The maiden only pouted in Leander's direction. She turned to Summer and exchanged food with her like rehearsed.
Leander only chuckled at the combined attack. They shouldn't treat their boss poorly, but by then, he was not their boss. He was Luellen's fiancé, who chose to hide things from them. Of course, Summer accompanied Luellen in sulking.
"Me, too! I want something from your plates, too!" Beckett laughed and took a few things from the two of them. However, he had a separate plate so they wouldn't touch Sydney's food.
"The asking price decreased, but it's still steep for someone who has no savings for a house." Houston got on his phone and checked the listing site he found. He eyed Leander. "Do you want to see their payment plans?"
Leander sighed and massaged his temples, hiding a resigned smile. "Sure. Then again, it might be best to see if they already signed up for a viewing."
