Chapter 5 - Class-1 Disciple MAGUS!

By the time Anirudh reached the temple steps, there were already countless people sitting in the lotus position and busily cultivating with their eyes closed. For a second, Anirudh couldn't believe his eyes because humans would never sit like this inside a game.

"Maybe the smell of money is making them do all these things," Anirudh thought as he moved toward an open space and sat down. Coincidentally, the fat guy was also there, busily cultivating without even looking back.

Anirudh took out the book named "Path to Become a Wizard" from his bamboo bag and began reading it. There were only five chapters in it:

1. How to absorb the natural aura in the air to become a wizard,

2. How to use the natural aura to create magic

3. Cultivation stages to become a Supreme Magus

-4th and 5th were Two fire-based spells for beginners, which were specifically common for all the people who joined the War God Temple

Instead of reading everything, Anirudh first understood how to absorb the natural aura and use it to create magic. He closed his eyes and began controlling the meridians inside his body according to the book.

Unlike on Earth, where humans can't even perceive the meridians inside their bodies, in this game world it was very easy, even for children, to understand the meridians and the flow of aura as they could clearly see it with their naked eyes.

While cultivating, Mohan clearly saw how the natural aura was flowing like mist inside his body and reaching his dantian at the base of his stomach. It was slowly trickling down drop by drop like a water filter.

White Angel: Congratulations to player "King Anirudh" for learning the art of magic. You are Class 1 Magus. Please cultivate hard to become a Supreme Magus.

Ignoring the system message, Anirudh directly opened his eyes and snapped his fingers like a magic trick. Soon, a small candle-like fire appeared at the end of his fingers. He could now use the aura inside his body to create magic. It was a very simple and basic one, but he still felt happy to get it done in one try.

Anirudh observed his surroundings. The fat guy was still busily cultivating beside him. Nobody was free enough to care for others. Anirudh again picked up the book and went through the third chapter of the "Path to Become a Wizard." There was a clear list of cultivation stages to become a Supreme Magus:

1. The first stage is Disciple Magus. There are ten levels in it. One has to fill the ten rooms of the first chakra of the spinal ring to complete this stage.

2. The second stage is the Elder stage, where one has to fill the five rooms of the secondary chakra.

3. The third stage is Master Magus, where one has to fill the three rooms of the third chakra.

4. The fourth stage is Grand Master Magus. One has to fill the three rooms of the fourth chakra.

[Crossing the fourth stage is very difficult, as it is like a bottleneck for all wizards. One has to get the blessing of a God to cross the Grand Master Magus stage and reach the Nascent Soul Magus stage. Because creating another soul is like a rebirth for wizards. One must get the blessing of the Gods whenever the opportunity comes; it is crucial to reach the next stage of the game.]

5. The fifth stage is the Nascent Soul stage, where one has to develop a separate soul in this karma world.

6. The sixth stage is the Mega Magus stage, where one has to develop their intent and ability to defeat hundreds of Nascent Soul cultivators.

7. The seventh stage is the Supreme Magus stage, where one has the ability to defeat a hundred Mega Magus.

After going through all the levels, Anirudh closed his eyes again and observed his cultivation base. As mentioned in the book, there were ten rooms in his primary chakra, which was attached to the base of his spinal tree. The first room was glowing pure white.

"It seems like I just entered the path and have a very long way to go," Anirudh muttered as he observed the other nine empty rooms in the first chakra.

Opening his eyes, Anirudh went through the remaining chapters where two common spells were mentioned:

The first one is the fireball spell, Ignis Meta.

The fifth chapter is the Fire Cast spell, Ignis Roteta, where one can ignite their weapons or create fire with a simple wave of their hands using this spell.

Anirudh decided to try them both on the training grounds, so he immediately stood up without another thought.

"Hey, where are you going?" the fat guy suddenly cried out from behind.

Anirudh slowly turned around and said, "To the training grounds… Do you have any objections?"

"What? Why are you going to the training grounds without even learning the magic?" the fat guy asked with a big questioning look.

Instead of replying, Anirudh just snapped his fingers and showed a candle-like fire at the end of his forefinger.

The fatty's eyes went wide in surprise as he couldn't believe Anirudh was able to perceive the magic so fast and had already finished cultivating to the first stage of Disciple Magus. He immediately stood up with a look of astonishment.

"Bro, I'm really sorry. I thought you were a noob, but you are the actual pro. You learned the magic without even using those three spirit stones. I was trying to do the same to save those spirit stones, but I couldn't even reach it. Please guide me," the fat guy said in an emotional tone.

"What is there to help? It was very clear in the book. You just need to control your meridians and absorb the natural aura. I think it is as easy as eating food," Anirudh said casually.

"No, no, you don't understand, brother, because you are a pro. To control your meridians, you need maximum focus. Only pro gamers like you can have such focus."

"I'm struggling to control the flow of my aura as it disappears after reaching the halfway point. If you don't help me, I will also waste these three spirit stones like everyone else. If you help me save these three spirit stones, I will give one to you for helping me. Is it okay?" the fat guy asked with an eager look of anticipation.

Anirudh only smiled after hearing the proposal of the fat guy. Just then, he observed that his pet, the fox, had been missing from his side for a long time.
