Chapter 1 — The Day the World Ended
The sky broke first.
It didn't shatter with thunder or fire — it simply cracked, like glass under unbearable pressure.
A thin silver line spread across the heavens, stretching endlessly above the sleeping world. For a moment, everything stood still. The wind stopped. The oceans froze in silence. Even the birds dropped from the sky.
Then reality tore open.
A deafening roar swallowed the planet as the crack widened into a vast abyss. From the fracture, an unfamiliar light poured down — cold, merciless, and alien. The air trembled as if the world itself was afraid.
And then the voice came.
It echoed in every mind, every language, every living being.
"System initialized."
Cities fell into chaos.
Cars crashed into each other. Buildings trembled. The ground split apart as something ancient awakened beneath the earth. From the shadows of the collapsing world, creatures never meant to exist crawled into the light.
Monsters.
Creatures of bone and flame. Beasts with endless eyes. Giants that crushed steel like paper. Humanity's age of dominance ended in a single day.
And survival became a privilege.
Ayaan ran.
His lungs burned as he sprinted through the shattered streets, broken glass cutting into his shoes. Smoke choked the air, and the screams of the dying echoed from every direction.
Behind him, something massive moved.
A creature twice the size of a bus dragged itself through the ruins — its body twisted, covered in black armor-like flesh, its mouth splitting open into rows of endless teeth.
Ayaan stumbled, nearly falling.
"Why… why is this happening…?"
He was just a normal student hours ago. Exams, assignments, a simple future — all of it had vanished the moment the sky split open.

Ayaan froze.
The creature lunged.
Instinct took over. He grabbed a broken iron pipe from the ground and swung blindly. The impact barely slowed the monster, but something unexpected happened.
A second notification appeared.

A strange warmth spread through his body. His vision sharpened. The world slowed.
For the first time since the disaster began… he felt power.
And the System noticed.

Ayaan stared at the message.
Behind him, people screamed. The city burned. The creature roared as it charged again.
To remain human meant death.

Pain exploded through his body.
Bones twisted. Blood burned. Something ancient awakened within his veins — something no longer human.
And far above the ruined world, unseen entities turned their gaze toward Earth.
