Chapter 90 - Chapter 90: The Paradox of the 1,600 Heavens

[The Spiritual Quest]

The frozen forge became a new monument in the Hive, but a new problem arose. Because the djinns were now "Tempered" and indestructible, they began to create their own mini-dimensions. Every one of the 1,600 djinns started to dream of their own "Perfect Heaven." Soon, the Celestial Hive was fractured into 1,600 different realities. In one heaven, it was always sunset; in another, it was a forest of crystal. Emon found himself being pulled in 1,600 directions, his consciousness thinning out as he tried to maintain all these worlds.

[The Investigation]

Emon realized that the djinns were becoming selfish. Their new power had made them forget the "Unified Soul" they once shared. The village below began to fade because the djinns were no longer anchoring it to reality. "We are gods now, Emon!" one jinni shouted from his crystal palace. "Why should we care about a dusty village?"

[The Second Twist]

Emon didn't punish them. Instead, he "Turned off the Light." He withdrew his fragment of the human soul from all 1,600 heavens. Instantly, the beautiful palaces turned dark and cold. The twist was that the djinns' heavens weren't powered by their magic, but by "Emon's Humanity." Without the warmth of a human heart, their "Heavens" were just empty, golden cages. The djinns realized that being a god is lonely and meaningless without a connection to the world they protect. They abandoned their individual heavens and merged back into the Hive, realizing that "One Shared Reality" is better than a thousand lonely paradises.
