"Do you have a crush on me?" He demanded after three full minutes of awkward silence.
Your face grew pink, and you sat next to him, fiddling with your bracelet. You forced a laugh. "Of course I don't! You're just a good friend to me-" Izuku interrupted, his freckles dusted with a sheen of red as he clutched his bedsheets. "But then why did you make the persona of us dating? If you don't see me as a potential boyfriend, you never would've!" You shrugged, placing a facade of anger on your face. "If I saw us dating anytime soon, I would've told you by now," you argued, standing in a huff.
"/Name/, I just don't want to hurt you if I do anything wrong. I don't want to lead you on at all, okay?" You shook your head, starting to pace. "Trust me, I've known for a long time how much of an interest you have in me romantically-" You paled, realizing how that sounded. You turned to him, trying to cover it up. "- Well, wouldn't you, if you've known someone for nearly your whole life?" Izuku sighed, standing as well. "/Name/, if I can't even trust you to tell me if we're on the same page about this, how can I ever? I'm sorry, but you're going to have to leave." Your throat felt tight, and you bit your lip to push down the sensation in your gut. "I guess I'll go then. Bye." You went to his door, slamming it shut behind you.
When you arrived in Katsuki's room- though he had some random friend over, you didn't know or care who- your eyes were already spilling over. Kat instantly went soft, motioning for you to sit next to him. You cried silently on his shoulder as he continued playing video games.
After his friend left- he'd been kicked out 5 hours early- he turned to you. "Was it Izuku?" You nodded, the story of him rejecting you spilling out. Kat didn't even ask for any explanation, even though he was lost at parts. He held you for another few moments. "It's all right, he's just a worthless Deku anyways, so you should hang out with me instead." Oh, Katsuki. You really are a piece of work, huh?
Even though his actions towards Izuku had obviously gotten a lot better, he still saw Izuku as a quirkless Deku who hurt his sister. Kat wasn't going to have that- especially since you were still crying on his shoulder.
You wiped your eyes after a few more seconds, pulling away and laughing. "Honestly, I wanna just forget him and play video games. Are you up for some American-style beat down?" Kat started up another round. "Sure, as long as I'm the one beating you up."
...
Katsuki's POV:
A few hours later- 18 hours- you and Katsuki finally stopped playing, laughing about something stupid. You yawned, rubbing your eyes. "Kat, I'm tired." Katsuki grabbed you, picking you up gently(for him) and placing you in your bed(as in dropping you). You fell asleep instantly, your hand still curled around his shirt.
Katsuki stared for a second, then bit his lip and looked away, his ears burning. "Stupid Deku... how could you turn her down?" He murmured quietly, then unwarapped your hand from his shirt and quietly closed the door. A few seconds later, he ran into his room and closed the door. His face was blisteringly hot, and his legs were shaking.
The source of his agony was in the other room. You. How could you be so dumb as to fall for that idiot, Deku, who couldn't see how amazing you were? He sat down on his bed, then decided to turn in for the night. Katsuki sighed, looking at his boring ceiling before turning and closing his eyes.
