"It would be best if you all left this place," Android 16 advised.
"How could we possibly leave? Mr. Satan still has a match to finish!" The announcer shook his head firmly.
Mr. Satan: "..."
Mr. Satan fought back the urge to punch the announcer.
Do you really think I can beat Cell?

"Isn't that right, Mr. Satan?" the announcer piped up, directing the question right at him.
His face darkening, Mr. Satan crossed his arms and struck a pose of feigned composure, nodding as he replied, "Hahaha, of course! But perhaps we should watch from a bit further away."
Goku and Cell slowly descended from the sky.
"Now the entire earth is our arena!" Cell said with a smirk. "The verdict will be decided by either surrender or death!"
"You certainly are confident, Cell," Goku said with a chuckle.
"Then, are you ready?" Cell let out a cold snort and fired an energy blast toward Goku.
Goku leaped quickly, evading the incoming blast.
Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!
Cell unleashed a barrage of energy blasts, relentlessly targeting Goku.
Goku immediately sprinted into the distance.
As he ran, Goku pointedly shot a glance toward Piccolo.
Piccolo nodded solemnly in return.
Can our plan really work?
Can Gohan truly reach that Beast form from the future visions?
Whatever, let's just give it a try first!
Rumble!
Amidst a series of explosions, Goku soared into the sky, gathering energy in both hands and aiming it directly at Cell below.
"Goku, I'd advise you not to use a Kamehameha from that position, or you'll blow up the entire Earth," Cell laughed, shouting a warning.
Goku ignored him completely, the energy in his hands growing even more intense.
"You want to play for keeps?" Cell gritted his teeth and snorted. "I'm telling you now, I won't let you hit me!"

Goku vanished from the spot with Instant Transmission.
In the blink of an eye, he reappeared directly in front of Cell.
"N-No!" Cell's face paled in shock.
"Kamehameha!"
Goku thrust his hands forward, unleashing a massive torrent of energy that slammed directly into Cell.
With an earth-shattering roar, Cell was instantly swallowed by the overwhelming power of Goku's blast.
As the smoke gradually cleared, Cell's body had been torn to shreds by the sheer force of the energy. Fleshy fragments were scattered everywhere.
Goku: "..."
Oops. I accidentally used a bit too much power.
What do I do now that I've blown Cell into bits?
There's no way to trigger Gohan's Beast form like this!

"Yeah, he did a decent job," Mr. Satan nodded in evaluation, a grin spreading across his face. "But what a shame! I was planning to take down that Cell guy with my own two hands! Oh well, at least my daughter's friend's father finished him off!"
"Mr. Satan, you certainly have a wide circle of talented friends!" The announcer gave him a thumbs-up, full of praise.
Mr. Satan's mouth twitched several times.
Slap!
Suddenly, a figure materialized behind Goku and launched a heavy kick at him.
Goku's reactions were lightning-fast; he shifted to the side, narrowly dodging the strike.
Immediately after, Goku performed several leaps to put a safe distance between himself and his opponent.
"Quick reflexes, Goku," Cell said with a light chuckle.
"You're still alive?" Goku was slightly surprised.
"Of course. I'm not that easy to kill!" Cell's grin returned. "Our match isn't over yet!"
"And here I thought I'd secured an easy win," Goku smiled, letting out a small sigh of relief. He didn't seem too bothered by it.
Seeing Cell mysteriously reappear, everyone present—except for Vegeta—was struck dumb with shock.
How did Cell come back to life?
"Is he immortal?" Trunks stared with wide eyes.
"Or is he just like Majin Buu?" Gohan whispered.
"You're right, Master Gohan. He regenerates just like Majin Buu. Maybe he has the same incredible regenerative abilities," Trunks speculated. "Back then, when Father blew Majin Buu into fragments, he was still able to recover."
"If that's the case, this guy is going to be a nightmare to kill," Gohan said in a low voice, his expression turning solemn.
"Hahaha," Cell let out a series of cold laughs. He had overheard the conversation and made no effort to hide the truth. "Since you're all so curious about how I recovered, I'll be generous enough to tell you!"
Goku nodded, letting Cell continue.
The others also leaned in, listening intently.
"But who is this Majin Buu you keep mentioning?" Cell asked, suddenly curious.
"You wouldn't know him anyway, so don't worry about it," Goku replied with a smile, choosing not to reveal anything about Majin Buu.
"Fine, he's probably just some outdated trash anyway," Cell snorted and smiled. "To tell you the truth, there is a unique mass of tissue inside my brain. As long as this core remains intact, I can regenerate my entire body! Fortunately, that core wasn't damaged in the explosion just now, which is why I was able to fully recover!"
"So, did your power increase?" Goku asked, clearly more interested in that detail.
"Power increase? What do you mean?" Cell blinked, not quite following Goku's line of questioning.
"We Saiyans have a very special physiology. If we recover from the brink of death, our strength increases significantly," Goku explained calmly. "Since you essentially just came back from the brink of death, did your energy increase?"
Cell: "..."
In that moment, Cell felt a sharp pang in his heart.
Because he didn't feel any increase in his energy at all; it was exactly the same as before.
"Hmph. If my guess is correct, Cell has already reached his limit. Even if he recovers from near-death, his strength won't rise any further," Vegeta interjected from the side. "This ability to gain power from the brink of death has its limits! Just like you, Kakarot—do you still have that ability now?"
"You're right, Vegeta. It's been a long time since I've had that kind of boost," Goku nodded thoughtfully.
"Exactly," Vegeta's lips curled into a slight smile.

Later, Vegeta nearly beat Goku Black to death, but Zamasu appeared just in time to heal him with his restoration techniques.

"From your initial form to your form after absorbing Android 17, and finally to your current perfect state, I've noticed a distinct pattern," Goku said.
"A pattern?" Cell didn't understand.
"To put it simply, you've been using Broly's super energy all along," Goku shared his theory with a smile. "For example, in your initial form, you could only use about 20% of Broly's energy. Once you absorbed Android 17, that jumped to about 50%... and so on. That's the gist of it."
Cell: "..."
"Then tell me, can I use 100% of Broly's energy now?" Cell asked with a cold snort and a knowing smirk.
"Right now... I know you've been hiding your true strength, but based on my calculations, you're doing well if you can tap into about 80% of Broly's energy," Goku answered in all seriousness.
Cell's face immediately darkened.
I might as well just call myself Broly at this point.
From my early stages to my perfect body...

Cell tumbled through the air, struggling to stabilize himself, blood trickling from his mouth.
Looking down, he saw Goku still watching him calmly from below, a slight smirk on his face.

Cell let out a series of frustrated roars, feeling like his entire world was falling apart.

"Kakarot, how do you know about Golden Frieza?" Vegeta asked through gritted teeth.
"Eh? Vegeta, wasn't Frieza taken out by you? Did he not turn into his Golden mode before he died?" Goku asked, looking at Vegeta with confusion.
"You... what did you say? Frieza can turn into a Golden mode?" Vegeta's pupils shrank, his eyes filled with horror.
"Yeah, he could do it back on Namek," Goku nodded.
Vegeta stared at Goku, his mouth hanging open, unable to find his voice for a long time.
What the hell?
Frieza could turn Golden back on Namek?
Wait... how come I didn't know that?
No wonder it felt a bit difficult when I took him down back then.

"Vegeta, don't be in such a hurry," Goku said, turning to look at him.
"Hmph, hurry or not, it's my turn! You've been fighting for over half an hour!" A vein bulged on Vegeta's forehead; he was clearly annoyed.
Especially seeing how Goku was just dilly-dallying around, Vegeta was fuming.
Just finish off that Cell guy already!
Does it really have to take this long?
Vegeta had conveniently forgotten that he had been just as slow during his own fight with Cell earlier.
"You already fought Cell earlier. Let's give someone else a chance," Goku said, flashing a grin at Vegeta.
