Chapter 89 - Chapter 94: The Paradox of the Static Marathon

[The Divine Challenge]

The Goddess of Speed, 'Velocitas,' was insulted by Emon's lack of movement. She challenged him to a "Universal Marathon." If Emon could reach the edge of the galaxy before her, she would leave Earth alone. If he failed (or stayed still), she would turn the Earth into a giant treadmill where everyone had to run forever to generate power for her realm.

[The Lazy Strategy]

The race began. Velocitas blurred past the stars, reaching the halfway point in a matter of seconds. Emon, meanwhile, was still on his hill, barely breathing. The world watched in terror as the Goddess neared the finish line. They thought their hero had finally given up.

[The Second Twist]

Just as Velocitas was about to touch the finish line at the edge of the galaxy, she hit a solid wall. The twist was that Emon hadn't moved because he had "Brought the Galaxy to Him." Emon's stillness was so profound that it acted as a gravitational anchor. Instead of Emon traveling to the edge of the universe, his "Lazy Field" had warped space-time so much that the finish line was now located right under his mat. Velocitas had run billions of miles only to find herself back where she started. Emon won the race by staying exactly where he was, proving that the fastest way to get anywhere is to make the destination come to you.
