(Jay Jay's POV)
The meeting had gone longer than I expected. Papers, presentations, and calls had me running from one task to another, and by the time I finished, it was already past six in the evening.
I dialed Keifer's number instinctively.
Jay:
"Keifer? Where are you? I'm home—Keifer?"
No answer. My brow furrowed. That wasn't normal. He always picked up, always.
Jay (thinking):
"…he said he had some errands… but it's so quiet… something feels off."
Curiosity tugged at me as I approached our bedroom. And then, there it was.
A dress.
It was stunning. The fabric shimmered under the soft bedroom light, the color a deep, royal emerald green, perfectly elegant, off-shoulder, with subtle sequins sparkling at the waist. A sticky note was pinned delicately to the hanger:
"Wear this. Come downstairs at 7:00 PM. - K."
My heart skipped a beat.
Jay:
"…what… is he planning?"
I changed quickly, the dress fitting like it was made for me, and as soon as I stepped out of the room, I noticed a trail of rose petals leading toward the backyard. My stomach twisted with excitement and nerves.
Jay (thinking):
"…this… this is huge. But… it's beautiful. I have to see what he's done."
I followed the petals, the house eerily quiet around me, until I reached the backyard.
The moment I stepped outside, the lights flickered on, and a single spotlight illuminated Keifer. My breath caught.
(Keifer's POV)
I had been waiting, heart pounding like a drum in my chest. The backyard was dark, quiet, and perfectly arranged—peonies everywhere, rose petals leading to the center, candles lining the edges. I wore a deep emerald suit, matching her dress exactly, tailored for tonight.
Keigen and Keiren peeked out from behind a tree, barely containing their excitement, while Section E and our family were hidden, ready to jump out the moment she said yes.
Keifer (thinking):
"…she's going to be stunned… she deserves this… she deserves everything."
As Jay Jay stepped out, I could see her frozen, eyes wide, hand clutching her chest. She was more beautiful than I had ever imagined. Every beat of my heart seemed to shout her name.
Keifer (softly, stepping forward):

I dropped to one knee, pulling the small velvet box from my pocket, opening it to reveal the ring I had brought from London.
Keifer (voice trembling with emotion):

Jay Jay froze, tears welling in her eyes, chest heaving as the words sank in.
Jay:
"…Keifer… oh my god… yes! Yes! A thousand times yes!"
As soon as the words left her lips, the backyard erupted. Family, Section E, Keigen, Keiren, everyone jumped out cheering, confetti cannons bursting, music blasting.
Keiren squealed, running straight into her arms.
Keiren:
"…Ate Jay! He asked! He asked!"
Keigen smirked, rolling his eyes like a cool older brother, but even he couldn't hide his grin.
(Keifer's POV — Overcome with Emotion)
I stood, slipping the ring onto her finger. She was crying, smiling, laughing all at once, and I couldn't help it. I pulled her close, holding her like I might lose her if I let go.
Keifer (thinking):
"…she's mine… finally… officially… forever. And no one… no one could ever make me feel like this again. I love her more than life itself."
The crowd around us cheered, clapping, taking photos, and I spun her around, holding her close. Every laugh, every tear, every glance we shared that night was pure magic.

The night unfolded in celebration, peonies swaying gently in the breeze, fairy lights illuminating our little world. Section E danced, our families hugged us tightly, and Keigen and Keiren played their little chaotic games, running around and laughing uncontrollably.
Even in the middle of the celebration, I kept my hands on her waist, spinning her around, feeling the warmth of her body against mine. Every kiss, every soft touch, every whispered "I love you" felt amplified by the night, by the magic we had created together.

The night went on—laughter, dancing, and endless joy. The backyard was alive with love, energy, and celebration. Keigen and Keiren ran around, trying to catch confetti, but I didn't care about anything but him, and he didn't care about anything but me.
