POV: EVE
Eve woke to sunlight streaming through the floor-to-ceiling windows and the delicious ache between her thighs that reminded her of everything that had happened last night.
Multiple times.
In multiple positions.
She smiled into the pillow, stretching languidly, and felt the pleasant soreness in muscles she hadn't known she had.
Worth it. So worth it.
The bed beside her was empty but still warm. She could hear the shower running in the bathroom, could see steam curling through the partially open door.
Her body responded immediately, heat pooling low in her belly, nipples tightening beneath the sheet.
Seven weeks of denial had broken last night, but apparently her need for him hadn't been satisfied. If anything, finally having him had only made her want him more.
She threw back the covers and padded naked to the bathroom.
