Walking through the hospital corridor while counting some cash, Jun-Yu was heading toward Wan-Qing's cabin. It seemed that he had just returned after withdrawing money from an ATM booth. At that moment, Shi-Han called out to him from behind, carrying a flower bouquet, a food hotpot, and a bag in her hands. Hearing Shi-Han's voice, Jun-Yu turned around. Shi-Han walked up to him and—

Shi-Han: "Jun-Yu, hold this bouquet. Give it to Senior on my behalf."

As she spoke, Shi-Han handed the bouquet to Jun-Yu and placed the hotpot container on a corridor bench. Then she opened the bag she had brought for Jun-Yu and pulled out a piece of clothing.

Shi-Han: "Listen, since you're as messy as a zombie, I couldn't find your blue jeans and hoodie. I brought whatever I could get my hands on, so just manage with these."

Hearing Shi-Han's words, Jun-Yu's eyes widened. The moment he saw his glitter underwear with the lion and Jerry print in Shi-Han's hand, he was completely stunned. The poor guy let out a dry cough, and his face instantly turned red with embarrassment. He couldn't decide whether to laugh or cry. Shi-Han only added fuel to the fire and said—

Shi-Han: "Easy there! Jun-Yu, easy. Unfortunately, I couldn't fix your taste within such a short time. It's the same color, but a different brand."

Jun-Yu (thinking): "No, I really need to change myself. If I'm this disorganized, things like this are bound to happen. There's nothing unusual about it. But I specifically asked for the blue jeans so that this kind of thing wouldn't happen—and yet this is exactly what happened."

After Shi-Han's comment, Jun-Yu lowered his head in embarrassment and stood there silently. Then he noticed a nurse from Wan-Qing's cabin walking toward them. Not wanting to become even more embarrassed in front of the nurse, Jun-Yu quickly snatched the underwear and hid it behind his back. The nurse paused for a moment and, unwilling to miss the chance to talk to a smart and handsome young man like Jun-Yu, said—

Nurse: "Jun-Yu, what are you hiding?"

Jun-Yu (thinking): "What a nosy woman. Why are you so interested in seeing a boy's private belongings? I don't know you, and you've never met me, yet you still have to talk to me. Instead of taking care of patients like a nurse should, you're more interested in what a patient's family member is hiding."

After mentally scolding the nurse as much as he wanted, Jun-Yu forced a polite smile onto his lips and said—

Jun-Yu (awkwardly): "Nothing, Sister."

Nurse: "Oh, I see. The donor procedure will be finished within fifteen minutes."

Jun-Yu: "Oh. Please go to Senior's cabin. I'll come after lunch."

As soon as he finished speaking, Jun-Yu grabbed the bag from Shi-Han's hand and hurried off toward a VIP room belonging to one of the doctors. Apparently, Jun-Yu had already informed the doctor that he would use the bathroom to take a shower. It was obvious that poor Jun-Yu was too embarrassed to keep standing in front of Shi-Han. Watching his antics, Shi-Han stared blankly in the direction he had gone and said—

Shi-Han: "Jun-Yu, listen... Should I go back to Long-Ying-Ting? Ah, he's already gone. I still have my live stream. I haven't played games for a whole day, and I'll have so much explaining to do. Well, I guess I'll wait a few more minutes. Then I'll take Jun-Yu's changed clothes and the hotpot container and head back."

About fifteen minutes later, Jun-Yu had finished eating and taking a shower and was now standing in the hospital corridor. Although Shi-Han couldn't find the clothes Jun-Yu had asked for, she had brought a stylish pair of gray jeans, a white T-shirt, and a black coat. Jun-Yu had already finished eating. Shi-Han would probably return to Long-Ying-Ting from the hospital shortly. At that moment, Jun-Yu noticed that Wan-Qing had come out of her cabin. He immediately walked toward her—

Jun-Yu (in a worried voice): "Senior, are you alright? You're not feeling unwell, are you?"

Wan-Qing (softly): "No. Don't worry about me, I'm fine. I just feel a little weak."

Jun-Yu (gratefully): "Thank you, Senior. One day, even if I have to repay it with my life, I will repay you for giving life to Shu-Yang."

Hearing such sweet and sincere words between Wan-Qing and Jun-Yu, Shi-Han slightly frowned. Holding the hotpot container in her hand, she started walking away. But suddenly, a storm of press and media reporters surrounded her.

Media (1): "Gaming Queen Shi-Han, why did you murder Xin-Yan, the future heir of Yu-Sheng Music Group? What kind of enmity existed between the two of you?"

Suddenly hearing the media accuse her of murder, Shi-Han was stunned. Murder? Whose murder? Who was killed? She replied in shock—

Shi-Han: "Xin-Yan and murder? Who is Xin-Yan, and why would I kill her? Why are you accusing me of murder?"

Shi-Han had never heard of Xin-Yan before. This was the very first time she had heard the name from the media. It was a completely unfamiliar name, and hearing herself accused of murdering a stranger filled her heart with fear of an unknown disaster. It felt as though the entire sky of the world was collapsing over her head. As Shi-Han threw the question back at the reporters—

Media (2): "You were seen last night at a public bar brutally beating Xin-Yan, the sole heir of China's greatest entertainment company, Xin-Xing, in front of everyone. And now you're saying you don't even know who Xin-Yan is. What exactly is your relationship with Jun-Yu?"

At that question, Shi-Han immediately realized that Xin-Yan was the drunken girl from last night. But dead? What did they mean dead? Xin-Yan had still been alive after Shi-Han hit her. Then what nonsense was the media talking about? Thinking this, Shi-Han remained silent. Seeing her silence—

Media (3): "According to our sources, Xin-Yan was publicly claiming Jun-Yu as her boyfriend. You were also seen in an intimate situation with Jun-Yu. Did you kill Xin-Yan because she protested against your attempt to damage Jun-Yu's reputation? Answer the question."

Jun-Yu was standing some distance away from Shi-Han. He could vaguely hear bits and pieces of the questions the media were throwing at her. However, he couldn't understand why the media were surrounding an ordinary girl like Shi-Han. Jun-Yu didn't even know that Shi-Han was an e-sports gaming player. Perhaps even now he hadn't heard the title "Gaming Queen Shi-Han" spoken by the reporters. Sensing that Shi-Han was in trouble, Jun-Yu rushed toward her. But Wan-Qing suddenly grabbed his right hand—

Wan-Qing: "Junior..."

Only the word "Junior" came out of Wan-Qing's mouth in a faint, weak voice. Jun-Yu immediately turned his head toward her and saw her body collapsing. Quickly catching her, he shouted for help in panic—

Jun-Yu: "Senior! Senior, respond! Doctor! Doctor! Help! Nurse! God, please give me some strength to handle all these problems!"

At that moment, there were no doctors or nurses nearby. Unable to find anyone despite calling for help, Jun-Yu lifted Wan-Qing into his arms and carried her back into her previous cabin.

Meanwhile, Shi-Han watched Jun-Yu silently. The media's accusations were tearing through her heart like poisonous arrows. And at this moment, Jun-Yu wasn't by her side.

"Jun-Yu is involved in this incident too. Couldn't he tell the truth in front of the media and prove my innocence? But what can Jun-Yu do? What he feared most has finally happened. Senior had to lose consciousness at this exact moment. I didn't commit any crime, and I know I'll eventually be proven innocent. But this young man... despite being sick himself since yesterday, how is he handling so much? God, please give Jun-Yu mental strength. Don't make him suffer the pain of losing two important people at the same time."

Shi-Han thought all of this silently while trying to strengthen herself. This wasn't the time to lose courage or strength. But reality wouldn't stop just because she wished it to. The media continued circling around her like vultures, throwing one question after another.

Shu-Yang's ICU room was located only a short distance away from Wan-Qing's cabin. The media had no idea that a young man lying on the edge of death was still fighting desperately against death nearby.

Suddenly, Jing-Hao entered the hospital corridor wearing a formal police uniform. However, he wasn't alone. He had brought one male officer and two female officers with him. Seeing the media causing such a disturbance, they immediately scolded them—

Jing-Hao: "What is this? Why are you creating such a disturbance in front of an ICU patient's room? Leave immediately!"

Shi-Han assumed that the police had come to check on Officer Shu-Yang's condition. However, the media suspiciously asked the officers—

Media (1): "Don't chase us away, Officer. We have proof that Gaming Queen Shi-Han is a murderer. Have you come here to arrest Shi-Han?"

Perhaps Jing-Hao had truly come to see Shu-Yang, but the media didn't know that Officer Shu-Yang was in the ICU. Seeing police officers in the hospital, they immediately assumed the police had come to arrest Shi-Han.

Amid the media's commotion, a doctor stepped out of Shu-Yang's room, while a nurse came out of Wan-Qing's cabin and said—

Doctor: "Officer, remove the media immediately. The patient's condition is not good. There is so much noise in front of an ICU patient's room, and you're still standing around doing nothing?"

Before the doctor could even finish speaking, the nurse angrily added—

Nurse: "Get out of here! You're disturbing the peace and order of the hospital. Even healthy patients are feeling dizzy because of this chaos. If even a single patient suffers because of you, it will damage the hospital's reputation. Leave immediately!"

The police force and the doctor began pushing the media out of the hospital corridor. Even while being forced out, the reporters continued broadcasting live—

Media (2): "Hello everyone! As you can see, the police have arrived to arrest Gaming Queen Shi-Han, the alleged murderer of Xin-Yan, the owner of the famous music company Yu-Sheng Group. However, considering the condition of an ICU patient, the police are preventing us from reporting freely. Stay tuned to our channel for updates on the arrest of Gaming Queen Shi-Han. Thank you."

For the time being, the media had left the hospital, but they were still standing outside, waiting to collect video footage of Gaming Girl Shi-Han's arrest.

Meanwhile, back in Wan-Qing's hospital cabin, Wan-Qing had regained consciousness. Standing beside her were Jun-Yu and a doctor.

Doctor: Jun-Yu, there is nothing to be afraid of. Donating a bag of blood is not a simple matter. She needs some time to rest. Since she started walking around immediately after donating blood, her blood pressure suddenly dropped, which caused this condition. Here, take this prescription. I have written down some medications, and make sure she is kept under special care for a few days. Feed her healthy, protein-rich food. I'll be back later.

**As soon as the doctor finished speaking, he handed the prescription to Jun-Yu. Holding the prescription in his hand, Jun-Yu said—

Jun-Yu: Thank you, Doctor.

**After explaining Wan-Qing's physical condition, the doctor left the room. Wan-Qing remained seated in her cabin. She had regained consciousness within a few minutes. Hearing that Wan-Qing was alright, Jun-Yu finally breathed a sigh of relief.

But just as Wan-Qing's recovery reassured him, thoughts of Shi-Han immediately weighed heavily on his mind. In a hurry and with a worried expression, Jun-Yu said to Wan-Qing—

Jun-Yu: Senior, you live alone. At a time like this, you need someone by your side to take care of you. After Professor Sir, I am the person you trust the most. I'm asking you to stay at my apartment for a few days. I'm in a very difficult situation right now. Please, until I return, don't go anywhere from here. And if possible, please keep an eye on Shu-Yang for me.

**After saying those words, Jun-Yu left Wan-Qing's cabin.

Wan-Qing could not understand what exactly was happening with Jun-Yu. Sitting quietly, she thought to herself—

"Junior, compared to the physical discomfort I'm feeling from donating blood, I feel even more pain thinking about your mental condition.

You were sick yourself. You spent the entire night connected to oxygen and IV fluids. Yet the moment you regained consciousness this morning, you had to start running around dealing with one problem after another.

How helpless must a person feel to ask a classmate—someone unrelated by blood, who came to help and even became sick in the process—to take care of his friend?

Despite carrying so much mental pressure, you're constantly rushing around. Sometimes searching for blood donors, sometimes fulfilling your responsibilities. Many people cannot manage everything at once, but you continue to handle every situation.

Honestly, you are incredibly strong mentally.

If only I were as physically strong as you are mentally, you wouldn't have to worry about me so much, Junior.

To tell the truth, Junior, you are the only person in this world who feels truly close to me. I am by your side, and I will never leave you alone in times of trouble."

**After thinking those words to herself, Wan-Qing decided not to leave. Since Jun-Yu had entrusted her with the responsibility of watching over Shu-Yang, she remained there and faithfully carried out that responsibility.
