Part 2: Unexpected Meetings
The next day, Ananya couldn't stop thinking about the boy from the bus stop.
"Arjun…" she whispered his name softly, smiling without realizing.
She told herself it was just a small moment. Just rain. Just coincidence.
But destiny had other plans.
Three days later, she was in the college library, searching for a book on hospitality management. As she reached for the last copy on the shelf, another hand touched it at the same time.
She looked up.
"Rain girl?" he smiled.
"Umbrella hero?" she replied before thinking.
They both laughed.
"I didn't know you study here," Arjun said.
"I didn't know you do either."
Turns out, he was in a different department but same university. Same campus. Same canteen. Same corridors.
From that day, they started meeting often.
Sometimes in the library. Sometimes near the tea stall. Sometimes just walking silently after classes.
They didn't call it love.
Not yet.
But there were small things—
✨ He remembered she liked less sugar in her tea.
✨ She noticed he always waited until she safely got into her auto.
✨ Their conversations became longer.
✨ Their silences became comfortable.
One evening, while sitting under a tree on campus, Arjun looked at her seriously.
"Do you believe in coincidence?" he asked.
Ananya looked at the sunset.
"I think… some meetings are written."
Their eyes met.
And for a moment, the world felt quiet.
Maybe this wasn't just rain.
Maybe this was the beginning of a love story. 💞
