"I don't really understand, but I get the general idea," Goku muttered, clenching his fist. Then he asked, "So when will this Beerus show up?"
"At the earliest, ten years. At the latest, twenty," Old Supreme Kai replied.
"I see! Then I'll train hard!" Goku said firmly.

A being even more terrifying than the Shadow Dragons might appear.

"Well then, I'm heading out, Old Supreme Kai," Goku said, waving goodbye.
"Go on, go on," Old Supreme Kai waved him off.

Old Supreme Kai walked farther away. Then, reaching into his clothes, he pulled out a crystal ball.
He placed both hands on it and began chanting softly.
"Pop!"
An image appeared inside.
"Well, well, Old Supreme Kai," a gentle voice said with a smile. "So you've finally been released from the sword?"
"Lord Whis! Hello, hello!" Old Supreme Kai laughed.
"Congratulations on being free," Whis said. "Did you contact me for something important?"
"Yes. There's something very important I'd like to discuss," Old Supreme Kai replied, then told Whis everything Goku had said.
Whis listened quietly.
After a moment of silence, he spoke.
"It seems that the timeline Mr. Son Goku came from is a very special one," Whis concluded.
"Just as I suspected!" Old Supreme Kai nodded. Then he asked seriously, "In that timeline, there were no Gods of Destruction, no Angels… and no Lord Zeno either, right?"
"Yes, exactly," Whis replied. "There are more timelines than the hairs on your body, Old Supreme Kai. Strange ones appearing is perfectly normal."
Old Supreme Kai: "..."

"Ahem… Has Lord Beerus awakened?" Old Supreme Kai quickly changed the subject.
"Not yet," Whis shook his head. "Judging by his sleeping habits, he'll probably sleep another twenty years."
"So… the Shadow Dragons won't be born in our timeline, right?" Old Supreme Kai asked.
"That's correct," Whis nodded. Then he warned, "However, Goku's reincarnation must not be revealed to others. If Lord Zeno finds out, he might erase Goku… or even the entire Seventh Universe."

Goku returned in a flash.
"Goku? Where did you go?" Kami asked quickly.
"Ah… Kami… I went to the Supreme Kai Realm to talk with Supreme Kai," Goku replied, scratching his head.
"Supreme… Supreme Kai?!" Kami's eyes widened in shock. "I've heard he's an even greater god than King Kai! He should be the greatest god in this universe!"
"Yeah," Goku nodded. Then he changed the subject, looking serious. "Kami… I just remembered. You were the one who removed my tail back then, right?"
"That's correct," Kami admitted.
"Then… do you have a way to make it grow back?" Goku asked eagerly.
