The revelation struck Adrian like a hammer to the chest.
For a long moment, he simply stared at Seraphine, his mind refusing to connect the pieces she had casually placed before him.

He slowly lowered himself back onto the stool, his expression hardening.
"How is that possible?" Adrian asked as he took his seat.
Seraphine let out a soft laugh, as though the answer amused her.
"The answer is pretty simple, I fucked a Lycan and then she was the result" seraphine said but Adrian's confusion told her she needed to paint the full picture.
"One night I ventured into the dark market to sell potions and other artifacts as usual. I saw a boy involved in a fight. He was heavily wounded after it ended and was left there to die. I took pity on him. You know, at first I only wanted to use him."
She lifted the goblet to her lips before continuing.
