Chapter 185 - Chapter 185: Massage in Daily Life

In the months following Dan Feng and Roxy moving into their new home, their relationship had soared steadily.

One day, under the bright afternoon sunshine in Millishion, Roxy suddenly felt a burst of inspiration and wanted to add some practical items to their spacious home.

Thus, she set off alone to the commercial district of Millishion, full of enthusiasm for an enjoyable shopping trip.

Before leaving, she mentioned it to Dan Feng. He asked if she wanted him to come along, but Roxy decisively refused.

She could handle shopping on her own.

The commercial district was filled with beastmen and humans, with all sorts of shops displaying a dazzling array of goods that caught the eye at every turn.

For some reason, during this period, many items Roxy had never seen before appeared in Millishion—rumored to have come from various continents.

Roxy excitedly wandered between the streets, going from shop to shop, carefully selecting the items that interested her.

However, as time passed, Roxy realized she had unknowingly browsed the entire street!

Her steps grew heavier, her feet began to ache as if weighted with lead.

Though she had walked long distances on foot before, for some reason, shopping alone today made her feel unusually exhausted—both physically and mentally.

By the time Roxy finally finished shopping and returned home, she was so tired she felt like she was falling apart.

She rushed into the living room like a gust of wind, completely ignoring Dan Feng's puzzled look, then flopped onto the sofa like an exhausted kitten with a 'thud,' burying her face deep into the cushions.

"What's wrong, Roxy?" Dan Feng asked with concern upon seeing this.

He felt something was off with Roxy today—she seemed particularly fatigued.

"Mm, Dan Feng, I shopped all afternoon... so tired." Roxy lifted her head from the sofa and replied weakly, her soft, frail tone instinctively evoking pity.

"Where does it hurt?"

"My feet..." Roxy mumbled, her voice growing smaller, as if she might fall asleep any second.

Hearing this, Dan Feng fell into thought.

"I have a way to relieve localized fatigue. If you'd like, do you want to try it?" Dan Feng asked Roxy uncertainly.

Roxy immediately raised her head, her eyes sparkling as she looked at Dan Feng.

"What method? I want to try!"

Under Dan Feng's gaze, Roxy slowly sat up, looking at him expectantly.

"I have several methods—there's a hydrotherapy massage for relaxing body and mind, and also a high-temperature massage to relieve muscle fatigue. Your situation is more suited to the latter." Dan Feng said to Roxy while recalling massage techniques he had seen in short videos in his previous life.

Under Dan Feng's patient guidance, Roxy shyly and slowly removed her white calf socks, carefully placing them on the floor.

Then, taking a deep breath, she followed Dan Feng's instructions and slowly lay face-down on the sofa, turning her back to him.

Dan Feng looked at Roxy's fair skin with no stray thoughts in his mind.

He said softly, "First, appropriate warmth will help you relax, so I can better massage those easily fatigued spots on your feet."

As he spoke, Dan Feng moved his hands slightly. Transparent stones gradually formed in his palms.

He had infused these stones with a small amount of Imaginary energy, causing them to emit a faint heat.

Dan Feng gently placed these small Imaginary-infused stones on the easily fatigued areas of Roxy's feet, then dripped a few drops of warm water on top.

After completing these preparations, Dan Feng began rubbing the stones back and forth over Roxy's fair legs.

His movements were gentle and soothing. The stones followed the curves of Roxy's legs, moving slowly from top to bottom.

Each rub brought a warm sensation, gradually relaxing the muscles in Roxy's legs.

As Dan Feng massaged, Roxy felt a sour, aching feeling spread from her feet upward through her legs.

Dan Feng applied just the right amount of pressure—enough to let Roxy feel the force without causing pain.

The sensation was somewhat uncomfortable yet indescribably wonderful, as if the fatigue inside her body was being released bit by bit.

This strange touch made Roxy involuntarily let out a soft sigh, the sound seeming to flow from deep within her heart, carrying threads of comfort and satisfaction.

A faint blush gradually spread across her cheeks—caused by the shyness of having Dan Feng's hands moving over her legs.

After a while, Dan Feng's hands finally reached Roxy's small, delicate feet.

This was the most crucial part of the entire massage, so Dan Feng naturally did not dare slack off.

He first took a warm stone and gently placed it on the sole of Roxy's foot, letting the warm current slowly penetrate the skin and make her feet feel heated.

Then, Dan Feng pressed his fingers along the meridians on Roxy's feet. The main source of her soreness came from these meridians, so Dan Feng was especially attentive in massaging them.

...

Time passed quietly under Dan Feng's gentle movements, and Roxy's breathing grew steadier and steadier.

Finally, under Dan Feng's careful massage, Roxy's body completely relaxed, and she fell into a deep sleep.

Dan Feng keenly noticed the change in Roxy. He stopped his actions, afraid of waking her.

He first picked up the socks she had tossed on the floor and placed them in the laundry basket in the bathroom, planning to wash them together that evening.

Then, he carefully turned Roxy over so she lay flat on the sofa.

Next, Dan Feng gently lifted Roxy in a princess carry, preparing to take her back to her own room so she could continue sleeping comfortably.

He carefully placed Roxy on her soft bed. With winter approaching and the night chill growing stronger, he gently tucked the warm blanket over her, ensuring she would feel warmth even in her dreams.

After finishing, he slowly walked out of Roxy's room and gently closed the door, careful not to disturb her sweet dreams.

Next, he went to prepare today's dinner.

Over these months, whether breakfast, lunch, or dinner, Dan Feng had personally cooked everything.

Roxy had a particular fondness for the food he made—especially the apple pie he had learned to make for her. Its sweet fragrance left her intoxicated and deepened her love for Dan Feng even further.

"Hm... Today I'll make apple pie and sandwiches—something simple. Seeing how tired Roxy is, she should sleep straight through to late at night." Dan Feng muttered to himself as he took the necessary ingredients from the basket.

He skillfully washed the apples, peeled them, removed the cores, cut them into small pieces, and put them in a pot to cook until soft.

Then he added a large amount of sugar and stirred evenly—this was because Roxy loved extremely sweet things, and it also intensified the apple flavor.

At the same time, he began preparing the sandwich ingredients.

He toasted the bread slices until golden, then layered them with lettuce, meat, tomato, and finally some sauce the landlady had given him. Delicious sandwiches were complete.

While waiting for the apple pie to cool, Dan Feng thoughtfully poured a glass of milk for Roxy and placed it on the dining table so she could heat it with fire magic when she woke up.

Once everything was ready, Dan Feng looked at the fruits of his labor with satisfaction, filled with a sense of accomplishment.

He hoped these simple foods could bring Roxy fulfillment and happiness—just like his love for Roxy: plain and ordinary, yet sincere and enduring.

This was his understanding of pure love in daily life, and he wanted to spend the rest of his life with his beloved in this simple, unremarkable way.
