"It feels like my bones are broken..." Naruto Uzumaki fell to the ground, his hands trembling violently.
The impact made it feel as if his bones had shattered.
As the Nine-Tails Jinchuriki, Naruto possessed abnormal resilience and recovery ability, which was why he had not collapsed immediately.
Even so, the pain was still overwhelming.
"Naruto, show your real strength."
Hidden in a corner, a white-haired middle-aged man watched the battle with interest.
"This boy named Sora is indeed very strong, but you are not weak either. Being able to fight him already proves you created a miracle in just one month. Now show your ninja way."
That man was none other than Jiraiya, one of the legendary Sannin.
During this past month, Naruto had unexpectedly encountered Jiraiya and received his guidance.
Naruto had told him everything about Sora's strength and begged Jiraiya to train him so he could gain the power to face him.
Originally, Jiraiya had not planned to teach Naruto that technique so early.
However, Naruto's determination and urgency, along with Jiraiya's curiosity about Sora, made him reconsider.
After investigating Sora's background and thinking about it for an entire night, Jiraiya eventually agreed.
Without learning that technique, Naruto would never have had the strength to face Sora in just one month.
Still, whether Naruto could actually master it in such a short time remained uncertain. Learning that technique in a single month was nearly impossible.
Yet under the pressure created by Sora and Naruto's desperate determination, along with occasional guidance from Jiraiya, Naruto's cultivation speed had skyrocketed.
Against all expectations, he had created a miracle.
Jiraiya came here today specifically to observe Tsunade's disciple, the boy whom the Third Hokage himself admitted he could not see through.
Of course, Jiraiya had already contacted the Third Hokage and learned about Sora's actions in Konaha during this past month.
He wanted to witness the duel between his own student and Tsunade's disciple.
Unlike ordinary spectators, Jiraiya was not interested in who would win or lose. What he wanted to see were the qualities revealed during battle.
"Naruto, is this all the progress you made in a month?" Sora said while shaking his head slightly, disappointment evident in his voice.
The Nine-Tails Jinchuriki had not impressed him so far.
"Don't look down on me!" Naruto roared angrily.
His face flushed red as he formed hand seals.
The blue Chakra within his body was suddenly suppressed as a powerful and ominous red Chakra erupted outward.
That red Chakra wrapped around Naruto's body like a blazing cloak.
Under the powerful regenerative power of the Nine-Tails Chakra, Naruto's injured hands recovered rapidly.
A Jinchuriki's healing ability was already extraordinary, and the Nine-Tails possessed the most terrifying recovery power of them all.
Naruto had not yet reached the level of forming even a single tail.
But if he did, the regenerative ability would become truly horrifying.
"Nine-Tails Chakra?" The Third Hokage looked surprised. "When did this child learn to refine the Nine-Tails' power?"
Not only him, but everyone who had believed Naruto was certain to lose stared at him in shock.
At this moment, Naruto gave off an entirely different aura.
"Have you finally learned to control a bit of the Nine-Tails Chakra?" Sora said calmly. "Although you haven't even reached the one-tail state yet, it's not bad."
Sora, who had previously found the fight boring, finally showed a trace of interest.
But this alone was still far from enough.
Whoosh!
Naruto stomped hard on the ground, kicking up dust as he dashed forward like a gust of wind.
He appeared in front of Sora instantly and threw a punch.
A fist wrapped in Nine-Tails Chakra possessed tremendous power.
"If I had such a massive amount of Nine-Tails Chakra, I wouldn't even fear opponents beyond the Jonin level," Sora thought calmly.
"Unfortunately, you don't know how to use it."
If Sora possessed such an enormous Chakra reserve and could properly utilize it through ninjutsu, gengutsu, and taijutsu, he might even be able to fight a Kage-level opponent.
Unfortunately, Naruto's Chakra control was terrible.
He had only just begun learning how to control the Nine-Tails Chakra. Furthermore, due to Konaha's hidden interference, he had learned almost no ninjutsu except the Multiple Shadow Clone Technique.
He simply could not transform that enormous Chakra into his greatest combat strength.
Even so, it was enough to significantly enhance Naruto's physical power.
"But this still isn't enough."
Without even blinking, Sora kicked Naruto away the moment Naruto's punch reached him.
However, Naruto did not crash helplessly this time.
His body suddenly vanished mid-air.
The next moment, he appeared behind Sora.
The speed he displayed was comparable to Rock Lee's speed after removing his training weights.
"So this is Naruto's real strength..." Rock Lee thought with excitement. "As expected of my rival."
"Is that really Naruto?" Sakura Haruno stared in disbelief.
Naruto looked completely different now.
If he had displayed this level of strength during academy training, he would have overshadowed Sasuke Uchiha long ago, and his popularity with girls would not have been so terrible.
In fact, everyone who knew Naruto was staring in shock.
When had the former dead-last suddenly surpassed everyone?
"Too slow."
Sora turned calmly, dodged Naruto's punch, and then slammed into him like a spinning top.
The impact sent Naruto flying again.
"It's not over yet!" Naruto shouted.
For the past month, he had trained almost without rest. Every day he begged Jiraiya for guidance, pushing himself beyond his limits.
Hard work had paid off.
His strength had increased dramatically, and with the help of the Nine-Tails Chakra, his speed and power were still increasing.
"Multiple Shadow Clone Technique!"
Each Shadow Clone was wrapped in the same red Nine-Tails Chakra as Naruto himself.
If they attacked together, the threat could not be ignored.
After all, the Multiple Shadow Clone Technique was perfect for Naruto.
His Chakra reserves were so enormous that creating clones did not significantly weaken his main body.
And this time it wasn't just ten or twenty clones.
More than a hundred Shadow Clones appeared.
Over a hundred clones covered in Nine-Tails Chakra rushing forward together created a truly spectacular scene.
The oppressive aura alone was enough to make some Chunin feel powerless.
"I thought Naruto would definitely lose," Shikamaru Nara said while watching the battlefield.
"But I didn't expect such a huge reversal. This just became interesting."
The other contestants nearby nodded in agreement.
None of them dared to underestimate Naruto Uzumaki anymore.
