Synopsis
Claire Jian, the daughter of the richest Duke. When she was born, she was born sick and weak, that's why she's cared for more than her elder siblings. Luckily, Claire survived and recovered at year 3, but began saying stuff about ghosts and spirits, everyone thought she's just joking or seeing things since she's a kid after all.
She grew up cold and isolated from the public, all because her father wanted her to be safe and home schooled, not knowing how it affects her mental being. Fortunately, at the age 14, she was finally granted advantage to the outside world, only for a small while (4 hours). At the same age, she had gotten a Shadow Trace, it floated down to her lap while she was reading in the garden under the blossom tree, but her father strictly says that she shouldn't use it.
now (16 years old), she's a healthy and intelligent girl, her father stretched her time being outside to six or eight hours. Fortunately, Lady Claire managed to get into a prestigious academy despite being home schooled, she spent years reading books in her estate's library. And now, she's always top 1 in intelligence, even in the whole academy, every single test she takes is a perfect 100.
Just for information, at the time where humanity was nearing extinction, three heroes arrived and slayed most of the monsters. The three heroes' Identities are still unknown, but what's clear is their codenames are: The leader, Fire King. The Support, Winomire. then the sacrifice, Zey.
The world of Hever is mystical, having 7 total islands.
Gemstones, or Traces, are special stones that have elemental power in them, and a person can only wield one or two, nothing more, since the magic mana of the stones can be too strong for a normal mortal's body.
The main elements are: Fire, Wind, Earth, Water, Ice (Water varient, pure ice varient), Electric, Nature (Earth varient, Leaf varient). It is possibly to get elements that are not in the main circle. Electric mixed with ice or fire creates an overload reaction, where it makes an explosion. Water clashed with ice would make a wet target freeze temporarily. Water meeting electricity would obviously send shocks to a wet target or something that is wet. Fire with ice would just instinguish the fire, same goes with water. Wind can mix with anything, powering its force and magical mana. Nature can burn from fire.
Common monsters: Jartics, human like creatures with completely black skin, can come in many size, and aren't the smartest. They always have a mask on their face. They can be in different varients; big shielder, small shielder, sword wielder, big axe wielder, fired wooden bat wielder, wind/water/fire/nature types, some are weird Jartics that actually wears clothes. Jartics can be smart, since they can build their own huts and hunting towers, but overall, they're dumber than most monsters.
Slimes: can come in many varients, big or small, can have the elements of the main circle.
The Circle is a short term for the main elements, Wind, Fire, Water, Earth, Nature, Electric, Ice.
Monsters don't need gemstones to use powers, they're from another world so they can use it without problem.
