Chapter 68 - Chapter 68: Training Begins

The gravity on King Kai's Planet felt like thick, sticky glue clinging to every inch of the body.

Goku stumbled across the grass like a monkey whose tail had been stepped on, chasing a monkey named Bubbles.

Bubbles moved quickly, making faces while jumping between the few trees on the small planet.

From time to time, he even threw banana peels that perfectly tripped up the future number-one fighter in the universe.

"Damn it! Stop running!" Goku wiped dirt from his face and continued panting heavily.

Ten times gravity was something he still needed time to adapt to.

Not far away, Krillin lay comfortably on a deck chair with his legs crossed, holding a glass of iced juice that had appeared from his System space while watching the scene leisurely.

"Goku, lower your center of gravity. Don't just rely on brute force," Krillin took a sip of juice calmly.

"You're trying to catch a monkey, not compete with it to see who has the harder head."

"Krillin, aren't you going to train?" Goku shouted back while continuing to struggle.

"King Kai said we can't eat until we catch it!"

"Catch it?" Krillin glanced at the still-showing-off monkey.

In the next second, Krillin disappeared.

There was no sound of wind, no burst of energy, and not even the grass beneath his feet moved.

Bubbles was just about to mock him when it suddenly felt its neck tighten.

Krillin had already appeared behind him, grabbing him by the scruff like a chick and casually stuffing a banana into his mouth.

"Done."

Krillin dropped the stunned monkey in front of King Kai.

"Let's eat."

King Kai pushed up his sunglasses, his jaw nearly dropping.

This was ten-times gravity, yet this bald guy hadn't even broken a sweat.

"No way! That's cheating!"

King Kai shouted.

"This is basic physical training!"

"Basic physical training?" Krillin pointed at his bald head.

"I don't do a hundred push-ups every day for nothing. King Kai, let's not waste time. Get to the important part."

Meanwhile, on distant Earth...

On the barren Dinosaur Plains, strong winds whipped sand and gravel through the air.

Piccolo hovered in midair with his arms crossed, looking coldly at the two small figures below him.

Four-year-old Gohan stood behind a rock, trembling. Tears and snot covered his face as he kept crying out for his parents.

Nearby stood Trunks, also four years old, wearing a torn jacket and holding a leg bone he had picked up somewhere. His eyes carefully scanned the surroundings.

"Listen carefully, brats," Piccolo's voice was cold.

"That bald guy entrusted you to me, so I won't go easy on you. You will survive in this wilderness. I'll return in six months. If you die, blame your bad luck."

With that, Piccolo turned into a streak of light and disappeared into the sky.

"I want to go home!" Gohan cried even louder as he curled into a ball.

"Shut up!" Trunks snapped impatiently, his young face showing a fierceness far beyond his age.

"You'll attract wolves if you keep crying like that. What kind of Saiyan's son acts like a crybaby?"

Trunks was afraid too, but he carried Krillin's calm thinking and Bulma's rational judgment, along with the strange confidence inherited from the Saitama template.

"Dad said fear comes from insufficient firepower," Trunks waved the bone club in his hand.

"As long as we defeat everything that wants to eat us, we'll be safe."

Gohan sniffled and looked up at him with confusion and fear in his eyes.

At that moment, the ground began to shake.

A ten-meter-tall Tyrannosaurus suddenly appeared from behind a rock.

Its foul-smelling mouth dripped with saliva as it stared at the two children like prey.

"Mom!" Gohan screamed and tried to run, but his legs were too weak to move.

Trunks didn't move.

He stared directly into the dinosaur's eyes as the faint energy inside his body began circulating.

"If Dad were here, he'd finish this with one punch."

Trunks clenched his teeth.

"I can do it too!"

The Tyrannosaurus roared and charged forward, opening its mouth wide enough to swallow both children at once.

"Dodge!"

Trunks pushed Gohan aside and rolled in the opposite direction.

The dinosaur's bite shattered the rock behind them into fragments.

Instead of retreating, Trunks used the moment when the dinosaur lifted its head.

His small body shot forward like a cannonball.

He raised the bone club, gathered all his energy into one point, and smashed it against the dinosaur's toe.

"Break!"

A cracking sound echoed.

Despite the difference in size, the strike carried terrifying force enhanced by the Saitama template.

The Tyrannosaurus screamed in pain and staggered backward.

"Good chance! Crybaby, run!" Trunks shouted.

But Gohan stood frozen, staring at him.

Enraged, the dinosaur swung its massive tail.

Trunks was still midair and had nowhere to dodge.

"No!" Gohan's pupils shrank sharply.

Fear reached its peak and transformed into rage.

A massive burst of energy exploded from his body.

His figure blurred as he instantly appeared in front of Trunks and blocked the dinosaur's tail with both hands.

The two children were blasted backward and slammed into a cliff behind them.

Dust filled the air.

After a while, the rubble shifted.

Trunks crawled out, covered in dirt, and spat out blood.

He looked at the unconscious but unharmed Gohan beside him and smiled crookedly.

"Tch, you're not bad."

He pulled out his last piece of compressed biscuit, broke off a large portion, and stuffed it into Gohan's mouth while keeping a small piece for himself.

"After this meal, we're brothers. This wilderness belongs to us now."

Back on King Kai's Planet...

Goku finally caught Bubbles on the third day.

Then he spent another five days chasing Gregory the cricket.

"Good. Your basic training is complete."

King Kai stood with his hands behind his back as he looked at his two disciples.

One was bruised and exhausted but full of fighting spirit.

The other had perfectly neat clothes and had even set up a barbecue grill nearby to roast fish.

"Next, I will teach you my real secret technique, the Kaioken," King Kai's expression became serious.

"It is a technique that multiplies the energy within your body for a short time. Your power, speed, and defense will all increase greatly.

However, it places an enormous burden on the body. If you cannot control it properly, your body will collapse under the pressure.

With your current physical strength, Goku, two times is your limit. As for Krillin..."

King Kai looked at Krillin, who was calmly sprinkling cumin onto grilled fish, and hesitated slightly.

He still couldn't fully understand Krillin's physical condition.

"System, open the panel."

Krillin issued the command silently while flipping the fish.

"No upper limit, huh..." A playful smile appeared on Krillin's face.

"This is getting interesting."
