Chapter 11 - Chapter 11 – As Wishes Come True

The sports car was fast. In barely half an hour, they arrived at the Magic Association.

Under Tang Yue's guidance, Wang Teng finally witnessed just how grand and wealthy the Magic Association truly was.

"Hello, are you Mr. Wang Teng, here for a reserved Awakening?"

At the Awakening area, a young woman in professional attire warmly greeted them.

"Yes, it's him."

Tang Yue lifted her hand and pointed at Wang Teng beside her, clearly unwilling to stand too close.

"Please follow me."

The young woman smiled, said nothing unnecessary, and led Wang Teng into the Awakening Chamber, where she carefully explained the process.

"The Awakening Stone and Guiding Stone have already been installed. You only need to follow the same procedure as your first Awakening."

"I should remind you that the Guiding Stone does not guarantee you'll obtain a specific Element—it only increases the probability."

"I wish you success."

With that, she turned and left the Awakening Chamber.

Wang Teng nodded, focused his gaze, and placed his hand on the Awakening Stone.

Using his Third Realm spiritual power, he attempted to push his soul force backward through his arm and into the Awakening Stone. To his surprise, it actually worked.

A not-too-large gray space appeared before him, filled with countless sparkling lights.

"These are… Star Particles?"

The next instant, the entire cluster of Star Particles began to tremble, as if trying to break free from the gray space and rush along the soul connection into his body.

Wang Teng's expression tightened. He concentrated fully, firmly guarding the point of connection.

At that moment, another force emerged—shattering the final restraint binding the Star Particles.

A single silver Star Particle suddenly broke free and flew straight toward him.

Only then did Wang Teng let out a breath of relief.

He now more or less understood the role of the Guiding Stone—it used elemental resonance to prematurely activate compatible Star Particles and guide them outward.

Of course, there was always the possibility of releasing a different element's Star Particle instead. After all, with so many Star Particles inside the Awakening Stone, who knew whether their restraints were equally strong?

The silver Star Particle streaked through his spiritual world, slowly forming a small cluster of silver stardust.

"Congratulations on obtaining the Space Element!"

Outside the chamber, the attendant saw the Awakening Stone burst with dazzling silver magical energy and instantly understood the result.

"Thank you…"

Wang Teng was delighted. It seemed his luck wasn't bad—at least with a Guiding Stone, his face wasn't black.

"Let's go."

Tang Yue's expression was somewhat grave. To think traces would surface at a time like this… the Black Vatican.

The three descended from the spherical structure. Tang Yue said nothing as she returned to the car. Tang Wenwen seemed to sense that something urgent had come up.

She sat back in the driver's seat. Once Wang Teng got in, she shut the door tightly and immediately started the engine.

"There's trouble in Bo City. I need to rush back—I don't have time to accompany you today."

"While you were Awakening, I already bought tickets for the next train."

"You can either stay here and look around with Wenwen, or come back with me. I bought two tickets."

Tang Yue looked at him seriously. She hadn't expected that after leaving for such a short time, an important discovery would surface.

As a tracker, she had to follow up immediately. Everything else could only be pushed aside.

"I'll go back too."

"My main purpose here was Awakening. Now that it's done, the rest isn't important."

Wang Teng could roughly guess what was happening—Bo City was probably facing a demon outbreak, possibly even involving the Earth Holy Spring.

This was only the beginning…

If there was an opportunity, he'd get involved. If not, he'd stay out of it.

His current strength didn't allow him to act recklessly.

After all, there were Commander-level demons, and even hidden Super-tier Mages in play. He could only admit his own powerlessness.

Tang Yue looked at him, pressed her lips together. When this guy got serious, he actually resembled a normal high school student again—no, more like someone sharp and decisive.

"Here. Take it."

Wang Teng looked at the box Tang Yue stuffed into his hand. He nudged the lid open with his thumb.

Inside lay a crystal-clear silver Magic Crystal.

Dense Space-element magical energy overflowed from it. One glance was enough to tell—it was a top-grade Magic Crystal.

Click.

Wang Teng happily closed the box, his gaze lingering on her. This must have cost her a huge amount of contribution points.

Tang Yue felt extremely uncomfortable under his stare. She immediately turned her head away and glared at him fiercely, her expression clearly saying:

I've practically emptied my pockets for you—don't disappoint me.

"Miss Tang, you're really generous…"

"And you still say there's nothing between you two?"

"Giving away this level of resource just like that…"

Tang Wenwen's small mouth hung open, her eyes filled with longing. That was something she didn't even have the qualifications to exchange for.

"Shut your mouth."

"You little brat—you don't want others to know, do you… hm~?"

Tang Yue lifted her gaze slightly. The meaning was unmistakable.

Tang Wenwen's face instantly fell. She puffed out her cheeks in protest.

"Heh."

Seeing her suffer a defeat, Wang Teng felt that Tang Yue truly was her natural counter—one sentence was all it took to make her obedient.

After dealing with the girl, Tang Yue's mood visibly improved. As expected, not everyone could be like Wang Teng, this little thing with skin thicker than city walls.

The sports car sped toward the Magic City train station. The problems in Bo City were already beginning to surface.

Wang Teng began planning ahead.

If nothing unexpected happened, in less than two and a half years, the Black Vatican would initiate their demon-luring city-destruction plan in Bo City.

During this time, his priorities were clear and unchanged—the core objective was transforming into a demon for cultivation.

With this Magic Crystal, the required Space-element magical energy was sufficient.

As for how long the transformation would take, he couldn't estimate yet—there were no reference cases.

If time allowed, his second objective would naturally be Space Element magic. His Psychic Element leaned toward control and support; only Space magic could grant him truly lethal offensive power.

Ideally, he would push Space magic to Initial Tier full cultivation, unlocking most of his potential.

Of course, if the demon transformation succeeded, demonic arts would also require development—but he already had a plan, so he wasn't worried.

What he lacked was time.

After sending the two of them to the station, Tang Wenwen left.

The wait until the next train wasn't long—about half an hour. Soon, the two boarded the train back to Bo City.

By the time they arrived, night was approaching. After getting off, Tang Yue only gave a brief farewell before hurriedly leaving.

Wang Teng watched her busy figure in silence.

Honestly, her talent shouldn't be bad. Chasing the Black Vatican all year long probably left her little time to cultivate.

Yet she'd still maintained dual Mid-tier cultivation—she must have relied heavily on external resources.

But then again… everyone has their own path.

For now, managing himself was what mattered most. Once he rose high enough, there would be plenty of chances to help her.

"Mages are merely supporting roles… demons are the true path."

Wang Teng raised his head and looked at the sky, once again firming his resolve.

The sky covering this world belonged to those roof-ridge Emperors, and not a single one of them was human.

Even the Ancient King yearned for immortality—five Forbidden Spells combined with an Emperor-tier undead battle armor.

Power so overwhelming, it inspired nothing but awe.
