Every time you save a life from this day on, a memory of your time with Laila will vanish from your mind." The hero looked at Laila, who was trembling in fear of him. He had a choice: stay with her as a stranger and watch her live, or leave her forever to protect the world. Just then, the sky turned crimson. The first nightmare from the Abyss had sensed the hero's new power and was descending upon the kingdom. The hero didn't have time to mourn. He felt the compulsive urge to protect, to work, to fight. Without a word, he soared into the sky, leaving Laila behind in the dust of his departure.
