They brought the most beautiful music and the finest scents to welcome their new King. They wanted Emon to lead them into a new age of prosperity.
[The Choice]
As the crown was placed near Emon's head, he opened one eye. He looked at the throne, the palace, and the thousands of people waiting for his first decree. The weight of "Responsibility" was hovering over him like a dark cloud. If he accepted, he would have to make decisions, solve problems, and—worst of all—attend meetings.
[The Ultimate Final Twist]
Emon didn't accept the crown. Instead, he "Declared Everyone a King." The ultimate twist: Emon's first and only royal decree was that "Everyone is now responsible for their own peace." By doing this, he eliminated the need for a central government or a ruler. He abolished "Work" as a requirement for survival and replaced it with "Harmony." The palace of clouds dissolved and rained down as soft pillows for every person on Earth. Emon returned to his simple hill, no longer a King, but something much greater—a "Universal Constant." The story ends with the sun setting peacefully, as the entire world follows Emon's example and takes a well-deserved, global nap.
