Alina's POV
I tied my robe around my waist and went straight down the hall to the nursery. When I walked in, I was greeted by the sight of Aiden cooing over Leo. My baby boy seemed to be in the best mood, smiling brightly and laughing at his father.
Then, Aiden's gaze shifted to me. "You are awake," he said softly.
I nodded and stepped closer to them, wrapping my arms around my middle.
"Alina," Aiden started, his eyes moving back down to our son. "Leo will be one next month, and I want us to have a party for him." He says with so much light in his eyes causing a genuine smile breaking across my face. "That would be good."
He looked up at me, surprise written all over his features, as if he couldn't believe I had actually agreed to it so easily.
"Of course," I added, softening my tone. "It will be his first birthday."
Just then, Leo looked up and babbled, clearly forming the word, "Baba."
My eyes widened in absolute shock.
