They clashed.

Yagura didn't block this time.

A mirror formed.
From its surface—
Another Akihito stepped out.
And executed the same Flame Slash.

But via reflection.

He entered Version Two.
Three tails formed behind him.

A black sphere formed.
Oppressive.

He focused entirely on his blade.

Only one step remained—
To Great Sword Saint.
Ordinary flying slashes couldn't rival a Tailed Beast Bomb.
But Great Sword Saint's slash?

This was the perfect whetstone.
The ANBU whispered mockingly.

"Suicidal."
Kurenai smiled faintly.
"You people can't comprehend Akihito's strength."
The Mist ANBU bit back their anger.
They would wait.
The Clash
The Tailed Beast Bomb completed.
Akihito's stance did not change.
Yagura smirked.
Arrogant fool.
"TAILED BEAST BOMB!"
The crimson beam roared forward.
At that instant—
Akihito finished gathering sword intent.
"One-Sword Style: Sky-Splitting Slash!"
He swung.
The crescent blade distorted space itself.
It collided with the Tailed Beast Bomb.
Instantly—
The dark red beam split in two.
But—
The slash slowed.
Yagura poured in more chakra.
He refused to believe it would lose.
Yet—
Even reinforced—
The Sky-Splitting Slash continued pushing forward.
Relentless.
Unstoppable.
As the crescent blade neared—
Yagura's composure shattered.
