Two hours and thirty minutes before the Funabashi Aeon Mall incident.
The Wataru family are busy preparing for their trip to the mall, Chī is still fiddling with her eyelashes while Ōshiro is sitting on the sofa watching the news for the weather prediction for the day.
Meanwhile, their son, Suguru, is nowhere in sight.
But the rustling sound upstairs is a good indication of where.
"Suguru! Did you remember where you put your hat yet?" Chī asked offhandedly.
"Mhm! I found it, it's under my pillow!" A child's voice replied from upstairs.
Payday has just passed early this week and as any proper aspiring middle class family would, they went shopping for "necessary" stuff, you know?
"Why is he even bringing a hat? We're going to be inside most of the time"
"Shh- just let him"
Ōshiro is actually really happy that Suguru likes the hat he bought for him as a gift, but he wasn't about to get teased by his wife for it, he still has a one point advantage in that little game of theirs.
"And why are 'you' grinning so wide yourself pa-pa~"
"ᴰᵃᵐᵐᶦᵗ"
And so was the morning routine for this couple.
"I got it!"
And Suguru has also acquired his hat, the good news just keeps on coming aren't they? But they should really start to get going now, mid-day weekend traffic is not fun at all.
"Let's get going now!"
"Sorry Suguru, mama's not finished yet"
"Eh?! But you told me to hurry just then!"
"Ehe~"
And Suguru was already ecstatic even before entering their car, his parents had already promised him Soba for lunch after all.
"Suguru, mama's not going to be done anytime soon, c'mere Kamen Rider is playing"

Funabashi Aeon Mall Incident : Timeline of Events
The Prefectural Government of Chiba and the City of Funabashi are still working to respond to the numerous requests for access to public records received following the City's response to the Organised Villainous Attack at Aeon Mall Funabashi.
Many of the records related to the City's and Prefecture's response have been requested by multiple individuals, organisations, or institutions. To streamline the release of these materials, records that are deemed safe for public viewing will be written here.
As additional records become available, they will be added to this page.
Certain requested records are currently exempt from disclosure or confidential under Japanese law and/or HPSC regulations. Information regarding those requests will also be posted on the City's website as well, as appropriate.
We encourage members of the public to view these materials with sensitivity and respect for those affected by this tragedy.
Timeline starts:
04:28:31 | First Reported Activity
Suspicious activity was first reported to the Aeon Food Supply Minamikanto Centre at Kamome 2 Ban St.
Nearby apartment residents heard a loud rustling sound, numerous large vehicles moving in and out, and sometimes even growling noises all throughout the night.
The reporting was done two more times by a different caller 2-3 minutes after the first report.
04:32:49 | Officers Dispatched to Investigate
Two officers are dispatched to check on the reported location to confirm the source of the noise.
Upon arrival, the officers reported being confronted by a middle age male claiming to be the operational manager of the warehouse.
After a standard procedure of identification and position verification, the officers reported that all claims are aligned with the available data.
Ono Kagami, age 46, born in Utsunomiya, Tochigi Prefecture, was appointed manager of Aeon Good Supply Minamikanto Centre for two weeks before the report.
After a short sequence of questioning, Kagami admitted that there had been an unexpected arrival of mistimed supplies, with an early arrival of supplies from Tochigi Prefecture and a late arrival from Saitama Prefecture resulting in an unlikely same time arrival from both convoys.
Kagami apologised for the disturbance during the night and promised compensation for the surrounding household later in the day.
The officers finished up their report and decided to leave the building seven minutes after their arrival.
05:09:13 | First Sighting of Attackers
Two black vehicles with tinted glass are first spotted going towards the building premises by a nearby warehouse's CCTV.
These two vehicles would later become the vehicles used by the attacker to reach the mall.
The owner of the CCTV didn't realise that he had caught the vehicle's arrival until he checked the footage the day after the attack.
05:29:32 | Compensation Received
The first resident of the apartment reported being given the compensation consisting of a box of tissues and a pack of bread along with an apology letter for the disturbance during the night.
Other residents later reported receiving similar or the same kind of packages.
10:00:19 | Aeon Mall Opened
Aeon Mall Funabashi opened up for the day.
11:09:27 | Aeon Mall Entered its Busy Hour
The mall reached its 800th visitor of the day with more expected to come during lunch hour.
12:39:41 | Attacker's Depart From Aeon Food Supply Minamikanto Centre
Two black unmarked vehicles departed from Aeon Good Supply Minamikanto Centre, heading towards Aeon Mall Funabashi.

The Wataru family had started walking around the mall while waiting for the movie they're going to watch to start, with almost an hour to wait they decided to eat at a noodle restaurant in the mall.
The place is packed with peak hour visitors, but the family had managed to find themselves an available table and quickly ordered their food.
"slurp Mm!!"
And Suguru is happily enjoying his promised Soba with great enthusiasm as well.
"Don't eat so fast Suguru you'll choke" His father reminded him.
"Mm? But I can't?"
"Oh right, continue then slurp-!!?"
While Ōshiro wanted to let him continue, a very, veeery tiny pinch on his thigh suddenly gives him a very convincing argument to shut his mouth up.
"Suguru, when we're in public, eat slower okay~? It's more polite that way"
Chī's gentle voice sweetly corrected him.
"Mm? But dad is eating like this too?"
"!!!"
Ōshiro's face turned a little white in response and Chī's smile seemed to brighten just a bit more than it already was.
"cough p-papa forgot sometimes, listen to mama Suguru, okay?"
"(-_-;)… okay"
Eating slow or fast didn't matter to Suguru, as long as it's good soba then any day is almost like a holiday to him.
The hour went by as before, busy as usual and a bit crowded in the clothing areas.

To add to that, the weather forecast showed no sign of sudden rain for the day so more people decided to do more outdoor activities.
That's why nobody expected the coming tragedy that would hit this place.
And it's visitors the least.
Because the moment a massive explosion hit the North Entrance shaking the entire building with it, everyone froze.

13:00:11 | Unmarked Vehicles Enter Through The Main Gate
Two unmarked vehicles entered the mall's parking lot.
CCTV in the area caught 8 individuals exiting the two vehicles, this individuals later became the 8 main perpetrators of the attack that follows, upon exiting their vehicles all of them are already wearing a backpack filled with Improvised Quirk Based Explosives built using a combination of the quirks of the Mariko sibling pair.
Below is the list of individuals who acted as the main perpetrators of the attack.
Individuals are as follows:
1. Eguchi Ryou
Sex: Male
Age: 31 years old
Quirk: Finger Whip; his fingers can elongate and act like a whip with enough strength to break glass and damage wood and metal.
During the attack, the subject was observed using his quirk with more destructive ability than previously thought possible, later interrogation revealed that the subject was under a heavy dose of "Trigger" quirk enhancing drug in his system during the attack.
All other subjects are revealed to be under the same kind of drugs.
2. Īno Jun
Sex: Male
Age: 37 years old
Quirk: Mouthful; he can manifest mouths of various sizes throughout his body, this manifested mouths have a tremendous bite force and have the ability to spit out a slimy corrosive substance whenever he curses out words with negative emotions. (Ability enhanced further by Trigger usage).
3. Okamoto Masa
Sex: Male
Age: 27 years old
Quirk: Levitate; he can make any object around a 10.98 m radius around him levitate to a max height of 5.67 m relative to the surface under it, after levitating, he is also able to drop the levitated objects at an increased velocity. (Ability enhanced further by Trigger usage).
4. Souma Takahisa
Sex: Male
Age: 31 years old
Quirk: Lizardling; he is a lizard like mutant, with a large build and enhanced strength, his skin is made up of tough leathery biomaterial layered by an outer layer of thick bony plates that act as natural armour, which, along with his crocodile shaped head makes him a ,dangerous opponent at close quarters. (Ability and Mutation enhanced further by Trigger usage)
5. Furukawa Yu
Sex: Male
Age: 35 years old
Quirk: Whirlwind; he can generate a whirlwind with speed ranging from 20-50 km/h by swiping his limbs, be it arms or legs, and release it to a set direction after which he'll no longer be able to control it anymore. (Ability enhanced further by Trigger usage).
6. Morinou Akihisa
Sex: Male
Age: 40 years old
Quirk: Black Pointer; his right pointer finger has the ability to shoot extremely highly pressurised air, this pressurised air has enough penetrating power to go through steel and concrete walls and floors leaving a distinctive circular hole in its aftermath. (Ability enhanced further by Trigger usage).
Deeper investigation and later interrogation of Eguchi Ryou revealed him to be the acting operation leader of the attack.
7. Arai Mariko
Sex: Male
Age: 25 years old
Quirk: Fireworks; the older of the Mariko siblings has the ability to turn any area that he touches into a small explosive, normally resulting in a hand shaped explosion on the object. (Ability enhanced further by Trigger usage).
8. Okada Mariko
Sex: Female
Age: 23 years old
Quirk: Glue Hand; the younger of the Mariko siblings can make any surface that she touches sticky by leaving a translucent glue like liquid that has a very explosive property once ignited. (Ability enhanced further by Trigger usage).
13:03:49 | First Bomb Detonated
The first explosion happened on the North Entrance of the mall, with the explosive devices carried by Masa and Takahisa inside their backpack.
While casually walking towards the glass door, both of them planned to put the explosives just outside of the mall, on both sides of the door, but when they nearly reached their destination, one of them was momentarily confronted by one mall security personnel.

"That girl just have to make it this damn heavy heave dammit!"
Okamoto Masa is not having a great time, the final weight of each bag of explosive ended up being almost 50 kg in weight and each of them had to bring it to their assigned location themselves.
Meanwhile, his crocodilian partner could not empathise with him.
"Please stop dragging your feet Masa-san we're the last team to get to our position now, the others are already waiting"
Maybe it was the slight politeness of the words used or the underlying sarcasm that ticked him off more, doesn't matter anyway.
"Shut it you lizard! If you're not gonna help then shut up"
Well, there goes the polite cap, now it's the bulky crocodilian folk that turned offended.
"Huh!!? What'd you say?! Let me remind you, you said at the car 'JuSt TaKe yOuR OwN StUfF iT's NoT tHaT HeAvY aNyWaY' HUUUURGGEHH bullshit"
"I said shut it dammed lizard!"
After both of them reached the North Entrance gate, a sudden unexpected caller nearly got them to jump in surprise.
"Sir! Excuse me- Sir!"
A mall security guard in uniform suddenly came towards them, waving his hand in the air to try and get their attention.
"Oh no.. the jig's out already?!"
But despite the thought he tried to keep his expression neutral hoping that the guy was just asking for other things, but one of his hands already instinctively went to his pocket holding the injector ready to be used at a moment's notice.
Both of them stopped the moment the security guy got close, their stance silently turned ready to jump into action.
"I'm sorry but that bag looks too heavy for your comfort, please let me help you take it through the gate at least"
But turns out the guy was just kind, now both of them feel a little bad for immediately getting ready to jump the poor guy.
"N-no no it's alright I'm just bringing it up to the gate that's all-"
"Don't worry sir, it's my pleasure to help!"
And before he could say any more words, the security guy had already taken the bag from him effortlessly and began taking it to the side of the gate without much of a struggle.
And they both watched flabbergasted as a guy as nice as that unknowingly became an accomplice in a terror attack.
"... Wow you are such a jerk, look how happy that poor guy looks to help your sorry ass"
"... sigh I'm a chud.. fuck, whatever, just put yours too so we'll be done with it-"
"Where did you want to put it again sir?"
Suddenly the security called out from in front of the gate with the bag still slouched on his shoulder.
"..uhh just a little closer to that pillar is fine, thank you!"
"You're welcome sir!"
After the security guy and Takahisa finished putting the bags in place, Masa finally gave out the confirmation signal through his earpiece disguised as earbuds.
"G̊o̊t̊ i̊t̊, ẙo̊ů g̊ůẙs̊ i̊n̊ p̊o̊s̊i̊t̊i̊o̊n̊?" A grainy voice replied from the earpiece.
"Yup"
"Ål̊r̊i̊g̊h̊t̊, e̊v̊e̊r̊ẙb̊o̊d̊ẙ o̊n̊ ẙo̊ůr̊ p̊o̊s̊i̊t̊i̊o̊n̊.

When I tell people I let my autism do itself when I write I mean like this chapter right here, the amount of time I get side tracked on research and random deep dive into stuff is insane.
