Chapter 203 - Chapter 203: Isshiki

After the water flow finished enveloping Urashiki, it transformed into a pillar of water shooting straight into the sky. A short while later, a light rain began to fall from above.

"What is this?"

Feeling the raindrops sliding down, Nagato and Obito—who had experienced something similar before—immediately understood Furina's intention. After a brief moment of thought, Momoshiki and Urashiki also realized what was happening.

This woman was using Urashiki as a reference to search for other Ōtsutsuki. But searching in this way—did she plan to cover the entire world?

Thanks to the strength Furina had displayed earlier, neither Momoshiki nor Urashiki doubted whether she could actually do it. But so what? She definitely wouldn't find anyone.

After all, the only Ōtsutsuki who had genuinely come to this planet were the three of them. The only other one worth mentioning was that traitor Kaguya, but the method Furina was using clearly wasn't aimed at finding her.

"I didn't expect there really would be one. Why did you lie to me?"

Just as Momoshiki and the others had thought, rain began falling across the entire ninja world at the same time. However, the one thing that differed from their expectations was that Furina actually did find an existence with a presence similar to Urashiki's.

"How is that possible? I can guarantee that only the three of us came here this time."

"Are you saying I got it wrong? Then why don't you go over and take a look yourself?"

Looking at Urashiki, whose desire to survive was quite obvious, Furina merely smiled. Forget whether there really was another Ōtsutsuki now—even if there wasn't, she would still get rid of him.

These two clearly weren't good people. She had no interest in playing some redemption game with them. The only reason she hadn't killed them yet was because they might still be of some use.

The place Furina sensed the target was located at the edge of the Land of Fire. With her current strength, even though she had to bring along the two burdens Momoshiki and Urashiki, it didn't take her much time at all to reach the destination.

A village.

Upon arrival, Furina immediately locked onto the target. Or rather, the other party's current aura was already so out of place among the villagers that he stood out like a crane among chickens.

"How should I address you? Ōtsutsuki-something, perhaps? Not long ago I just met a few of your clansmen, and they insisted on bringing me to meet you, so I had no choice but to comply respectfully."

There was no need for Furina to remind him—Jigen had already noticed Momoshiki and Urashiki being dragged along by Furina the moment they landed. Both of them had already entered combat-ready forms, yet their disheveled appearances clearly showed that even in that state, they were no match for her.

"I already overestimated her as much as possible, but I still underestimated her in the end. A mere human—how can she be this strong?"

Furina's name—or rather, Ōtsutsuki Isshiki—had heard of her long ago. After learning that she had single-handedly defeated the leader of the Akatsuki organization, who possessed the Rinnegan, he had greatly raised her threat level in his mind.

But he never imagined that now even Momoshiki and Urashiki had been defeated by her—and judging from her demeanor, it hadn't even been particularly taxing. More importantly, she had actually managed to find him.

He didn't believe for a second Furina's talk about Urashiki and Momoshiki "selling him out." Perhaps they would do such a thing, but only if they knew he was still alive. How could the two of them, who had only just arrived here, possibly know?

So there was only one truth: she had found him through her own method.

"The rain?"

Recalling the inexplicable sudden rainfall earlier, Isshiki already had his answer. Right now, the most important thing was how to deal with this uninvited guest standing before him.
