The story starts in Scotland after a battle. There are three witches meet and plan to meet Macbeth a brave general. Macbeth and his friend Banquo are returning from war when the witches appear before them.
The witches make three prophecies :-

Ā° Macbeth will become than of cawdor.
Ā° Macbeth will be the king in the future of Scotland.
