Chapter 1 - Bölüm 1

I finally made it to the registration office. Honestly, this school is way bigger than my old ones—it's practically a maze. I think the student I asked for directions either messed with me or I totally misunderstood him. Whatever, I just need to get to the office because classes are starting any second.

When I walked in, my new homeroom teacher, Ms. Jouria, greeted me and started with the paperwork. She took one look at my old grades and let out a huge sigh. Yeah, okay, my grades aren't exactly "star student" material, but it's not the end of the world! Anyway, she finished the registration and told me to head to my class. So, off I went on another hunt for the right room.

Because of my crappy grades and all those "incidents" back at my old school, I ended up in Section E. But I've promised my grandma that I'll stay out of trouble this time. I still couldn't find the room, so I asked some students by the entrance. They told me to head to the building in the backyard.

I just nodded and went there. But when I stepped into the backyard, I was in total shock. This building didn't look like a school at all. The walls were covered in cracks, and the whole place smelled gross because of all the junk piled up outside. I ignored it and walked in, but something felt off. There wasn't a single girl in the class. Everyone was staring at me like I was an alien. Then the teacher came in and told them I was new and to be nice to me. She asked me to introduce myself. I just said, "I'm Jane," and grabbed a seat in the back.

Looking around, the place was a mess—covered in dust, dirt, and graffiti everywhere. It looks like nobody has cleaned it in years. Then this ear-piercing bell rang. Class was over. The teacher told me to come to the staffroom on the second floor to get the notes for the lessons I'd missed. I just nodded and said okay.

After she left, I headed back to the main building. While I was looking for the staffroom on the second floor, I saw my cousin Mark. He and his friends walked right past me like they'd never seen me before in their lives. Typical. I didn't care, though. I went in, got the notes from the teacher, and headed back to my own building. When I walked back into the classroom, all eyes were on me again. At that point, I'd stopped caring. Then the class president walked up to me and asked, "Who are you? And what are you doing in our class?"
