It was just a rainy day in new York the noise of the cars outside the building loud and annoying,until a notification pops up from my computer an email said "Detective William Jones,
My name is Anna Woods. I am writing to report a murder that occurred tonight in New York City.
At approximately 9:40 PM, I discovered a body inside the residence at 214 Blackwood Lane, Manhattan. There were obvious signs of foul play. I checked briefly for a pulse but have not otherwise disturbed the scene.
I heard raised voices earlier in the evening, followed by a loud crash. I did not witness the attack itself, but I am certain this was not an accident. I am currently inside the residence, in a separate room, and I am afraid the perpetrator may still be nearby.
Please notify the appropriate NYPD units and respond as soon as possible. I will remain here until officers arrive.

as I read the email I was shocked and I immediately got up and grab my jacket and left the building I drove my car to 214 blackwood lane, Manhattan when I arrived by the police was already car and some crime scene tape,as I walked in I flashed my badge at the officer"detective William Jones I'm here to investigate a crime scene"
