"Name."
"Link."
"Age."
"Male... I mean 18."
At the Dustywater Police Station, Officer Jenny, who was registering Link, an unfortunate kidnapper by pirates, scrutinized the boy with a puzzled look.
He didn't look like it; he looked only fifteen or sixteen.
Actually, Link also felt that his body had improved a lot since his transmigration.
[But before your transmigration, you were ultimately just a completely regressed, useless college student. Although you regained a young body, you were quickly pierced through the abdomen by Patamon's "Air Cannon."]
Recalling the system's previous prompts, he suspected that his body had returned to its peak high school years.
"Okay, actually I don't remember clearly. Just fill in a rough number."
Officer Jenny nodded and recorded "16 years old" on the computer.
"Place of birth."
"I don't know."
Officer Jenny wrote "Dustywater."
Not long after, a Hoenn region Trainer card was freshly produced.
The front of the card records Link's ID No., name, gender, age, place of origin, and residence, while the back lists his honors to date.
In the Hoenn region, there are no such things as "ID cards," and the household registration system is very lax.
This Trainer Card, like a driver's license or student ID, represents Link's officially recognized citizenship within the Hoenn League.
Initially, Link thought his unregistered status would cause a lot of trouble, but Officer Jenny from the police station quickly provided a lot of help after verifying his story.
This made him realize that there are indeed many good people in this world.
"Foe!"
The Fennekin perched on his shoulder sniffed the ink on the Trainer Card and sneezed in disgust.
"Alright, now you can enjoy citizenship within the Hoenn League."
You'll never believe why I moved to… Karachi

Officer Jenny (in Dustywater Town) couldn't help but chuckle, genuinely happy for the two who had "shared hardships."
The League and the police were easier to talk to than expected.
Although Link proactively revealed his identity as Charizard, expressing his desire to return it to its original owner,
the investigation revealed that this batch of Pokémon eggs were smuggled goods, their origin and original owner completely confused.
Furthermore, since Charizard had become very close to Link, Officer Jenny generously granted it to him as a "Starter Pokémon," a qualification every citizen could apply for at age 10. She even personally awarded him 50,000 Poké Dollars as a reward for assisting the police in combating criminals.
Despite some initially unpleasant hiccups, Link, treated kindly by the world, felt he should indeed strive to reach a higher level.
That morning, having received his Trainer Card and become a legal Trainer, he walked the streets of Dustywater Town with Charizard, finding the whole world incredibly novel.
The streets are teeming with not only humans, but also common Hoenn land-dwelling Pokémon like Zigzagoon and Poochyena, and even rarer Pokémon such as Bagon and Tropius.
At the takoyaki stalls, instead of stones, pink Corsolas are used to weigh down the pickle jars, blowing bubbles.
In the flower shop's aquarium, a Horsea floats leisurely on the surface, basking in the sun and spraying out white, misty jets of water.
Occasionally, a Wishiwashi leaps out of the water, gulping in air and splashing colorful sprays in the sunlight, only to be swallowed whole by a Longwing that swoops down from the rooftop.
But some unlucky long-winged gulls were caught by sharp-toothed fish while hunting, struggling and dragged into the sea.
A fisherman, with dark circles under his eyes from baiting all night, caught a glittering golden carp, but before he could even catch it, he was slapped twice across the face.
An old man standing on a piece of driftwood gazed at Route 131 like a waiting-for-husband stone, muttering incoherently, "Nothing today either," and other incomprehensible phrases.
This scene of humans, spirits, and nature coexisting harmoniously, each integrated into the other's lives, intrigued Link from the metropolis. Everything in this dreamlike world captivated him.
But wildflowers can't compare to cultivated flowers.
He looked at the Fennekin beside him, who had only been born one night ago and was equally curious about this world, and made a decision.
"Fennekin , I believe that every encounter between humans is meaningful.
You and I were born into this world on the same day, so why don't we continue our journey together and see more of this world's scenery?"
"Fennekin ?"
The Fennekin tilted its head, puzzled; the words were still too difficult for it to understand.
But it quickly grasped the single sentence and snuggled up to Link, vowing to walk together and be partners for life! "
A life without goals can be interesting, but that's for middle-aged and old age. We're still young, so let's strive for our current goals: becoming a Trainer, obtaining 8 badges, winning the League, and becoming the Champion."
Link had previously aimed to become an 8-badge Trainer, but now, with the Fennekin and the simulator system's help, he believed he had a good chance of achieving his goal.
As for the Fennekin , it was still young, its values not yet fully formed.
Link planned to use this process to help it better understand the world, develop its own hobbies, and discover its life's ideals.
The lives of both humans and Pokémon are still long; let's keep going, revising our destinations along the way!
Holding 54,396 Pokémon, Link, who didn't even know where he'd eat his next meal or where he'd stay that night, was full of confidence.
Although he was a "late-game hero" thanks to the simulator, he cherished his time in this world immensely. He wasn't going to slack off slowly; instead, he chose his team from the start and recruited all members as quickly as possible.
Even though it was just a short walk in the street, Link had already decided on names for his team members' children.
His goal was clear—Team Sunny Day!
He used the Fire/Psychic-type Fennekin as the team's lubricant, leveraging the versatility of Psychic types to implement tactics like Trick Room, Terrain Shift, Tactical Moves, and Item Swiping.
He used the Fire/Dark-type Incineroar as the team's disruptor, using Intimidate, Throw Taunt, Roar, and U-turn for attrition and defensive coordination.
He used the Fire/Rock-type Arcanine as the core attacker, unassumingly powerful, able to learn both Flare Blitz and Double Headbutt, and with the support of his teammates, he could simply focus on attacking.
He used the Fire/Flying-type Charizard as the weather setter and special attacker; while lacking a championship title, Charizard was still reliable.
An all-Fire team is too aggressive, even in a sunny weather team, as Water, Ground, and Rock are all major weaknesses.
A Grass-type Pokémon is essential for defensive synergy.
While Amoonguss is reliable in its silhouette, in reality, its dust can be blown away by air currents, washed away by water, burned by flames, or buried by the ground, making it unsuitable for turn-based combat.
That leaves Shaymin, Rillaboom, and Meowth.
However, considering Shaymin is a Mythical Pokémon, and the latter two require a long journey, Grimmsnarl, a Fire/Grass type from Kitakami Township near Sinnoh, becomes the first choice.
The final replacement is still undecided, but we'll tentatively settle on Ursaring.
With the goal clear, the journey will proceed in the following order: Charmander, Growlithe, Litten, Grimmsnarl, and Ursaring.
