Chapter 25 - “Ten Years Later”

Ten years had passed.

The shy girl with roll number 11 was no longer the same.

Anna was now the CEO of one of the fastest-growing international companies. Strong. Confident. Respected.

Her name was known in business magazines.

Her interviews were watched by millions.

But one thing remained hidden.

Her real identity.

Very few people knew about her school life. About the quiet girl she once was. About the boy who once sat at roll number 12.

She kept that part of her life private.

Not because she was ashamed.

But because it was personal.

Sacred.

Her office was on the top floor of a tall glass building.

City lights reflected against the windows at night.

One evening, after a long board meeting, she stood alone in her cabin.

Successful.

Independent.

Powerful.

Yet sometimes…

When the room became too quiet—

Her mind wandered back to a classroom.

Wooden desks.

Math exams.

Soft glances.

Oliver.

She hadn't forgotten him.

Not in ten years.

Not even a little.

She had met many people.

Confident men.

Smart colleagues.

Business partners.

But none of them carried that simple familiarity.

That silent connection.

She sometimes wondered where he was.

What he had become.

Was he happy?

Did he ever think about her?

Or was she just a small chapter in his long life?

She never searched him on social media.

Never tried to contact him.

Some memories are beautiful because they remain untouched.

One afternoon, her assistant entered her office.

"Ma'am, there's a partnership proposal from a growing tech firm. They want to collaborate."

Anna adjusted her glasses.

"Send me the file."

She opened the document casually.

Her eyes scanned the page.

Then froze.

The company's founder name.

Oliver Walker.

Her heartbeat skipped.

The world seemed to pause for a second.

After ten years.

After distance.

After silence.

Their paths were crossing again.

But this time—

She wasn't roll number 11.

She wasn't a shy schoolgirl.

She was a CEO.

And he…

Was standing at the same level.

Anna leaned back in her chair.

A small smile appeared on her face.

Fate had a strange way of turning pages.

And maybe…

Some stories aren't meant to end.

They just take time.

Ten years of time. 💙
