"Who the hell are you?!"
"Are you insane?!"
"We finally found a place that's easy to defend, and you just smashed the damn door open?!"
A burly guy glared at Julian with clear hostility. He was Kenji, the star of the sports department.
These athletes had fought their way out of the gym and finally secured this spot. Not only was it easy to defend, there were also over a dozen beautiful girls from the flight attendant class inside.
As long as they could find food, this place was basically heaven.
And now… someone had just smashed open heaven's gate with a hammer.
If the door couldn't be fixed…
Heaven might turn into hell.
"Hana, take a look. Anyone here who's messed with you before?"
Julian ignored Kenji completely and calmly turned to Hana.
"Yes!"
"Him! Him! And him!"
Puffing up her cheeks, Hana pointed at three of the sports guys, including Kenji.
They'd all spread rumors about her after failing to win her over.
"Oh? Isn't this Hana?"
"Used to act all pure and innocent, and now you're delivering yourself to us?"
"Brothers!"
"Take that guy out first!"
"I don't care anymore! Kill the man, then we'll have our fun with the girl right here!"
"If we're going to die anyway, might as well enjoy it first!"
Kenji rolled up his sleeves, ready to move.
The other athletes behind him cracked their knuckles, eager to join in.
"Ah… what do we do…"
"They're going to hurt us…"
"Outside are zombies… inside are beasts…"
"I'd rather be bitten to death by zombies!"
"Wuwu… but I'm scared of pain…"
The flight attendant girls started trembling in fear.
They were so scared they even forgot about their hunger.
Even though they were all over 170 cm tall, inside they were still just timid girls.
"Don't be afraid. Hana and that uncle are actually pretty strong."
Chizuru tried to reassure them, having seen what the two could do.
The girls glanced at Julian, then at Hana…
…and lowered their heads, continuing to cry.
No matter how strong they were, there were only two of them.
Even with that hammer, they couldn't possibly handle being surrounded by so many people.
"Hana, make it quick."
"I want to get back and take a bath soon."
Julian couldn't help thinking back to their bath earlier that morning.
That had been… pretty nice.
"Master, you…"
"Okay!"
Hana's face flushed slightly, her heart lighting up.
Looks like Master really liked that kind of thing.
Feeling acknowledged filled her with energy.
She needed to deal with these annoying guys fast!
She tried to summon claws like Mafuyu…
…but nothing happened.
Forget it. Her fists would do just fine.
Hana stepped forward to face Kenji directly.
Kenji froze for a moment.
What the hell?
That guy with the hammer wasn't coming out, so he sent Hana to die instead?
Hmph. Just because she's a woman doesn't mean I won't hit her.
Beat her half to death first, then enjoy the rest.
Kenji swung his metal rod straight at her head.
Knock her out, then have fun.
Clang!
With a sharp metallic sound, Hana raised her hand and blocked the strike.
Kenji stared at the rod in disbelief.
It had bent.
She blocked it with her bare hand… and bent the rod?
Is she even human?
In the split second he was stunned, Hana threw a punch.
Her fist blasted straight through the center of his chest.
Fragments of his spine shot out behind him.
Kenji stared at the arm buried in his chest, unable to believe it.
He wanted to curse, but before he could even speak, he collapsed.
Everyone in the small theater was completely stunned.
Punching straight through someone's chest…
Even trained boxers couldn't do that.
The other sports students who had rushed forward froze mid-step, goosebumps crawling over their skin.
"Run!"
Someone shouted.
The aggressive group instantly turned and fled toward the stage.
There was a back door behind it. Sure, there were zombies outside…
…but whatever was in here was far more terrifying.
Hana didn't hesitate. She stepped onto the backs of the seats and leapt forward.
One…
Two…
She cut them down one after another.
By the time the last guy made it onto the stage, she had already caught up.
Under the stage lights, the scene almost looked theatrical.
"P-please… don't kill me…"
"I never spread rumors about you…"
The guy had wet his pants, shaking uncontrollably.
"Maybe you didn't spread them…"
"But you listened, didn't you?"
Hana slashed her hand across his neck.
His throat and spine were severed in one clean motion.
Barely over a minute had passed.
More than a dozen sports students…
Not a single one left alive.
The remaining survivors stood there, dumbfounded.
"Chizuru… is that really Hana from the dorm across from us…?"
One of the girls asked, her voice trembling.
She used to blush just from talking too much.
But now…
This was terrifying.
Even Chizuru felt like waves were crashing inside her heart at the sight.
But she thought one step further than the others.
Hana and her master were this strong…
If they followed them…
They might actually survive.
On stage, Hana bowed slightly to Julian, like she had just finished a performance.
Then she wiped her hands, skipped back to his side, and instantly returned to her usual cute, obedient self.
"All done."
"Let's go back and take a bath."
Julian rubbed her head.
"Mm!!!"
At the mention of a bath, Hana's mood shot up instantly.
"W-wait!"
"Hana, can we come with you?"
Chizuru gathered her courage and stepped forward.
Hana hesitated, then turned to look at Julian.
Julian felt a jolt in his chest.
Thirteen tall, fair, long-legged girls…
If he brought them back, would he even get any rest?
He'd die from exhaustion.
"Master… they were really good to me before…"
"When people bullied me, they helped me."
"They even lent me shampoo when I ran out…"
"Maybe… we can take them with us?"
Hana couldn't quite bring herself to refuse, so she spoke up for them.
"If you're willing to take us…"
"We'll do anything."
Chizuru said it through gritted teeth, her face flushed.
For the sake of survival, she was all in.
At least Julian looked a lot better than those sports guys.
Julian froze.
Anything?
That's exactly what I'm afraid of.
"....."
