Chapter 4: Face in the Cold Air
Rohan tried to scream, but no sound came out.
The hand disappeared, and the AC stopped.
Everything became silent.
Suddenly, cold air blew strongly, even though the AC was off.
In the misty cold air, Rohan saw a face forming.
It was a thin man with dark eyes.
The ghost spoke softly, "I cannot leave… I am trapped…"
Rohan gathered courage and asked, "What do you want?"
The ghost replied, "Turn it off forever…"
The next morning, Rohan told his father everything. This time, his father believed him because the AC remote was broken, yet the AC had been running all night.
They called a mechanic to remove the AC completely.
