Chapter 1 - THE GIRL WHO WASN'T MEANT TO LI

Chapter 1 – The Explosion

The sky split with a deafening roar, and the world seemed to tilt on its axis.

Glass shattered. Fire swallowed the streets. And in the middle of it all, Amara's heart hammered against her ribs.

Her parents were gone. Her house — gone. And somehow… she was still breathing.

She remembered the whisper. "They found us."

Her father's voice. A warning she never understood… until now.

Running through smoke and debris, she didn't feel fear. Only a strange clarity. Survival wasn't luck. It was destiny.

She remembered the day he made her run obstacle courses in the backyard. "For your future," he had said, smiling but serious.

Now it all made sense. Survival wasn't luck. It was training.

Later that day, she visited her parents' study, cleared of debris but untouched by fire. Papers, files, and notebooks lay scattered. One caught her attention: a folder with her name on it.

Inside: photos of people she didn't know. Symbols. Names. Dates. Notes about experiments.

And a note in her father's handwriting:

If you're reading this, it means they failed. You're stronger than you know. Trust no one completely. Use your mind before your hands.

Amara's heart raced. Her life had been a lie. And now, she had to discover the truth — before they came for her.

Outside, a shadow moved across the street. A figure watching. Waiting.

She wasn't safe. Not yet
