"Crash—!"
In an instant, the small island was completely blasted apart by Frieza's massive energy.
It sank beneath the water, turning into a vast lake.
Waves surged violently, water spraying everywhere.
Frieza's pupils narrowed slightly as he frowned deeply.
He had clearly seen that before his attack reached Son Goku, Goku had already vanished with the others.
Then, Frieza turned his gaze with interest toward Piccolo, who was still hovering in midair.
This guy didn't leave?
"Namekian, you're quite brave, aren't you? You actually chose to stay behind," Frieza said with a smile.
Piccolo's expression grew increasingly grave.
I miscalculated.
I should've left with them just now.
This Frieza… he's far more terrifying than I imagined.
"Whoosh!"
In the blink of an eye, Goku had already brought Gohan and the others back to the Sacred World of the Kais.
"Shin!" Goku shouted as soon as he arrived.
Shin: "..."
Shin froze for a moment, then quickly rushed over and saw Yamcha lying on the ground, twitching nonstop.
"Quick, Shin, help heal him!" Goku urged.
Shin's face darkened.
You really don't hold back at all, do you?
Still, he didn't refuse and was about to step forward.
"Let Dende do it instead," the Grand Elder suddenly said. "Although he's young, he's extremely talented."
Dende: "????"
Dende looked completely confused.
"Dende?" Goku froze, then lit up with joy.
Of course he knew Dende. In his previous life, they had been quite close.
Yamcha: "..."
Hey… could you heal me first before switching doctors?
I'm in a lot of pain, okay?
I think I'm about to die here.
"Dende, come here," the Grand Elder said after checking Yamcha's condition and confirming he wouldn't die immediately.
"Yes… Grand Elder!" Dende hurried over.
The Grand Elder gently placed a hand on Dende's head, and a mysterious invisible power enveloped him.
In an instant, Dende's hidden potential was fully awakened.
Clenching his fists, Dende moved to Yamcha's side. Healing light bloomed from his hands and covered Yamcha's body.
Yamcha's injuries began healing at a visible speed.
Gohan, Krillin, and the others stared in amazement, clicking their tongues in admiration and praising nonstop.
Yamcha's mouth twitched as cold sweat poured down his face.
Could you guys stop talking right now?
I feel like I'm lying on an operating table as a critical patient.
"Gohan, Krillin, you stay here for now!" Seeing that Yamcha was out of danger, Goku spoke quickly.
"Mm, Dad… Uncle Piccolo is still on Namek," Gohan said anxiously.
"I'm going back!" Goku said, then vanished with Instant Transmission.
After Goku left, Old Kai, Supreme Kai, Shin, and the Namekians gathered around, asking what had happened.
Wasn't Goku confident he could defeat Frieza?
Why had someone gotten seriously injured?
"Goku said he doesn't know why, but Frieza suddenly got a lot stronger," Krillin said, rubbing his bald head as he relayed Goku's words.
"Maybe Goku didn't fully understand Frieza's true strength…" Tien sighed.
"It's terrifying… absolutely terrifying," Yamcha said, still shaken. "That so-called Emperor of the Universe… he's absurdly powerful. In front of him, I'm like an ant. I couldn't resist at all."
Hearing their account, the Supreme Kai also felt puzzled.
But soon, he smiled confidently, looking unconcerned.
After all, in his view, Goku's Super Saiyan form should be more than enough to handle Frieza.
"Really? Even Goku says that?" Old Kai paced back and forth, thinking deeply. "Then something's definitely wrong."
He suddenly pulled out a crystal ball from his pants and casually placed it on a rock.
Krillin and the others stared wide-eyed.
How did you pull something that big out of there?!
Old Kai raised his hands over the crystal ball and began chanting softly.
"Snap!"
An image appeared inside the ball.
It showed Frieza and the others on Namek.
Krillin and the others immediately craned their necks to look.
So this perverted old man actually has incredible abilities too…
"By the way, where exactly are we?" Krillin looked around curiously.
"Doesn't feel like Earth," Yamcha muttered.
"Yeah," Tien nodded.
"This is the Sacred World of the Kais," the Grand Elder explained.
"The Sacred World of the Kais?"
Everyone froze.
They had just left King Kai's planet.
And now they were here?
That jump was way too fast.
"I heard from King Kai that above him there's a Grand Kai…" Krillin scratched his head.
"Supreme Kai governs all the Kais and is the highest god of this universe," Shin said proudly.
Krillin and the others were stunned.
So this old man is actually that important?
No wonder—he really didn't look like it.
"Indeed… not simple at all," Old Kai muttered, studying Frieza through the crystal ball.
"Is something wrong, Ancestor?" Supreme Kai asked in confusion.
"Idiot! Can't you see that Frieza has gotten stronger?!" Old Kai snapped, glaring.
"Really? I didn't notice…" Supreme Kai laughed awkwardly.
Could you not scold me in front of everyone?
You're ruining my image…
"Idiot! I told you to study more, but you never listen!" Old Kai barked.
Supreme Kai lowered his head in embarrassment, his face red, unable to reply.
A brief silence followed.
"Goku should be fine, right?" Supreme Kai said weakly. "His strength now should be close to mine… even if Frieza got stronger, how strong could he really be?"
Old Kai didn't even want to answer anymore.
How did this guy ever become Supreme Kai?
Why does he understand nothing at all?
