Chapter 29 - 29

Seeing Bianchi, Tsuna quickly went to untie her. He had no idea how she got in this position, but he was not going to ask.

The glare on her face said enough about how she was currently feeling.

In his haste to get her out of her bindings, Tsuna forgot to take the ball gag out, and that only intensified the glare on her face.

The moment she was free, she yanked the ball gag from her face and tossed it aside with a curse.

She then reached forward and grabbed his head and pulled, her lips slamming into his once more.

It was a different feeling from before. More hesitant and certainly not as dominant, it felt like she was trying to prove something.

Her tongue pushed past his lips and explored his mouth. A haze seemed to fall over him as a pulse beat in his ear.

His hands found her waist, fingers digging in as he pulled her flush against him.

His hands gripped flesh, and the warmth of her body fanned the flames consuming him.

Instead of retreating and letting Bianchi dominate his mouth, he pushed back. His tongue dancing with hers as he molded himself against her.

Bianchi stiffened at him counterattacking, not expecting something like this from how he acted before.

Her breath hitched as the battle for dominance increased.

His hands started to explore her body, hesitant at first but soon finding purpose with eerie ease. He found a spot on her lower back, and he stroked it back and forth lightly.

The feeling sent a jolt down Bianchi's spine, and a soft moan rumbled in her throat.

That feeling was enough of a distraction to give Bianchi pause in her own assault. That was the opening Tsuna was looking for.

He tilted her head as he pushed forward, his own tongue slipping past hers and entering her own mouth. Invading instead of letting her assault his own.

Then those invading hands danced across her body, learning the shape of Bianchi in the most intimate way, finding areas that even she was unaware of, getting her more and more into this moment when she initially just wanted to get some mild form of revenge.

Tsuna felt the change, felt the way her body leaned into him despite herself. Felt the way her earlier aggression softened. Every stroke of his fingers, every shift of his mouth, fed the fire building between them.

He just managed to slip a hand underneath her shirt and groped her breasts when things changed.

A familiar indigo flame sputtered out of her frame, and Tsuna felt phantom sparks that pushed him away.

He instinctively took a step back from Bianchi, and the haze that had fallen over his thoughts started to recede. As he left, a spark of crimson jumped from Bianchi into him.

[Feat Achieved, Get to Second base with Bianchi]

[Feat Achieved, Harmonize with Bianchi.]

[Received one Silver ticket and one Gold Ticket.]

That notification was the final straw that managed to kick-start Tsuna's brain from horny mode. He took another step back from Bianchi. He desperately ached to continue, but something like this should only happen in a relationship, and while Bianchi and him might have one later, their current situation did not call for that.

Besides, it seemed like Bianchi was thinking similar things.

He could tell she got lost in the moment as well. There was also this sense of fear that was not directed at him. No, she feared that spark of indigo that leaped from her skin.

Tsuna looked over at the indigo flame that sat innocently on the ground with a confused frown. That was certainly Nagi's flame; the familiar warmth and wavelength was not something he could confuse for something else.

But it felt odd, like it yearned for him, but at the same time, it recognized he was not the target for that yearning.

The flame then sunk into the floor and lay dormant as if waiting for something. He was tempted to do something about that, but he was not feeling any urge to confront it. So he decided to leave sleeping dogs lie for now.

"I need some time to think."

Bianchi spoke out, breaking Tsuna from his thoughts, and then left quickly before Tsuna could reply. He got the distinct impression she was fleeing, but another part of him told him she would be back.

That spark that was softly humming in his chest told him that.

He was honestly surprised that he managed to harmonize with her. He thought he needed to have a deeper bond to do that, but perhaps the physical spell between them accelerated that, or maybe it was this aching want for more.

Tsuna was beginning to regret not having Reborn around. The number of questions piling up about his flames was just getting larger and larger.

"Lambo beat Reborn. Lambo the greatest."

A soft gleeful mumbling rang out from the table, and Tsuna remembered that Lambo was still knocked out there.

The kid was lying face down on the table with a snot bubble blowing out of his nose.

Tsuna felt a red-hot blush appear on his face. He completely forgot about the idiot in his haze. Was he really about to do something like that with Lambo five feet from him!?

He felt a mix of mortification and shame at that. He really thought he had more control over himself than to do something like that.

It was not just Lambo either. If he lost himself in that moment, his mother and Nagi might have walked into a scene they very much did not want to see.

Tsuna rubbed his temple and cursed softly. He needed to get a handle on himself, but he was unsure how to go about that. Maybe he should ask Luci about tips?

He was probably going to be teased by his familiar, but she was probably the best person he could approach about this.

The thought made him choke out a strained laugh. He was seriously considering asking a literal devil for tips about managing his sex life.

His life had gone sideways, but the alternative was being a cripple, so he would pick this route a thousand times over.

He cleaned up the mess Lambo left in his house. His mother was certainly not going to like it if he just left it as it was. He also took the opportunity to take items out of the kid's hair.

He was not going to leave a literal arsenal in the child's possession. He was tempted to study the kid's head as something clearly funky was going on there, but he had a ton on his plate already.

When he pulled the last grenade out, he put the items in a box that he was going to hand to Luci later and went to a blind spot.

He had some tickets to pull.

[Tough Skin]

|Uncommon Trait|

You have abnormally tough skin, enhancing your durability beyond the norm.

Huh, after the assault from the Gacha from before, he expected a whole lot more random nonsense, but this was great. It meshed well with the melee build he was working with, and while it was not that impressive, it was an additive.

He pulled the Gold Ticket, feeling far more confident about what he was going to get.

[White Mage]

|Rare Trait|

Nobody fucks with the white mage. All of your recovery class abilities are more potent and cost less energy to use, and people are more grateful for you healing them because they better be.

Tsuna almost let out a whoop. The Gacha was treating him well for once. Again, it did not make him dangerous, but he appreciated being a better healer. In fact, traits like this were something he appreciated far more than any other.

When he accepted the trait, the sparks of yellow in his body started to grow. It was still not at the level to be of use, but it was like Hana's flame. A weak seed that just needed some attention to blossom into something fierce.

With that done, he decided to cook dinner for everyone.

He was sure his mother would want to cook as soon as she got back, but since he was here alone, he might as well help out. He made something simple, just a simple curry rice.

Being able to cook at all was already shocking enough to his mother. He did not want to confuse her even more by pulling out top-tier dishes.

Time passed quickly as he got into a rhythm. Before he knew it, he heard loud chatter from the girls getting back from their trip. It took only a moment before his mother's head popped out from the kitchen door and looked inside with a pout.

"Are you trying to steal Mama's place, Tsu-kun?"

She asked with big puppy dog eyes, and Tsuna let out a laugh.

"No, Kaa-san. I just figured that with you shopping with Nagi-chan, you would not have much time to cook. I have no plans on stealing kitchen duty from you. I like your food way too much to do that."

Tsuna spoke out with a light smile. His mother smiled brightly back at him. Those were exactly the right words to say.

Tsuna knew she was rather proud of her skills after all.

"Good. Then leave the rest to me and go keep Nagi-chan company. She's been pouting all day. Wouldn't say why… but I think she missed Tsu-kun."

Nana teased as she ushered Tsuna out of the kitchen.

Tsuna let out another laugh and followed her directions without fuss. He had missed Nagi as well, even if he felt rather conflicted about his feelings for her.

He had something brewing with another girl after all.

Tsuna entered the room and looked over at Nagi, who was standing ramrod straight near the kitchen table. Bags containing everything they bought today were sitting on the table, but something else caught his attention.

Nagi's eyes were glazed over as she stared into nothing with a tight frown on her face. Then he felt the indigo flame that had been slumbering underneath the floorboards. The flame was connected to her and was feeding into her from the floorboards.

He frowned and quickly got to work. Purifying flames jumped from his hands and were directed at Nagi. He was not getting any hostile intent from the flames, but there was clearly something going on here, and he was not going to let it affect Nagi any longer.

His flames touched Nagi, and he had to pause as a curse left his lips.

Tsuna could purify most concepts because they were foreign and did not belong with the individual in question, but the flames invading Nagi were definitely her own flames. If he tried to purify those flames, he would end up targeting her own native flames as well.

Burning someone's flames like that would probably kill them. The indigo flames, as if knowing that, rushed from the floor and settled into Nagi's own flames, using them as a shield so he could not even use his Wrath flames to eat away at the connection between the two flames.

Those flames were almost sentient.

Tsuna was brainstorming solutions when he noticed a change in Nagi. The dazed look on her face was gone, but the tight frown remained but it was sharper.

Nagi soon locked onto his form, her gaze steely and firm, and she walked towards him quickly.

He could read determination, and she was planning something, but his instincts told him it was not anything harmful.

"Nagi-chan, are you ok–"

Tsuna started to ask her, but she pulled him down towards her, her fingers digging deeply into his shirt as her lips met his. For the second time today, he had a tongue shoved down his throat in a completely unexpected way.

This was not lust; her lips trembled, and there was this sense of urgency as if Tsuna would fade away if she did not take this moment.

He was worried, but at the same time, the heat between them bloomed. She was oh so soft and warm, and Tsuna slowly, hesitantly returned the kiss.

[Feat Achieved, Take Nagi/Chrome's first kiss.]

[Received one gold ticket.]

He could not even bother to reply as he was once more losing himself in a moment.
