Chapter 307 - Chapter 307: Blake Su: A Rookie Legend, Surpassing Jordan

The league first announced the leaders in each statistical category.

Blake Su claimed the scoring title, averaging 39.4 points per game. Kevin Durant ranked second with 28.7 points per game, followed by LeBron James at 27.7.

"No... no way. Blake Su averaged 39.4 points?! That's more than ten points higher than second-place Durant?!"

"I'm not seeing things, am I?!"

"My God! Blake Su is just a rookie, and he averaged 39.4 points. That's insane. It's unbelievable."

"My God, I just checked. Aside from Wilt Chamberlain averaging 50 points back in ancient times, the highest single-season scoring title average belonged to the 'God of Basketball,' Michael Jordan.

The 1986-87 season.

Michael averaged 37.1 points per game and won the scoring title. That was the strongest scoring-title season of the ten-time scoring champion, the 'God of Basketball,' Michael Jordan.

And yet.

Even that wasn't as high as 'Monster Rookie' Blake Su's 39.4 points per game. Seriously, it's unbelievable. This is madness."

"Blake Su really is always creating miracles."

"Hahaha, Blake Su has shattered people's understanding of him, and even of what a center can be, countless times this season. Now that he's won the scoring title,

he's once again changed the way we look at rookies."

"Alright, congratulations to Blake Su for winning the scoring title. Now let's look at the other statistical leaders. The rebounding title goes to the Timberwolves' 'new Wolf King,' Kevin Love.

Average: 15.2 rebounds.

In second place is 'Superman' Howard at 14.1 per game, while third place goes to 'Black Bear' Zach Randolph with 12.2 rebounds per game.

Love has been excellent.

However... lately, it seems some fans have started questioning him. Hopefully, he can lead his team to more wins and use both results and stats to silence the doubts.

Next is the assist leader. The Suns' 'Captain Canada,' Nash, won the assist title with 11.4 assists per game.

That makes sense.

With a game-changing superstar scorer like Blake Su beside him, plus Curry, who also has strong scoring ability, assists come far too easily for Nash.

This assist title was always his.

It's worth mentioning that the Celtics' Rondo followed close behind with 11.2 assists per game. With four All-Stars to feed, racking up assists was easy for him too.

Third place went to Deron Williams, who averaged 10.3 assists per game.

Now for the blocks leader. Once again, it's the Suns' Blake Su, who averaged 3.5 blocks per game. He has the speed and leaping ability of a guard, along with the height and wingspan of a center.

Even though Blake Su excels at attacking from the perimeter, his defensive presence cannot be underestimated. Winning the blocks title with 3.5 blocks per game is the greatest recognition of his defense.

Bogut ranked second with 2.6, while Howard ranked third with 2.5.

Finally, the steals leader. Will it be Paul or Rondo? Wow~~ It's actually neither. The steals leader is once again the Suns' rookie, Blake Su.

Blake Su won the steals title with 2.8 steals per game.

Unbelievable!

A center, and a rookie at that, actually won the steals title. That is absolutely a first in NBA history. My God, Blake Su is shocking. This is ridiculous.

Rondo ranked second with only 2.4 steals, while Paul averaged 2.3 and ranked third. Paul, a two-time steals champion, actually lost out to a center."

"Wow! I just realized something. Blake Su, a rookie, won the scoring title, steals title, and blocks title all by himself. That's terrifying."

"Hiss!"

"He's a monster. Seriously, it doesn't even make sense!"

"Hahaha, what you don't know is that Blake Su is actually a superhero sent by God specifically to deal with the Heat's big villains."

"Blake Su: I'll lay my cards on the table. I am God!"

"Hahaha! I admit Blake Su is strong, but you guys are hyping him up way too much."

"Wait, calm down. Stop joking around. I just checked. In his rookie season, Blake Su averaged 39.4 points, 10.5 rebounds, 5.3 assists, 2.8 steals, and 3.5 blocks per game.

However.

The 'God of Basketball,' Michael Jordan, who entered the league already at his peak, averaged a terrifying 28.2 points, 6.5 rebounds, 5.9 assists, 2.4 steals, and 0.8 blocks in his rookie season.

Hiss~

Even someone as strong as 'Air Jordan,' even with his godlike rookie-season stats, has to step aside in front of Blake Su. He simply can't compare to Blake Su."

"So crazy!"

"Once you compare the stats, doesn't that mean... Blake Su's rookie season was even stronger than the 'God of Basketball,' Michael Jordan?"

"What?! Blake Su is stronger than Jordan?!"

"Whether it's the numbers or his individual performance this season, Blake Su really doesn't seem to lose to Jordan."

"For the person above, have some confidence. Drop the 'seem.' Blake Su's rookie season was even crazier than the 'God of Basketball's.'"

'Monster Rookie' Blake Su's rookie-season performance surpassed Michael Jordan."

"Good grief!"

"The epoch-making center Blake Su delivered an epoch-making performance, becoming a legend in his rookie season and surpassing the 'God of Basketball,' Michael Jordan!"

"I'm literally kneeling!"

"Blake Su: Awesome! Voice crack~~~"

"..."

Blake Su, who swept the scoring, steals, and blocks titles, once again caused a huge stir online, making him the focus of nationwide discussion all over again.

Amid all the debate.

Blake Su was even hailed as the strongest rookie ever, one whose rookie season surpassed the 'God of Basketball,' Jordan.

Of course.

That praise perfectly matched Blake Su's performance. However... with the playoffs fast approaching, more than his rookie season surpassing Jordan,

fans were now even more eager to see how Blake Su would perform in the playoffs.

...

After the statistical leaders were announced,

the NBA officially followed up by announcing that voting would soon begin for Rookie of the Year, Defensive Player of the Year, Regular Season MVP, All-NBA First Team, All-NBA Second Team, and so on.

This also caused quite a stir.
