Chapter 138 - Chapter 138: Preparations for Going to the Demon Continent

"Eh?" Roxy froze upon hearing Dan Feng's words.

She thought to herself: Dan Feng is actually interested in the Demon Continent? That place is extremely dangerous and boring… Wait! He must be saying he's interested in the Demon Continent just so he can meet my parents! The thought flashed through Roxy's mind in an instant—she immediately guessed the true intention behind Dan Feng's words.

Dan Feng seemed unaware of Roxy's inner thoughts. He continued gazing at her with that slightly serious look, apparently waiting for her response.

Roxy let out a helpless sigh. Since Dan Feng had already put it that way, she couldn't really refuse.

So she forced a small smile and said, "Alright then. Let's go to the Demon Continent later." Even though part of her didn't want Dan Feng to see the flaws she had back in her tribe, as long as it was something Dan Feng wanted, she felt she could agree to anything.

In Dan Feng's previous world, this mindset was called being "lovestruck."

Hearing her answer, a faint smile appeared on Dan Feng's face. He quickly said, "Then we can prepare a bit and go. I can fly, so the journey shouldn't take too long."

However, Roxy suddenly interrupted him and shook her head. "No, no! There's still something you need to learn first!"

Dan Feng looked puzzled and asked, "What do I need to learn?"

Without hesitation, Roxy answered, "Demon God Language."

Demon God Language was the common language of the Demon Continent, used primarily by demon races. Humans on the Millis Continent and Central Continent used Human Language, beastmen used Beast God Language, and the Begaritt Continent used Fighting God Language.

As for the Heaven Race and Sea Race, no books had recorded their languages yet.

"Alright. I'll go buy some books to study in a bit," Dan Feng said seriously.

"No need to go to that trouble. I can teach you step by step," Roxy said with a slight upward curve of her lips, a soft smile appearing. She seemed very interested in her own suggestion.

After all, being able to demonstrate her expertise was very fulfilling for her—especially since the person she would be teaching was Dan Feng. She could also use this chance to experience what it felt like to teach him.

After talking for a while, Dan Feng combined his own ideas with Roxy's suggestions. After careful consideration, they finalized the most ideal renovation plan.

"The overall style of the mansion should create a warm and cozy atmosphere. The courtyard doesn't need to be too elaborate—just arrange it in the standard Millishion style."

"The living room needs a very large window—ideally floor-to-ceiling—so the room can get plenty of natural light and have an open view."

"For the kitchen, the current open design is already quite good. Everything else can follow a normal layout," Dan Feng described his ideas in detail to the renovation team leader.

The leader listened carefully while mentally sketching out the overall renovation blueprint.

He committed every detail Dan Feng mentioned firmly to memory, not daring to miss a single thing.

Once Dan Feng finished, the leader immediately turned and left without another word.

He was in such a hurry because he couldn't wait to relay these ideas to his workers so they could start preparing the necessary materials ahead of time. That way, the renovation work could proceed smoothly.

Dan Feng's preferred renovation style was very rare in Millishion. The most common style there was extravagant luxury—how ostentatious, the better. Yet Dan Feng wanted something warm and cozy. This unfamiliar style actually made the leader a little excited.

Afterward, Dan Feng and Roxy left their mansion and returned to the tavern.

They then went straight upstairs to Dan Feng's room without delay.

Roxy used Earth Magic to create something like a blackboard in the room—except it was made of stone.

"Dan Feng, please listen carefully. Demon God Language is actually very simple," Roxy said. She then used Earth Magic again to make a small pointer stick—the kind used to indicate points on a board.

Dan Feng sat on a chair, quietly listening to Roxy's lesson. The feeling was a little strange yet novel to him.

Of course, for someone as well-read as Dan Feng, learning a language was child's play.

As long as someone told him all the key points and essentials of the language, he could quickly memorize and master them.

At first, Roxy approached teaching Dan Feng with full dedication and no reservations.

She explained every word and every grammar point in detail, afraid that Dan Feng wouldn't understand or might miss something important.

However, as time passed, Roxy found herself growing more and more dumbfounded.

She could hardly believe that in just four short hours, Dan Feng had already learned the language!

Not only could he understand every sentence Roxy said, he could also use the language freely in conversation!

Every time Roxy spoke a sentence in Demon God Language, Dan Feng could memorize it perfectly like a copy machine. He could even flexibly break down the sentences, applying the words and grammar to other sentences.

This left Roxy marveling at Dan Feng's learning ability—it was simply beyond ordinary people.

In this way, with astonishing speed and talent, Dan Feng successfully mastered Demon God Language.

By now, Roxy was so exhausted that she collapsed onto Dan Feng's bed. She felt her entire body had gone numb.

Although this wasn't the first time she had witnessed Dan Feng's learning talent, this was a completely new language!

It had taken her a full half year to learn Human Language back then!

This made her feel the huge gap between people. But then she thought—such a genius was actually her lover—and that gap was instantly shattered by the little angel version of Roxy in her mind.

"Dan Feng, you're amazing. You learned Demon God Language in just a few hours," Roxy said, lying on the bed and staring at the ceiling. She spoke in Demon God Language to Dan Feng.

"It's alright. It really wasn't that hard," Dan Feng replied, also in Demon God Language.

"In that case, we can head to the Demon Continent tomorrow," Roxy said slowly.

"Mm," Dan Feng responded.

"I have an idea."

"What is it?"

"Dan Feng, do you want to experience the same journey I took when traveling through the Demon Continent?" Roxy suddenly recalled everything that had happened after she left home at age 14. It had truly been a journey full of twists and turns.

"What do you mean?" Dan Feng asked, puzzled. Did she mean retracing the exact route she had taken to get here?

"Starting from Zant Port, then reaching Rikaris Town, and finally arriving at the Migurd tribe's settlement," Roxy explained.

That journey had been full of hardships for her. If not for the help of her previous adventurer party, with her naivety at the time, she would never have survived alone on the Demon Continent.
