Sone something else "Has Rias already told you about me?" Sona nodded at that and Jack sighed in relief, he then replied "I found a good way to train and wanted to make some progress. I just need 72 hours" Sona looked Jack in the face unable to see his eyes as they were back behind bandages. After a few minutes Sona nodded "Very well. You may take the rest of this week off. But, only if you beat me in chess"
Sona pushed up her glasses and had Tsubaki set up a chess board for them. Jack was cursing at that because he'd no doubt lose, but had one idea that might work. "I'm sorry Sona but my mind is currently a little all over the place. I'll need some blood to concentrate, do you mind if I go and get some first?" Jack was chanting in his mind 'Please say yes, please say yes!'
Sona looked at Jack and seeing him fidget believing it to be due to his problem. She shook her head "No. If any blood will do, here" Sona held out her arm and watched Jack carefully. Jack while not getting what he wanted, wouldn't deny this was an equally as good outcome. "Are you sure Sona?" He got a nod in turn and didn't wait any longer and bit her wrist.

Jack immediately chose to get the skill points and stat points before getting both [Chess grandmaster] and [Genius intellect(A)]. He quickly skimmed over the two new skills and the first one just made him really good at chess, along with skills unrelated to combat didn't have ranks. the second increased brain function and allowed him to operate faster and with multiple thoughts at the same time.
Jack removed his fangs from Sona's wrist and healed the wound "Thank you Sona, I feel better now." He was definitely feeling more confident, that was for sure. Now with the two new skills he was ready and Sona let him have the first move, so he started with a pawn. Sona matched that with a pawn of her own. Then Jack got his bishop out by moving another pawn. Sona moved her knight. And it devolved into a back in forth that lasted 2 and a half hours long.
It was a difficult match as both had the same skills for the game, but Sona had the definite advantage with her high intelligence and wisdom. Jack could've used his eyes and try to use precognition, but he refused to cheat in this. If he failed he'd just have to wait till Saturday to use the jump, but luckily for him he pulled through. Just barely though.
Jack had a knight, a rook, and 2 pawns along with his king. Sona had both knights, a bishop, and one pawn remaining when she was checkmated. She stared at the board in mild shock that she didn't even notice Jack bolt out the room with a "Thank you Ms. Sona." She just continued to stare at the board for a while, as her queen Tsubaki giggled a little seeing her king completely flabbergasted.
--Later--
Jack had just arrived home and both Kalawarna and Mittlet stopped cleaning and were confused as to why he was back already. "Master, why are you back already? Did you forget something?" Kalawarna walked over to Jack, while mittlet went back to cleaning.
"No I've got the rest of the week off and I'm going to be going somewhere to train for the next 3 days." This surprised both Mittlet and Kalawarna a tad, but they quickly got over it "Very well master. I hope it works out well for you." Kalawarna smiled at her master.
Jack then did something she didn't expect from him and kissed her cheek, causing her cheeks to redden noticeably. "That's for the one you gave me the other day" Jack grinned teasingly and walked over to Mittlet and patted her head, which she would refuse to admitting she liked, but she did.
Jack then ran upstairs after saying a quick goodbye and leaving them some spare money for 3 days. Kalawarna stared at the stairs for a few seconds before giggling and fanning herself "He might need to be careful or I might fall for him~" Mittlet off to the side had a similar thought but quickly shook it off, refusing to think about it.
Upstairs Jack had the system open and was currently going through the world jump screen. He selected the Jump button and disappeared dissolving into particles of light and appeared in a room that has code running all across the place, in front of him was an interface asking.

Jack didn't see the point as he wouldn't be living here and didn't want to limit his body with metal. In this world your flesh limits you, for Jack metal limits his flesh. He chose no immediately and then was prompted to put in a name he could choose to go by. Jack grinned at this and put in a slightly altered nickname he called himself before.
