After the meeting inside the grand hall, the room finally emptied, leaving only Aldus, Sebastian, and Dominick seated around the round table, glasses of wine in hand.
"You've already marked her?" Sebastian asked casually, his tone curious but steady.
Aldus turned to him, fingers playing idly with the rim of his glass, then nodded in quiet confirmation.
Dominick's lips curved into a mischievous grin. "How was it? How many rounds did you last?"
Before he could even laugh, Sebastian smacked the back of his head. "You and your filthy thoughts!"
Dominick rubbed the spot, still chuckling. "What? It's a normal question between men. Don't act so uptight."
Sebastian only sighed, rolling his eyes in exasperation.
Aldus spoke up, his tone cool but commanding. "Enough nonsense, b*stard. We're here to discuss your plans—and why you suddenly decided to join the Lunar Games."
He knew these two well enough to recognize when they were hiding something. They never did anything without reason.
