[The Psychological War]
A sorcerer named 'The Ego-Breaker' arrived in the village. He carried a cursed mirror that showed a person their "Potential Self"—the version of them that was successful, hardworking, and famous. He used this mirror to make people depressed by showing them how much they had failed in life. One by one, the villagers fell into despair, seeing the "Better Versions" of themselves.
[The Confrontation]
The sorcerer held the mirror in front of Emon's face while he was half-asleep. He expected Emon to see a version of himself as a busy King or a mighty General and feel ashamed of his laziness. He waited for Emon's spirit to break under the weight of his own wasted potential.
[The Third Twist]
Emon looked into the mirror and saw... exactly what he saw every day in the pond. There was no "Better Emon." The twist was that Emon had already reached his "Perfect State." He had no ego, no hidden desires to be anything else, and no regrets. Because Emon was perfectly content being a "Lazy Hero," the mirror had nothing to show him. The cursed mirror, unable to find a difference between Emon's reality and his potential, shattered into a million pieces. The sorcerer lost his powers, and the villagers realized that being content with who you are is the ultimate shield against the world's judgment.
