Chapter 31 - ch 30,Atura’s Memories

Torisa, Ajina, and Jeron were searching through the hospital for Yakira's room.

As they walked through the hallway, Torisa suddenly noticed a room number plate.

Torisa quietly said, "I think this is Yakira's room."

Ajina coldly replied, "I won't even let Yakira's corpse remain alive."

At that moment, Torisa's eyes shifted toward a nurse walking from the opposite side.

He politely asked, "May we enter this room?"

The nurse became silent for a few seconds.

Then she gave a faint smile and replied, "You three are the chiefs of our three states."

"Why would you need anyone's permission?"

Hearing this, Jeron smiled lightly and said, "Even so, we are still citizens of this nation."

The nurse then asked curiously, "Is Alpha Sir not with you?"

Torisa replied, "No. He is currently at the Ashram."

The nurse smiled softly and continued walking away.

A moment later, Torisa slowly opened the door of the room.

The instant Ajina looked inside, his eyes widened in shock.

The bed was completely empty.

Torisa immediately said in surprise, "Where did he go?"

The air suddenly became silent.

Ajina angrily said, "Now he's gone too far… I won't let this Yakira stay alive!"

The next moment, Ajina rushed out of the room in anger.

He leaped from the balcony and landed on the rooftop of a nearby house.

Ajina then sat down on the edge of the roof and quietly said to himself,

"I don't think Yakira escaped on his own…"

"Someone definitely helped him."

"It seems we'll have to question that nurse first…" Ajina muttered quietly.

"But before that… we should meet Vikar."

"Wherever he goes, children can easily be manipulated into doing whatever we want."

After saying this, Ajina slowly stood up.

He then raised his eyes toward the sky and silently stared into the distance.

Meanwhile, Mara was lying inside his room, lost in thought.

He looked toward the clock and quietly said, "It's 8 at night…"

A moment later, he raised his eyes toward the ceiling.

"What will happen next…?" he whispered to himself.

"And where could Atura be…?"

Mara slowly closed his eyes.

"Why am I showing so much concern for him…?"

"But if I've received this power… then I have to find Atura."

A few moments later, Mara slowly fell into a deep sleep.

His breathing became calm and heavy.

Then, he suddenly saw a beautiful dream.

He found himself standing inside a vast garden filled with endless greenery.

Thousands of flowers surrounded the entire place.

Mara slowly began running through the field.

Finally, he stopped in front of a small blue-colored flower.

He stopped in front of the small blue-colored flower.

Then, in a quiet voice, he said,

"What poem should I write about you…?"

"Even my breaths feel frozen now."

"How can I look at the flowers, beloved…"

"When even my hope has turned away from me."

Mara suddenly stopped and looked shocked.

"When did I create that poem…?" he whispered.

"I don't even know how to sing properly…"

At that moment, he heard the voice of a girl from behind him.

"Brother, what are you doing over there?"

Mara quietly replied, "Nothing… I was just enjoying the beauty of this nature."

A moment later, Mara slowly turned around.

Standing before him was a girl wearing a yellow-colored headband.

Seeing her, Mara quietly thought to himself,

"What is happening to me…?"

"It feels like I'm speaking on my own…"

The girl suddenly turned around and started running away.

At that moment, Mara tried to move forward, but it felt as if his legs refused to move.

"What is happening…?" Mara thought nervously.

"Why can't I move my feet?"

A few moments later, the girl disappeared completely into the distance.

Then, another girl's voice echoed behind him.

But this voice sounded completely different from the girl with the headband.

"Hey, Atura brother! How are you? Come here!"

Hearing this, Mara quickly turned around once again.

"Who is this girl…?" he thought to himself.

"And why did she call me Atura?"

"She looks almost five years older than me…"

"And she's standing only a short distance away."

"The girl with the headband was standing at almost the same distance too…"

Suddenly, Mara began walking toward the girl on his own.

He stopped in front of her.

The girl smiled softly and said, "Brother, come with me. Father is calling you."

Mara quietly nodded his head and followed her.

After walking for some time, Mara stopped near a small hut.

Just as he was about to enter the hut, the girl suddenly spoke again.

"Atura brother, quickly go wash your hands and face first."

The next moment, Mara suddenly turned around and started walking again.

He moved behind the hut, where he noticed a beautiful pond a short distance away.

Mara slowly stepped toward it.

At that moment, he quietly thought to himself,

"What exactly is happening…?"

"I can only think…"

"I have no control over this body or even these words…"

Suddenly, Mara heard the voice of a man coming from inside the hut.

"Atura, where are you?" the man called out loudly.

Without warning, Mara replied on his own, "I'm near the pond, father."

The man's voice echoed again, "You know that from now on, your wandering around will stop."

"And forget about writing poems."

"You must become a great warrior, a doctor, or get some respectable profession."

Hearing those words, Mara quietly thought within his mind,

"What should I do…?"

"My father simply doesn't understand me."

"I want to become a poet…"

"But what can I even do?"

Mara slowly lowered his head and looked into the water of the pond.

The moment he saw the reflection, his eyes widened in shock.

Instead of his own reflection…

he saw Atura's face staring back at him.

Suddenly, Mara noticed a girl standing ahead of him.

She was wearing the same yellow-colored headband on her head.

The moment Mara saw her, he suddenly stepped into the small pond and began chasing after her.

As soon as the girl looked back, she immediately started running away again.

Mara noticed that she was already very far from him.

Without stopping, he began running at incredible speed.

In just moments, he crossed the entire pond.

Still chasing the girl, Mara continued running farther and farther away from the hut… disappearing deep into the endless greenery.

While running, Mara suddenly reached the edge of a deep cliff.

He immediately stopped his footsteps.

At that moment, Mara felt a strange presence behind him.

"Is someone standing behind me…?" he thought nervously.

Slowly, he turned around—

—but before he could react, a person suddenly grabbed his throat.

Sharp nails dug deeply pressed against Mara's neck.

With only one hand, the mysterious figure lifted him high into the air.

Mara struggled desperately, unable to breathe.

Mara suddenly opened his eyes.

To check the time, he quickly turned his head and looked behind him.

It was 11 at night.

Mara quietly whispered to himself,

"Did I just experience Atura's life… or his memories?"

A moment later, he slowly got down from the bed.

"Should I go to the Red Moon again…?" he muttered.

"But how will I even go there?"

"Was that really just a dream…?"

"Because it didn't feel like one."

"At that moment… I could truly feel the pain."
