For those of you who read chapter 51 - Older than Fear, as soon as it was posted, do go read the final few lines again. I added something.

Well, what can I say? That... Was one great journey.
From chapter 1 to chapter 51. If you asked me two months ago if I saw myself writing a fifty chapter fic, i would've become sunny for a second. "Are you crazy!?"
There were a lot of hurdles along the way. I almost dropped the fic twice. But what kept me going were you guys. Every comment, from a simple hi, to the most genuine criticism, I loved reading all of it. And especially thanks to those who always corrected random spelling and grammar errors XD
Sometimes I'd force myself to write chapter just to see you guys' comments.
So thank you, from the bottom of my heart, to all you dear readers who have come this far with me.
I also want to thank my friend stewzin. He's helped a lot, given a lot of advice since I started writing this fic. Go check out his work, it's called Shadow Slave: Arthur Leywin.
To all the people who want to write fics of their own one day. I wish you the very best. Reading is amazing, but writing is another type of amazing. Bringing characters to life, thinking in their point of view to write dialogues, every part of it is fun.
Me personally, I was in a really difficult spot in life when I was reading SS. Writing helped a LOT.
I don't like OC/Self insert fics at all. Most of the ones I've read are basically op MCs with wish fulfilment shit, and harems. I've probably only seen very few fics that are good.
So I decided to write my own self-insert fic that was actually good, and not some power fantasy slop. I hope I did just that. This fic wasn't exactly my dream, more of a challenge lol. But I did enjoy writing it.
At some point, I got obsessed with the numbers. Collections, views, kudos, comments. Which is one of the main reasons I came close to dropping the fic. But I had to remember why I was writing in the first place. It was to put my thoughts and ideas onto something meaningful.
My actual dream is to write a novel of my own one day, and writing fics are the perfect practice runs in my opinion. My writing skills have improved a lot over the time, but I still have a lot more to improve. I'd say I'm not an amateur anymore, but I still have a lot to learn.
I won't be dropping the fic, but I'll be going on hiatus for a while. Maybe a month?
I want to write a different story. An AU maybe. I also have to plan a lot of shit for what comes after the Forgotten Shore, and if I want it to be good, I need time. Plus I just started college, so gotta focus on that too. Hope you guys don't forget me by then XD
About rewriting this fic, I don't know if I will. But do let me know, do you guys want me to rewrite this?
Things like character development (I didn't show Effie a lot, didn't have too many povs, and also rushed most of the story after the dark city.), the First Nightmare. There's a lot I can improve, but I don't know if I have the motivation to rewrite it.

Now moving forward, I want some opinions of your own. The following things, are something that I already have a vague plan for, but I'd like some suggestions.
Leon's ascension path. His awakened, ascended or transcended abilities.
The Second Nightmare.
Aspect Legacy.
Anything else, going forward. Romantic interests, things you want to see happen overall.

So in conclusion, hope you enjoyed the Forgotten Shore Arc. Do leave a review if you can :)
Once again, thank you all for supporting me so far. Wouldn't have made it this far without you guys.
