As Dan Feng slowly ascended the stairs to the second floor, his footsteps echoed in the empty hallway.
At the same time, the landlady and her group were cheerfully walking out of Roxy's room, their faces beaming with satisfied smiles, clearly very pleased with the room's decorating style.
Roxy's gaze immediately caught Dan Feng standing at the top of the second-floor staircase.
Her aqua-blue eyes lit up, the corners of her mouth unconsciously rising as she quickly walked over to Dan Feng.
"Thanks for your hard work, Dan Feng!" Roxy's voice carried a hint of playful coquetry, making one's heart soften with affection.
Dan Feng smiled faintly and replied softly, "It's fine. Washing dishes isn't particularly tiring." Though his tone was calm, the gentleness within it was like a spring breeze.
At that moment, Roxy extended her slender hand, and Dan Feng naturally took it in his own.
Dan Feng turned his head, smiling as he looked toward the landlady and the other two, a trace of anticipation in his eyes. He asked, "So, everyone, how do you like the way our house is decorated? Compared to other houses in Millishion, isn't it quite different?"
The landlady nodded earnestly and said, "It's really nice. This decorating style is something I've never seen before—it feels very unique. Once Lifa comes back, I'd like to buy a house and decorate it in this style too." Her words revealed her genuine fondness for the house's aesthetic.
Mayibeia and Galdaruf also felt that the house's decor was truly impressive—far cozier than their own home.
"Alright, it's getting late. We won't disturb you and Roxy's rest any longer." The landlady said with a smile, then gently tugged at Mayibeia's sleeve, signaling her to head downstairs together.
Seeing this, Galdaruf quickly followed behind them, his steps light as he descended the stairs.
Dan Feng, upon noticing, hurriedly said to the landlady, "We'll see you off." With that, he took Roxy's hand and walked downstairs with her.
When they reached the doorway, the landlady suddenly stopped, turned to Dan Feng—who still wanted to escort them further—and said, "Alright, no need to see us out any farther. We can get back on our own. You two rest early."
Mayibeia chimed in, "Don't worry—we'll make sure the landlady gets home safely."
Galdaruf nodded in agreement with Mayibeia's words.
Hearing the two of them, Dan Feng finally relaxed and stopped in his tracks.
He said to the three of them, "In that case, you're welcome to come for dinner again next time."
Mayibeia laughed and replied, "Of course! Dan Feng's cooking is so delicious—we'll definitely be thinking about it all the time!"
With that, the landlady and the other two turned and left, their figures gradually disappearing into the night.
Dan Feng leaned against the doorframe, quietly watching them walk farther and farther away until they were completely out of sight.
Only after confirming that the landlady and the others had gone far did Dan Feng slowly turn around and lead Roxy back inside.
The house was quiet, with only the sound of their footsteps echoing.
"Phew, I ate so much at dinner that I'm sweating a little. I want to take a bath first." Roxy sighed, then took out her white panties and the white nightdress she wore for sleeping from a scroll, preparing to head to the bathroom for a bath.
But when the topic of bathing came up, an item he had never used before suddenly flashed into Dan Feng's mind—a bathtub.
In his previous life, bathtubs were a luxury only the wealthy could afford, so he had never had the chance to use one.
Now, however, he possessed the ability to create a bathtub, which filled him with anticipation.
"Wait a moment, Roxy." Dan Feng quickly called out to Roxy, who was about to go take her bath.
"Hm? What's wrong?" Roxy stopped, turning to look at Dan Feng with puzzled eyes.
Dan Feng didn't answer right away. Instead, he slowly walked toward the bathroom.
Roxy's gaze followed his movement, and a certain thought couldn't help but rise in her mind.
'Hm? Could Dan Feng want to bathe with me?' Once the idea appeared, a faint blush instantly spread across Roxy's cheeks—her typical sign of shyness.
Though the idea of bathing together with Dan Feng sounded quite nice, they hadn't yet fully bared themselves to each other, so the thought still made her feel a bit embarrassed.
Even so, deep down, she wouldn't actually refuse Dan Feng.
Thus, after a brief hesitation, Roxy quickly stepped forward and dashed toward the bathroom.
However, when she burst into the bathroom, she was surprised to find that Dan Feng wasn't undressing as she had imagined. Instead, he stood there, seemingly using magic to create something.
"Making a bathtub for the first time, and it actually succeeded on the first try." Dan Feng stared at the pristine white bathtub he had just personally created, filled with a sense of disbelief.
He had only been testing it out, thinking that if he couldn't make one with a stone-like texture, he might as well use iron instead.
Yet in that moment, a flawless white hollow rectangular object suddenly appeared in the previously empty bathroom—it was exactly the bathtub he had envisioned!
"Eh? Dan Feng, what is this?" Roxy, standing nearby, was drawn in by the sudden appearance of the white rectangle. She looked at it curiously, completely puzzled about its purpose.
Dan Feng explained to Roxy, "This is a bathtub—it's specially for soaking in the bath."
Immediately after, Dan Feng swiftly cast a combined fire-and-water magic. In an instant, he released comfortably warm water.
The hot water poured in like a waterfall, continuously filling the bathtub until it reached about eighty percent capacity. Only then did Dan Feng stop the spell.
"There. Now you just need to immerse your whole body in it, and you can bathe." Dan Feng pointed at the bathtub and said to Roxy.
But his feet unconsciously moved toward the door—he clearly intended to give Roxy space to bathe alone.
After all, since Roxy was going to bathe, it was better for him to step out considerately.
"Ugh, I was thinking all sorts of random things again. How could Dan Feng possibly be that kind of person~" Roxy patted her flushed cheeks, then closed the bathroom door and began to undress from her usual clothes.
She slowly stepped into the white rectangle. The water temperature was just right, and Roxy's small feet finally relaxed in that moment.
When her entire body sank into the hot water, a wave of comfort instantly swept over her whole body.
"So comfortable! It feels like all the fatigue has been washed away!"
