Chapter 1 - life change truth'

The Light We Share

In a small village surrounded by hills, there lived a humble man named Arjun. He was not rich, nor powerful, but he had something rare — a heart that cared for others.

Every morning, Arjun would wake up before sunrise and walk through the village. He would help the old farmer carry water, teach children under a banyan tree, and sit beside the sick to comfort them. People often asked him, "Why do you work so hard for others when you gain nothing in return?"

Arjun would smile and reply, "When one lamp lights another, it does not lose its own light."

One year, a severe storm hit the village. Houses were destroyed, crops were lost, and hope seemed to fade. Fear spread faster than the storm itself. But Arjun did not lose faith. He began rebuilding homes with his own hands. Slowly, others joined him. Seeing his courage, the villagers united.

Within weeks, the village stood stronger than before — not because of wealth, but because of unity and compassion.

Years later, when Arjun grew old, the village had changed. The children he taught had become teachers. The farmers helped one another without being asked. Kindness had become a tradition.

When Arjun passed away, the villagers gathered and realized something powerful — one person's selfless actions had transformed an entire community.

The universal truth they learned was simple:

True human welfare begins when we stop asking, "What do I get?" and start asking, "How can I help?"

Because kindness is the only wealth that grows when shared.
