The living room had officially turned into a battlefield.
Feathers were everywhere.
Pillows flying across the room.
People screaming like warriors in a medieval war.
Blaster had tied a pillowcase around his head like a bandana.
Blaster:
"SECTION E NEVER SURRENDERS!"
Felix immediately smacked him with a pillow.
Felix:
"You look ridiculous."
Ci N was still narrating everything dramatically.
Ci N:
"THE GREAT PILLOW WAR CONTINUES!"
Denzel jumped across the couch like an action hero.
Denzel:
"ATTACK!"
Eman was recording the entire disaster.
Eman:
"This is cinematic."
Meanwhile…
Keiren had somehow become the most dangerous fighter in the room.
Keiren jumped from the sofa and hit Blaster.
Keiren:
"HA!"
Blaster gasped dramatically.
Blaster:
"I've been betrayed by a child!"
Keigen sat calmly on the armrest watching the chaos.
Keigen:
"This was a mistake."
David was hiding behind a pillow shield.
David:
"I refuse to participate in this nonsense."
And me?
I was having the time of my life.
Jay:
"TAKE THAT!"
I hit Felix with a pillow.
Felix:
"HEY!"
Denzel suddenly smacked me from behind.
Jay:
"BETRAYAL!"
Everyone laughed.
Then I looked toward the kitchen.
Where Keifer was still standing.
Watching everything.
Calm.
Untouched.
Not participating.
Jay narrowed my eyes.
Jay:
"KEIFER!"
He raised an eyebrow.
Keifer:
"Yes?"
Jay pointed a pillow at him dramatically.
Jay:
"JOIN."
Keifer shook his head immediately.
Keifer:
"No."
Blaster gasped.
Blaster:
"COWARD."
Felix nodded.
Felix:
"ABSOLUTE COWARD."
Keifer crossed his arms.
Keifer:
"I prefer survival."
Jay walked toward him slowly.
Very slowly.
Jay:
"You're ruining the fun."
Keifer smirked slightly.
Keifer:
"I'm protecting my dignity."
Jay stopped right in front of him.
Then grabbed his hand.
Jay:
"Too late."
Before he could react…
I pulled him toward the living room battlefield.
Keifer sighed.
Keifer:
"You're impossible."
Jay:
"Yes."
Blaster cheered.
Blaster:
"THE KING HAS JOINED THE WAR."
Felix tossed Keifer a pillow.
Felix:
"DEFEND YOURSELF."
Keifer caught it effortlessly.
Then looked at me.
Keifer:
"This is your fault."
Jay smirked.
Jay:
"Probably."
Then I hit him.
Keifer blinked.
Jay:
"Welcome to the fight."
Everyone laughed.
Keifer shook his head.
Then lightly hit me back.
Keifer:
"Careful."
Jay:
"Never."
And suddenly we were fighting too.
Pillows flying.
People shouting.
Chaos everywhere.
Keiren ran between us laughing.
Keiren:
"TEAM WATSON!"
Felix whispered to him.
Felix:
"Watch this."
I didn't hear them.
Which was a mistake.
Because the next moment—
Felix and Keiren pushed me from behind.
Jay:
"HEY—"
I stumbled forward.
Straight toward Keifer.
And then—
We both fell.
Luckily the floor was covered with soft blankets.
Thanks to someone's earlier "safety precautions."
But the fall still knocked the air out of me.
And when I opened my eyes…
Keifer was right there.
Very close.
Our faces inches apart.
My heart skipped.
Jay:
"…oops."
Then somehow…
Our lips touched.
Just for a second.
An accident.
But before I could pull away—
Keifer's hand moved to the back of my head.
And he deepened the kiss.
My brain stopped working.
Completely.
The room around us went quiet.
For exactly two seconds.
Then Blaster screamed.
Blaster:
"OH MY GOD."
Felix laughed loudly.
Felix:
"I DIDN'T EXPECT THAT."
Ci N shouted dramatically.
Ci N:
"THE WAR HAS TURNED ROMANTIC."
Denzel covered his eyes dramatically.
Denzel:
"I'M TOO YOUNG FOR THIS."
Eman zoomed the camera.
Eman:
"This is peak cinema."
Meanwhile Keiren looked extremely confused.
Keiren:
"Why are they kissing?"
Keigen calmly answered.
Keigen:
"Because they like each other."
Keiren nodded like that made perfect sense.
Meanwhile…
Keifer finally pulled back slightly.
Still hovering over me.
Still smirking.
Keifer:
"You started this."
My face was burning.
Jay:
"I did not."
Keifer raised an eyebrow.
Keifer:
"You dragged me into the pillow fight."
Jay:
"That's not the same thing."
Keifer leaned closer again.
Whispering.
Keifer:
"Are you complaining?"
Jay:
"…no."
From across the room—
Blaster shouted again.
Blaster:
"GET A ROOM."
Felix nodded.
Felix:
"SERIOUSLY."
I immediately shoved Keifer lightly.
Jay:
"Get up!"
He laughed and stood.
Then helped me up.
Meanwhile Keiren pointed excitedly.
Keiren:
"DO IT AGAIN."
Jay:
"NO."
The room exploded with laughter again.
And somehow…
The pillow fight had just become even more chaotic.
